Nothing seems to be a problem. Helpful staff and the breakfast was for all tastes. The omelette station was very rewarding 😋. Champagne as well if you so desire whilst looking out to Spain and the little marina next to the runway. Good view. Eat till your content. Continental to full English, cereals, pastries fruit and juices all there for your consumption. The porters can't do enough for you and of course a little back hander of currency never goes amiss as a thank you does it? My partner is disabled and Pablo supplied a wheelchair from the Hotel for our use when we needed it. Very very helpful gentleman and polite, understanding and courteous. Many thanks Sunborn Gibraltar your staff are a credit. See you again soon.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The staff are friendly and always willing to help you with anything you need and greet you with a smile. The food - breakfast in particular - was great, lots of choice and something for everyone! Along with the great food onboard, there is a wide selection of restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. Will definitely be returning!

I have given this hotel a 3 in general although my ratings for the rest of the hotel are higher. The reasons for this are as follows: 1. On arrival my reserved parking was not available with the reason being someone else was in there and had not vacated the spot. Something about a wedding and late departure etc. This might seem trivial but for a 5* hotel they should be more organised. 2. They guarantee your room is available at 14:00. But in this case when we arrived at 14:15 it was still not available and in fact we had to leave our luggage in reception as we had a prior meeting. While the staff were very apologetic the room was not ready until about 15:15. This is not something you would expect from a 5* hotel. 3. The hotel is looking a little tired. Mostly this refers to the common areas. Very warn and dirty carpets, old fashioned decor and a feeling she needs some renovation. 4. Despite asking we never had an evening turndown. Something they said they would do but during our 3 night stay didn't. On a positive note: the staff were helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The location is probably the best for Gibraltar if you want to be where all the action and nightlife is. Would I stay there again? Probably as there's not really any other option. However, that's not really what you want from a 5* hotel recommendation.

Absolutely fabulous place to base a stay in Gibraltar. Right by the airport where can can literally see the planes arrive and leave. No noise disturbance though, so all good. Staff and service are exemplary and can't do enough for you. Front desk are similarly very responsive to needs and knowledgeable. Stunning views from the rooms of the harbour, island and the mainland. Good selection of breakfast options and two well served restaurants, although can be a little expensive. Well worth a stay. Thoroughly recommended.

It was an amazing weekend spent on the 5 star yacht hotel. Gibraltar is a little gem of a place, plenty of history, attractions aplenty. Famed for the Barbary apes. Shops and bars on narrow streets. it is a mix of British and Spanish culture. would recommend this experience to all.

An interesting concept that works. It's just like being on a posh yacht. The location is excellent, the Ocean Village is a great location- lots of bars and resturants nearby. The staff amazing and drink / food prices were good. The pool water is cool, and they do add service charge to drinks etc. The breakfast is very tasty and plentiful.

I have to say that all the staff we dealt with were absolutely amazing they couldn't have been more polite, helpful, friendly and really nice, they truly made our day. The lunch was exceptional, so good, food was amazing. Thank you so much we've had a brilliant day x.

Arrived 11pm after a 7 hour road odyssey and were met by a warm, welcoming gentleman on Reception. Up to a very comfortable, clean but quirky room with see-through shower-toilet glass walls and hi-tech gadgets for lights and curtains. Great marina views.. Astonished that the spa hours are so limited (opens late and shuts at 8) and has only a sauna; no steam, no jacuzzi. Dining room was splendid with both staff and food proving to be really excellent. And the main point is that flaws in any hotel are easily forgiven if the service is excellent and there is no doubt that Sunborn staff are well trained and/or are happy in their jobs. Standout performance from the multilingual, multitasking Lamia on Reception. Splendid asset to the hotel. Really enjoyed our time in Sunborn. Great backdrop to return to on our wedding day!

