Kejetia Market is a vibrant and bustling marketplace offering a wide range of products. Its maze-like layout can be overwhelming, but it adds to the charm. From local crafts to fresh produce, there's something for everyone. Bargaining is essential, and the street food is a delightful treat. It's a sensory experience not to be missed!

Kejetia is a one stop market for everything situated at the middle of Kumasi, right opposite Child Welfare Clinic. You can get from grocery, fabrics, Kente, jewelry, shoes, bags, household items, the list is endless… It’s opened everyday, mostly closed by 6pm. Just center and look around, you’ll get whatever you need. The place is a little difficult to move around so you may get lost but don’t worry, ask for directions and you’re good to go. You’ll get quality and affordable Kente at Gate 12

the Kejetia Market is one of the largest and busiest open-air markets in Ghana. Located in Kumasi, it is a vibrant hub of trade and commerce. The market offers a wide range of products, including fresh produce, clothing, textiles, electronics, household goods, and traditional crafts. It is a one-stop destination for locals and tourists alike, catering to all their shopping needs. One of the notable aspects of Kejetia Market is its bustling atmosphere. The market is always filled with activity, with vendors calling out their goods and customers bargaining for the best prices. It gives you a true taste of the local culture and the vibrant energy of Kumasi. The market is well-organized, with different sections dedicated to various products. This makes it easier to navigate and find what you're looking for. However, it can get crowded, especially during peak hours, so it's advisable to visit early in the day to avoid the crowds. The prices at Kejetia Market are generally reasonable, but as with any market, it's important to negotiate and haggle for the best deals. The vendors are friendly and willing to negotiate, so don't be afraid to bargain. Overall, Kejetia Market is a must-visit destination in Kumasi. It offers a unique shopping experience and a glimpse into the local way of life. Just be prepared for the crowds and embrace the lively atmosphere.

This place is always lively and safe. The site is a host of 7,000 stores unfortunately all the stores use one metre hence if there be a fault or disconnection, the entire place becomes totally dark. This however makes the place not really good to be if there be power outage. In all, you can get almost everything there.

  • 2/5 Ebenezer A. 3 years ago on Google
Its was my first time and I really didn't get what I wanted, almost that item got out of stock. Some staff, I felt, look reluctant to assist client looking for an item except for one Joel who was poised to assist people at the curtains section. For the rest, all I can see is them visiting the washrooms frequently. I definitely will be there again but expect the best of service.

  • 5/5 Wofa A. 3 years ago on Google
The mall is situated at Ahinsan which is on the Asokwa- Atonsu stretch. They have a nice place coupled with numerous products. And their prices are yet to be beaten by any other mall or shop cos they are very affordable, in fact cheap is the right word to use. They have almost every product you can think of and those that you can't think of. You will surely leave there with impulse product purchase because some products that you see will marvel and surely alert your interest. CHINA MALL IS A PLACE TO SHOP

  • 1/5 Purrfect P. 3 years ago on Google
Nearly all the attendants are rude and couldn't care less. The check-out line takes forever and the Chinese overlords think that we are dirt bags keeping their money. I still go there for things I can't get elsewhere but I won't recommend them to a friend.

One big market that contains so many different shops which sells different items. The shops sell mostly dresses, shirts, earrings and other ornamental items. There is a butcher's shop where beef and goat 🐐 meat is always available. Smoke fish and fresh fish are also available for sale always The environment is neat . There is also a restaurant and a clinic Nice edifice but limited parking place.

The market is a modern market. Unlike other markets in Kumasi, this market is outstanding. It has a spacious place for everyone who is either going there for shopping or for excursion. There is also a spacious car lots beneath the market and a lorry station to the various towns in Ashanti region and it's environs. People travel from afar to this market for shopping either in bulk or single shopping.

  • 4/5 Yaa O. 2 years ago on Google
Couldn't get what I wanted but ended up with other things I needed so it's all good. Grouping the stalls into categories of goods also helps (suggestion to the planners) since it looks rather disorganized.

  • 4/5 meshack f. 2 years ago on Google
You buy what you want, eat what you like and descend down to take a transport to your location. Shopping made easy. The only shortfall is that they allow some other transport operators to park and take passengers at the outlet, thereby causing traffic, especially in the evening

  • 4/5 JEREMIAH B. 2 years ago on Google

The best governmental mall produced in Kumasi. For a first time consumers could get a place to rest small before continuing with errands. All one has to keep in mind is the floor levels and shop numbers. The only minus of this place is how hawkers have taken every entry point of the facility. Hawkers have taken up all the walkways and people have to bump into each other when entering or exiting.

