The view from the hotel is very beautiful and nice to have dinner or to drink. The food is very good. The breakfast is also very good. The room is a bit small.

We upgraded our room to stay in the main hotel. Staff were helpful and courteous. The amenities are surprisingly varied and would cater for a wide range of visitor. Natural scenery is wonderfully integrated into hotel complex. We almost overlooked the hotel, it has a discrete, private setting with a luxury feel. We had a wonderful stay. We will certainly be back.

Amazing Hotel and can only recommend. I am an artist and have painting weeks at the hotel. The location is great and is directly at the lago maggiore lake. You would drive past it if you wouldn't know it is there, because it is so hidden. So private! It is also not far from Luino and you can go to the market. The view from the hotel is a 10/10!!! The service and everyone at the hotel is great and very friendly. The breakfast buffet is amazing. It is already starting in the morning so early and goes on until 11. The buffet is big and has a lot of different options. All the rest of the food is also incredible. Love the food!!! We do love the hotel a lot in every part and like to go there every year.

Wonderful place to escape time and enjoy great food in an amazing environment. Can't wait for our next visit!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gehobener Lage und Küche. Der private Strand, die vielen Anlagen am Hotel sind der Hammer und der Seeblick fantastisch.

Sensationelles Frühstück, tolle Lage - aussergewöhlich schöner Garten und Anlage! Da kann man schon eine kleine Weile spazieren gehen, alles innerhalb der Anlage. Eigener Seezugang (Leiter), Bootsanlegeplatz, SUP, Kajak, Pedalo und Open-Air Gym für Gäste vorhanden. Direkt neben dem Hotel hat es auch noch einen öffentlichen Strand wo man auch zu Fuss in den See kann. Sehr kinderfreundlich ausgerichtet bis hin zu Babysitting, dh Kindersitze etc sind ausreichend verfügbar.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit einem großen Aussenbereich (Erholung, Fitness, Garten & eigenem Wasserfall). Eine Bar ist auch vorhanden. Der Service war einwandfrei & das Essen sensationell. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Mega schönes Anwesen. Für ein entspanntes Wochenende fehlt es an nichts. Toller Liegebereich rund um die Anlage. Auf Nachfrage wird auch der Jacuzzi und die kleine 90°C Sauna angemacht. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker gewesen und jeder Mitarbeiter, vom Rezeptionist bis zum Keller, waren professionell und man wird mit der italienischen Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit empfangen .

We chose Hotel Villa Porta as our wedding location and could not have made a better decision! The location speaks for itself and the newly opened Limonaia ballroom with a private terrace offers absolutely stunning views of the Lago Maggiore. Just as important as the location was the highly professional organization by Ms Lara, Betta, Sumith and the entire Villa Porta staff. It was a pleasure working together leading up to our wedding day, and everything went according to plan on the day itself - even the smallest details were taken care of. Our guests were very impressed with how attentive the staff were, the quality of the food, and the location itself. A little to the side of the main travel hubs, this incredibly beautiful location offers a reprise from the larger tourist rushes and let's you have the incredible lake majora almost to yourself. I can honestly not recommend the place enough. A special shoutout for the staff for being so incredibly kind, professional and helpful. The food was delicious, and on top of that the hotel features an incredibly beautiful inner yard, complete with a beach with a bar, jacuzzi , rentable boats and kayaks among with other luxuries. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed an amazing couple of days here and will definitely be coming back

Beautiful lakefront property with gorgeous views from every spot to get enjoy food and drink (main dining room, cafe, beach bar, little nooks…). All of the staff were excellent. Wonderful base to cycle around the region, with thoughtful touches for riders. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

What a beautiful place! We stayed there for a couple of nights and had booked two rooms as we were traveling with our kids. The place has a spectacular view over the lake and we especially liked the pretty garden behind the house. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. I am sure that we will be back!

A wonderful hotel to get married at (or just stay for a break!). With large tropical gardens along the lakeside, and the bridal room /tower and terraces separate from the main hotel you can feel that you have almost exclusive use of the gardens. The staff are attentive and charming, the food superb - excellent Italian food and not in the slightest pretentious, just lovely flavours and beautifully presented. The management team of Lara and Enzo make you feel part of their family. Everyone who joined us at our wedding loved every aspect of the hotel, from the rooms, to the amazing breakfast, the 'beach', the location, and the dinners. This has to rate as the best hotel any of us have stayed at, and we'd love to return.

My partner and I visited this hotel for a relaxing four night break and it was even better than we hoped. Admittedly we had amazing weather which made our short trip even more fantastic but the hotel was great and the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location was very quiet as we wanted but it was busier in very nearby places. It is a great place to explore around the lake and very close to the Swiss border too, so we visited two countries for the price of one. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, very well kept gardens and grounds and all very clean. We stayed in Room 202 which is quite small but it has a verandah so great for sun lovers like us. Would highly recommend this Hotel and would not hesitate to return.

Very nice located Hotel right at the lake. The Hotel has a large beautiful property. The park attached to the hotel is full of beautiful trees and flowers. You can find a large green space to relax in the sun, a playground for kids, a pool for kids, a jacuzzi, daybeds.. and much more. As you walk through the park you can also enjoy a coop drink at the outside cafe/ bar or relax in the wellness area. The rooms are nice and clean. Babies and kids are welcome. They offer baby beds (pack and play), Bath-tubes for babies and more.

Unquestionably the best choice I've ever made for a hotel. My wife and I found this hotel sort of on a whim when planning a trip to Lake District, and we dream of going back nearly every day! Incredible grounds, lake front, gardens, restaurants, top notch service. Everything you could ask for.

I did not stay at the hotel itself, but I did attend a wedding reception there. We started outside and the view was absolutely amazing. the staff were fast at refilling the appetizers and picking up the dirty dishes and the drinks were made to perfection. Once we got to the dinning hall, the view was still magical as there are floor to ceiling windows, and plants everywhere making you feel you’re still apart of the nature. The food presentation was very clean and appealing, and the food itself didn’t disappoint.

Beautiful hotel with great service!

Everything but the reservation process was great. After booking a room, we received a call informing that it was unavailable. Got offered an apartment nearby that was nowhere near as nice. Declined the offer and a few hours later received another call saying that the room we originally booked was suddenly available. Coincidence? Other than that, the room ended up being lovely and the food great. Beautiful views and friendly service.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant experience by the lake with great views (from inside and outside seatings). The staff is very attentive and friendly. There’s also a small pool for the kids to play.
