Tilwara bridge offers a spectacular view of Narmada river along with Tilwara ghat. This bridge is one of the oldest although new bridge is constructed. It comes in NH-14 connecting Jabalpur to Nagpur. If you are traveling to Jabalpur make this is your place to go and enjoy scenic beauty of Narmada river.

'Tilwara Bridge' is situated on the edge of river Narmada. and there is an old bridge here which is of British time. and a new bridge has been built here, which is a bridge connecting Jabalpur - Nagpur highway, which is built on the Narmada river. various temples like Shani temple, Kali temple, Hanuman temple etc are located here.

Dubki maro, bahar aao. Not recommended for swimming. Peaceful place. Authority needs attention for keeping place clean. I have seen somebody was bathing his dog. This must be banned.

This bridge is made in the Holy river of the Narmada. Many types of vehicles run daily all over the bridge, and also canal across the road parallel of the road and benefited many farmers to the canals.

We have recently visited tilwara ghat. We have done Pooja there & enjoyed the Dubki in Maa Narmada. Place was very clean. Yes when we visited there was no changing room. It may be because of flood. Overall enjoyed a lot. Namami Devi Narmade.

One of the cleanest ghats in Jabalpur. Barely crowded you can sit here for hours without any ruckus. Slightly outside the city but public transport is easily available. Must visit during sunset.