Can't do boats due to sea sickness, this was the next best thing. Great fit out and something different from the usual hotel experience. Staff were nice and helpful, bar on the top deck was great and food was very good. Highly recommend

It is really is a 5 star hotel at a reasonable price, we were welcomed with drinks at the reception, got upgraded to a bigger suite when there was an issue with the room we had booked. Hotel had seven floors with different room types, had restaurants , bars and a pool (pool was closed at the time ) Situated in Ocean village , with many more bars and restaurants surrounding it. The view from our terrace was to die for . We only stayed one night but I would definitely be coming back for more. Service was also great

We have been here before so we knew what to expect. Rooms are lovely. Location is perfect. Easy walk to and from the airport and also to MainStreet. Staff are very professional but very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. So many excellent, well presented choices. Would highly recommend Sunborn Gibraltar

Lovely hotel, food and staff were exceptional. Room was lovely. Our only complaint was that the gym was directly above our 6th floor room and each morning we were woken @ 6am by people dropping free weights on the floor above.

Really nice place to stay. Gibraltar can be a bit pricey for not a lot. The Sunborn would be my choice every time for a stopover. Not budget but realistic in my opinion. Rooms are lovely. Well maintained and friendly professional staff. Quality food in the restaurants.

We had the most amazing experience on the 5 star Superyacht Hotel in Gibraltar. It was a 4 night stay. The Superior Bedroom was so classy. Food was 1st class - very high standard quality foods. We enjoyed every minute of it. The whole stay was an unforgettable experience. Thank you for making our stay on Sunborn so special and memorable 🥰❤️

Lovely place to stay, have a drink and eat. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a good shower room. I didn't give 5 stars because it was too warm and the air conditioning wasn't operating, but we kept the windows open all the time.

Absolutely amazing experience. 5star luxury. Rooms fabulous. Views amazing. Perfect location. Disappointing that la sala restaurant and bar area closed on Sunday and Monday as we stayed Saturday and Sunday nights but Barbary restaurant was amazing. Food and service fantastic Breakfast choice was great and good quality. First morning a bit slow asking for tea or coffee choice but otherwise service perfect Reception staff were so helpful. Cant wait to visit again. Wouldnt want to stay anywhere else on Gibraltar

The bathroom doesn't have a door. I don't get why, but make sure whomever you stay with here is someone who doesnt mind the awkwardness of that. There are (glass) doors at the shower and the toilet. The room is very 30-years-ago and reminds me of a set from Friends. The staff are all lovely and the location is great. There aren't that many hotels to stay at here. It's loud, you'll either get the casino next door on the weekends until 2am playing loud music or you'll get airplane roars from the runway next door. I've stayed at 5 star hotels before and this is definitely not one. It's not bad, but it's no Park Hyatt.

Just returned from a fabulous short break on Sunborn. From check in to check out the whole experience was 5*. The room was fabulous, overlooking the harbour and runway. The staff were very friendly and helpful, special mention to Jose and Lamia who went out of their way to make our trip extra special. The breakfast was substantial with plenty of choice and just what you needed to set you up for a day sight seeing. Great time had by all. Will definitely look at returning.

Staying here for a short break before we get married. Amazing floating hotel and super nice/polite staff. Fantastic location with very spacious rooms and nothing is too much trouble. Staying on a B & B basis and breakfast is superb Gary upgraded us on arrival so we have a view of marina which is lovely to wake up to.

Went tp deck for drink and view. July day and lovely weather. The pool outside is tiny and above ground but we'll used. Plenty of see sun bathing loungers and bar area . Views out to marina and the Rock. Staff friendly. Amazing looking hotel but we didn't stay as in area with friends.

A must do. Amazing service and experience. Located withing 5 minutes walk to local restaurants and bars, its a great experience. The service is beyond 5 star in my opinion so if you fancy a slightly different experience than a hotel, then you should consider this.

Superb hotel. Sumptuous clean rooms with an amazingly comfortable bed. One of the best breakfast buffets I have experienced. Kind, considerate staff, especially Ruben, Pablo and Mohamed on the 3rd level bar, perfect service. Clean, comfortable and highly recommended

Exceptional experience, we stayed just for 1 night but it was lovely. Staff were very kind and outgoing throughout our stay, the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was very nice. The pool is on the small side but this didn't detract from the experience; there aren't many places you can watch a plane take off while swimming 7 stories high above the marina!
