An
old
and
powerful
temple
of
Lord
Shiva,
where
the
Linga
itself
emerged
out
of
the
ground.
The
positive
vibes
and
the
superb
aura
of
the
temple
fills
you
up
with
postivity
and
energy.
I
had
goosebumps
when
I
first
visited
the
temple.
Regular
Pooja's,
Hawan's
and
Udyapan's
are
done
here.
One
can
not
offer
anything
except
of
the
water
collected
from
inside
the
temple
on
the
main
Lingam.
There's
another
Lingam
in
front
of
the
main
one
where
you
can
offer
milk,
water
and
do
Rudraabhishek
and
Pooja.
The
Swami
ji
at
the
temple
carries
the
holy
divinity
of
the
temple
and
is
very
well
educated
and
has
profound
knowledge
of
all
religions
and
philosophy,
came
to
know
he
has
a
Doctorate
degree
too.
It
was
an
experience
being
in
his
chamber
during
a
satsang.
There's
a
Maa
Parvati
Temple
opposite
the
Gupteshwar
temple
and
on
the
occasion
of
Maha
Shivratri
a
Gathbandhan
is
done
connecting
the
Dhwaja's
of
both
the
temples.
It's
a
rare
sight
of
both
the
temples
being
so
close
together.
Moving
forward
one
can
visit
Gwari
Ghaat
(Maa
Narmada
River)
and
visit
Maa
Narmada
Temple
or
the
Gurudwara
at
the
opposite
bank
of
the
divine
river.
You
can
enjoy
boating
and
birdwatching
as
there
are
thousands
of
migrated
Siberian
Gulls
(Larus
Fuscus
Heuglini)
during
the
winter
season.