I was at the new bus terminal inside Kejetia. The toilet facility was good. The way this station is shaded keep the sun out of reach although at the peak of the day it can be warmer it better than a direct sun 🌞 🌄 l. However it took me a very long time to get the mini bus 🚌 a board to take off simply because people didn't join timely, probably due to the fact that most people don't know there. I was there at 10a.m the bus moved at 5p.m

  • 5/5 Baba Y. 2 years ago on Google
The Kejetia market is about the largest in Ghana. In it can be found different lorry stations, all kinds of stuff shops, many wheelchair accessible entrances and exits, lorry parks and even a restaurant. In fact, it is a stylish modern market with almost all that one will desire to purchase. However, it adds some beautification to the Kumasi city. There are banks and a hospital in this market. It also has a wheelchair accessible parking. On a whole, the market is clean and good.

A magnificent structure comprising hundreds of stalls where traders sell and supply a variety of wares. The wares range from fabrics to groceries. It has a well-designed car park and lorry station which commute passengers to the various parts of the Kumasi Metropolitan and beyond the Ashanti Region.

  • 4/5 Wesley Agyekum John (Proff De G. 1 year ago on Google
The market is very nice and shopping is so exiting but transport is very poor, not everywhere has access to roads, sometimes when buying many things, you have to carry your items on your head one after the other, as many as they are, until you can gather them altogether at the bus terminal, that's a tough work to do

  • 4/5 Georgina A. 1 year ago on Google
I loved many of the merchants, really nice people. Lots of goodies to buy. You should try to go with a local because they can sense foreigners which magically increases the price of things. When ever you visit, stop at "The love of kente" store# F 1658 and F1651. 2 stores located directly across from each other. Mama Joyce and Daddy are awesome. Great prices for quality.

  • 4/5 Abena F. 1 year ago on Google
It's a busy place with "fast" people. When there, you need to have extra eyes and be vigilant. The prices for goods here keep on hiking every now and then. The folks here are friendly until they are not. Otherwise, it's a lovely place to visit. You have everything you need in one place ❤️

  • 4/5 Dramani K. 6 months ago on Google
A very busy and bustling commercial hub in the CBD which sees a somewhat low level of busy when it is night time after the rush hour time. Street side hawkers display their wares for people to buy and other night businesses comes alive this time from tea spots to fast foods restaurants and mobile services providers and also the trotro drivers and their mates. I like taking my strolls around that area most often because I fancy seeing the many individuals moving to and fro looking eagerly for vehicles to board to their homes and the behaviour of the night hawkers who try to get you to buy their wares with those convincing talks and there shouting of the driver-mate for passengers to come aboard their trotro home. However , one needs to be weary of the hundreds of pickpockets walking around in the mist of the people. You have to hold on tight to your phone or any other valuables because you will never know when they have taken it away. The least instance you bump into someone the faster you're robbed off you things, so be very vigilant.

🤗 The market -the mother of Kumasi- has fed millions of families since her birth. Today, it consist of multi-cultural food stuffs sold by the various natives of theses cultures. I found many types of veggies, fruits, and other organic foods. No matter your background, Kejetia market will serve your delicacy. Every day, farmers, butchers, and hawkers from all walks of life gather their merchandise to make them ready for buyers. In spite of the multitudes of items that are made ready for sales, our Father Jehovah makes it possible for every vendor to get at least a sale. Then, the modern market ushered in another trend of market. Today, apart from food stuff, Kejetia serves products for technology enthusiasts, leather workers, you name them.... For mobile phones, computers, services, clothing, shoes, confectioneries, car accessories, bags, all can be purchased in an instant. I love Kejetia market! A place you must be for your goods and services. Let's meet there...👋🤣😁

For the first time I heard of this place mentioned by a beautiful lady who'd drop inside of the market, I became curious of what this Dubai would be. It's no doubt if you call it such. What a nice place. Noisy just like many markets but seems different to experience its environment. Provides almost every variety of stuff you'd want to buy. Has variety of foods and you can dine inside. Anyway, what made me a bit displeased was the annoying power cut. Though I didn't know the cause but I could perceive what the consequence it will pose upon traders: theft on point. Just as I thought of this, the guy who brought me yoghurt to buy as I requested for it seconded my thought of theft during the power cut. One thing I'd like to see there is a more garbage containers placed at every vantage point for dumping trash. But I also think such a good place should be respected and valued by citizens who should habitually keep their city clean. God bless Ghana.

  • 3/5 Joseph D. 7 months ago on Google
The place lack proper management and make it difficult to maneuver around the premises. Unstabilized electricity and energy, which makes the place dark in the afternoon to the extent that without touch light one finds it difficult to walk, it makes movement a bit slower than normal for both pedestrians 🚶‍♂️ and vehicles.
