This is a hidden gem. The good was truly authentic and tasty. The ambience was great in a middle-eastern way too. However, one major point of feedback is on the music. If you play Justin Bieber and commercial songs while you're trying to create an authentic experience, it kills the vibe. They need to promote themselves more and keep the vibe more authentic with the right music. Imagine having belly dance performances here with the Turkish ambience and food. That would be a good vibe!

I spent my weekend at Baris GK, this place has very attractive ambiance and they serves Turkish food so it different experience all together, i tried multiple food items and each item i ordered turned very tasty. i started my meal with mercimek corbasi soup it as served with lemon 🍋 adding lemon in soup enhanced its taste it was thick and tasty. then i moved to starters and as per staff recommendation i ordered cigar borek it was crispy and very very tasty, then i ordered veg kebab platter as it had multiple option in one plate and i liked everything and paneer tikka in that was my best pick 🤤 i also had sebzli pide (pizza) which had cheese and veggies it was nicely presented with dips and taste was really good. in main course i had chilav (turkish biryani) which was served with hung curd its taste was totally different i had first time this kind of biryani and loved it, in last i had Turkish Tea with baklava i had Tea and baklava together and it was like happy ending of my meal. service was in the top, in this covid time they taking all necessary precautions as per government, do it was wonderful experience. Thanks Team Baris❤️

5 reasons to never try this place: 1.The place doesn't serve Turkish food by any standards. 2.The portion size is meant for a single petite person with less appetite 3.They have fancy names for their unpleasant tasting food 4.They serve stale food specially the burnt breads and humus. 5.Inspite of all the above 4 reasons, they have the audacity to charge a hefty bill.

Visited this place with a friend. Decent terrace place with a live singer. Wanted to go sit outdoors so thought of trying this place and also since we like Mediterranean food we were like might as well. The ambience was fine but too loud for our taste. The singer was darn loud that we couldn't have a normal conversation. We had to really speak up to hear each other. I spoke to the manager to give him feedback to ask the singer to tone down a bit but it didn't happen. Hence, not going here again ever but ok for a one time visit. Food was so so and the ambience was ok.

Good ambience, good food presentation, good staffs and Knafeh was the only dish that was worth the name of the restaurant. Please don't go there thinking it is an authentic Turkish/ Mediterranean restaurant, none of the other items I ordered from the menu had any Mediterranean taste. The Arabic meze plater was horrible, the hummus didn't even have any olive oil, sesame, lemon etc, it was just plain chick pea mash. The non-veg kebab platter had varieties but with lesser portion and it tasted like the regular Indian Kebabs. The knafeh was the only dish that was worth having here. I would not recommend this place for authentic Turkish/ Mediterranean food and you will not get your money's worth. Suggestion to the owner get a chef who knows about Turkish cusine as I came to know the actual person from Turkey who used to work here left during the COVID19.

An authentic and refreshing Mediterranean dining experience awaits our presence at the heart of the city's most exciting market, GK 2. Baris is located in the middle of a lush green patch of the market and offers a peak into the Turkish aesthetic with its Arabesque windows emboldened by the intricately designed vintage-styled tiles. The place adopts its name from the Turkish word for 'peace', Barış, becoming a peaceful Epicurean retreat from the noise of the city.. The menu spreads across original and traditional dishes blended in inspired Mediterranean flavours in a space that offers both a fine dining section and a laid-back lounge for those who prefer the chill vibes. The food is delicious , drinks are well served overall its a nice place to feed ur hunger.

Our dining experience was much below expectations. The food was tasty and authentic Turkish. But the quantity was loo less. The prices are on the higher side. The ambience is okay. It seems that during pandemic , the restaurant is cutting corners. They must live upto expectations.

Went to Baris for a late night dinner. Surprisingly, the whole place was empty. They didn't have several things from the menu. Even though the staff didn't know the prep and ingredients too well, the service was prompt. The ambience and setup is classy. However, the food tasted quite mediocre. The chicken was hard and chewy, with a salty gravy. Humus tasted good though. The place has only good decor. There are other places serving better Mediterranean cuisine.

All the food is very good compared to authentic Turkish dishes. Even the Turkish coffee. The only reason to take a star off is because the rice wrapped in wine leaf (dolma in Greek) was nothing like the authentic dish. Also, the baklava was the store-bought kind, very sugar sweet. The ambience is lovely and tables are spaced out to give everyone space to chat. The only drawback is the loud music that prevents comfortable conversation. Service is excellent and timely, and the staff is very polite, but not overly eager. Perfect balance.

