A Flavorful Adventure! We recently embarked on a culinary adventure at Hotto, and we were blown away! This was our first foray into the world of Asian cuisine, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. Our server, Kasahun, was an absolute gem. He patiently guided us through the menu, answering all our (many!) questions with a smile. His enthusiasm was contagious! The food? Simply divine! We savored every bite, each dish a symphony of flavors. Hotto truly checked off a major item on our bucket list. If you're looking for a dining experience that's both delicious and unforgettable, look no further! Hotto is a must-try.

Could be good sometimes but Beware, food and service might not be what you have been expecting had last time. we went to this restaurant twice with friends. First time, we had a nile perch and salmon teriyaki, both tested awesome and service was excellent. Then, on the second night, we ordered sushi and salmon teriyaki. The salmon teriyaki taste was terrible, completely different that you would like to have a small bite, i have complained this to the waiter and waited around 20mins just to get a staff from kitchen to talk to me, they offered Nile perch as compensation. However, i was really disappointed by the food and the slow service this time. For the price, they are asking i don't plan to go this place again.

Hotto is truly a gem in Addis Ababa, and my experience there for my sister’s birthday was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism by Dan, the co-owner and head chef. He took the time to personally greet us and provided an in-depth summary of the menu, which was both informative and engaging. His passion for his craft and commitment to excellence were evident throughout the evening. Our waiter, Yisak, was phenomenal. The quality of service he provided was second to none. His attentiveness, thoughtful recommendations, and consistent care ensured that every detail of our dining experience was flawless. He truly went above and beyond, making us feel valued and cared for throughout the evening. As someone who has traveled extensively and experienced the world-class service of establishments like the Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, and The Edition, I can confidently say that the level of service and attention to detail at Hotto was on par, if not better. Every element of the evening, from the ambiance to the food, was crafted to perfection, creating an unforgettable experience for me and my sister. I highly recommend Hotto for any occasion, whether it’s a romantic date night, an intimate dinner to impress loved ones, or a business meeting where you want to make a lasting impression. This is not just a restaurant – it’s an experience that sets a new standard for dining in Addis Ababa. Great atmosphere, great dinner, sitting arrangement great for family, nice classical music, ask for Yisak for an amazing service, very cooperative, great advice on food choice. Excellent service overall! It’s good to have a decent place in Addis! Keep it up!

Fantastic restaurant in Addis - from the food (start to finish), atmosphere (great DJ, the music was always on point), to the service (ask for Nathanael if you can). Been there twice and never disappoints!

Loved the vibes classy yet cozy. Service is flawless i really really like the service here. food is delicious though the menu’s a bit limited. Still, you come for the fine dining, chic interior, and dreamy ambiance.

We loved the food here. The service was great and welcoming starting from the gate service. The staff explained about the food which was fantastic. Everyone was so cooperative. The place is very classy. Great ambiance. We loved the chicken teriyaki and Salmon. Highly recommend it. Oh and good coffee as well.