Baris is a cool restaurant with a hip and trendy aura(i guess what most people nowadays love). The food is average, but I've definitely tasted better. We were seated on the terrace, which was nice and cozy, but the portions were meager. We ordered two full meals which weren't enough for us. I wouldn't say the food is bad, but it's not as great as the hype would have you believe. The service, however, was excellent. They were quick and responsive to our needs. Overall, I would say that Baris is a decent restaurant, but it's not one that I would rave about.

Baris in Turkish means Peace. Peace comes when you have good food & good company. Ambiance of this place is quite comfy & cozy. It is ideal for a date or a friends birthday partty. It glimmers in the dark with some neon lights. Staff is courteous & supportive. Nearest to Greater Kailash Metro station. Now Lets talk food or should i say Gida ? Cheese Cigar rolls Cigar Rolls filled with chorn ,cheese & herbs. Gave a tingy flavour with black pepper. Complimenting with sweet chilli sauce. Paneer Shish Kebab Shish kebab is grilled skewered chunks of meat but instead they improvised with paneer or cottage cheese. Served it in the same way. Loved the flavours. Turkish Pizza / Sebzelli Pide Veggies with mild flavoured sauce & cheese. Quite flavourful with mozzarella & feta. Mantar Yahnisi Wild Mushrooms sauteed with onion, garlic, thyme balsamic glaze, parmesan. It is served with hummus. Bread is lavash crostini. Paneer Gurvec Cottage cheese, shallots, olives , Veggies baked with mozzarella. Turned into a spiced up gravy. Served with saffron rice/pilaf. They serve north indian also. They have good options in north indian as well. Refreshing drinks as well. I had watermelon & pomegrenate mocktails. A decent place for food , fun, dates & get together.

Baris is located in GK 2 - the market is quite happening with lots of retsurants and there is ample parking too. Floor 2 is an outdoor seating and looking amazing with beautiful seating. However, it was quite hot so we prefered to dine indoors on 1st Floor. 1st Floor is dark with LIT up tables across the floor and quirky quotes on the walls. The seating is very comfy. Staff is good and helpful too. We ordered the following: Beyti: You can simply call it a juicy mutton roll. It tasted decent and had juicy lamb in it. This comes with a dip and some veggies. In terms of value for money, i think its very expensive for a mutton roll. Lehmacun Pizza: I had high expectations from this as i have had Turkish Pizza at many places and its usually delicious. However this one was not upto the mark - keema over a break, that what it is. Mocktail: I also ordered a Pomegranate mocktail and it was not good, too much masala used. Quite hard to gup down. Overall, the ambience and vibe of the place is good but the food and value for money can be much better.

Head to this gem if you are a Mediterranean cuisine lover and relish some lip-smacking dishes. The best part is they have quite a elaborate offering for vegetarians and I would recommend you to try cigar rolls, aloo kebab, peyneer(paneer) kebab, kiwi baris, chilav, pizza to try. We also ordered Kadai paneer and daal makhani, which tasted average. Butter Naan was very soft. The service is a bit slow but the overall ambience and feel will compensate that. Hog on to this place at weekends, and you might end of enjoying some great belly performance or any other. Also, avoid taking rooftop sitting as its very humid. Overall experience is worth trying.

Baris is the perfect spot to unwind. They serve some exquisite drinks & sumptuous Mediterranean delights. They host live music events. We recently attended one and had a great time. Visit Baris and you'll love the perfect vibe.

Baris - The first floor gives off quite a retro and bar vibe. The terrace on the other hand is quite the experience to enjoy during the evening/night time while enjoying the live music. The food is quite delicious and worth the money and the time spent. From the delectable variety of cocktails to the mouth-watering Baklava Duo, it was an amazing experience. But unfortunately it can only be considered as a one time affair. So take from this review what you wish but the place is definitely worth a visit.

Utter disappointment. we expected it to be nice exotic experience of Turkish culinary. I am afraid to say that some of the dishes are made better at my own place. Thanks to baris my respect for home made Turkish dishes has gone up. Place can be avoided if u r looking for good food.

I would give 0 starts if I could. Really patheic experience. Reaeved the table the previous day, on coming to Baris, We were informed that it was closed due to stair installation. The Manager Mr Raj Singh was not reachable even after reaching Baris. No prior intimation about restaurant closing. Worst response of staff (Mr Vijay) available at the location saying the stair installation was started since morning only and it was known to owner Mr Guarav Sethi only. The least they could do was inform the customer who has already done reservation. Would not visit ever again! 0/5

It's a fancy place but over priced in terms of quantity of food. Nonetheless the food was fresh (especially the Pida and the Mezze platter - the breads are cooked there real time). Service is a bit slow, would have appreciated if a few bites or a welcome drink was shared on arrival since prep time of food is high.
