Ocean Village is a superb holiday location, confidently reached within 15 mins walk from the airport. A feel of exclusivity about the place. It feels like a mini Monte Carlo. A hive of activity with plenty of busy bars and restaurants, all within a short walk of most accommodation within the village. It’s also only 7-10 minute walk into town / Main Street - again littered with bars, restaurants and lovely shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our 16 nights there in July 2024. We walked everywhere as well as catching the bus. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.

Me and the family were here to pick up a boat and have the Dolphin adventure. I kid you not we had a fantastic time out in the bay watching pod's of Dolphins in their natural environment. If your In Gibraltar, I would highly recommend this experience. After we return to the Marina, We had Dinner in a fantastic restaurant on the water front called Bianca's food was fantastic, and with the added bonus of a 10% discount with our tickets from the Dolphin adventure. Very nice surprise. Thank you too everyone for the wonderful day.

We've been to Ocean Village about 5 times over the last 10 or so years. Lucy has been our contact and has always been so helpful, organised and welcoming, she really makes a difference, booking is stress-free and if anything comes up with the apartments she's easy to contact and quick to act. Gibraltar is a really interesting place - as the kids have got older it has become more enjoyable as there are so many places to see and things to do, the caves, the monkeys, the beaches, the Alameda zoological gardens (very beautiful but be careful on the uneven steps here!), shopping, tons of restaurants, siege tunnels, Moorish castle etc that it has been way more enjoyable to do with them now that they aren't just wanting to be in a pool all day! My Mum is from Gibraltar so it means a lot to us to visit and experience the place. The views from the Ocean Village apartment over the marina are really good - the higher the flat, obviously the more spectacular the view. We enjoy the modern marina with all the restaurants (Pizza Express & Wagamuma's were favourites, but I wouldn't recommend Las Iguanas, Ramsons was highly recommended but we ran out of time) and views over the sea. It's a mix of a city break with lots of sightseeing opportunities and a beach/pool break. The pools at Ocean Village are nice and well maintained, a little bit cold but that doesn't seem to bother the kids! (jacuzzis are warm). We went for the first time recently in about 6 years and noted that the place looks like it has had an upgrade, the casemates square and the area around Ocean Village, look painted, well-kept, neat and tidy. It's all relatively expensive - eating out and the shops aren't particularly cheap. It's worth having GBP cash as some taxis/shops only took that. We enjoyed the rock and got an online ticket for about 50 euros a head however we regretted not doing a taxi tour as walking/climbing steps (even with the cable car ride) in the heat was exhausting, with some of us feeling the effects of mild dehydration/heat stroke (this was mid-June). The caves are brilliant. All in all, it's worth a visit. Ocean Village is clean and tidy and the apartments are modern and well-stocked. Things can go wrong, as can happen anywhere, such as toilet and air con issues but Lucy always sorts things quick and efficiently. Worth a trip for a holiday that's different from the norm, with stunning views, lots to do and friendly people.

Ocean village is pretty much the most modern part of Gibraltar, a small maze of accommodation, restaurants, shops and boats. The area is home to the Sunborn yacht hotel. We spent a few nice nights around the marina, it’s ideal for people with anxiety about being out at night as everything is easily accessible, there are about 20 places to eat and drink, so you’ll never bore of the options. From pizza, to Thai and India, through to Tapas.

Nice luxurious part of the new marina that's not long been built. It's also the part of the island where you can buy tickets to go out on quite a large boat and see the 🐬 dolphins. We'll worth £20 per person, trust! Literally hundreds of them if not thousands all following the boat and showing off. Absolutely amazing experience...

Situated just inside the Gibraltar border, it's a pity you have to walk past some seriously drab buildings to get here. Dont be put off though this attractive bustling marina is packed with cafes, restaurants and even has a permenantly moored cruise ship as an hotel and casino. Great down to earth attmosphere.

Don’t let Gibraltar’s small size fool you into thinking is has nothing to offer. Ocean Village is one area filled with options and boat loads of restaurants and shops.

It was a lovely spot where supposedly all the beautiful people hung out, although I didn't see any. Lots of ugly, expensively dressed rich people.

The most busiest location in Gibraltar. There is a great choice of restaurants and whilst the pubs weren't the best, the area is well thought out and pleasant to walk about.

This place is a hive of activity, whether your after a cuppa or a pint from one of the numerous cafe bars on offer. You can bust a few bets in the casino or take a boat on a dolphin 🐬 tour. There's plenty to do down at the village, if your in the area come take a goosey gander pal!

Lots of restaurants, cafes, a village store, a casino, and the Sunborn (Super Yacht Hotel). All with a beautiful ocean view, meticulously clean, safe, welcoming, a price point for any wallet, and a venue for any traveler (single, families, young, and elderly).

Nice little place to go if you're in town on a cruise and short of time. Close enough to walk, plenty of restaurant to choose from and even a bit of plane spotting as they take off and come in to land on the nearby runway!

Great place with fantastic views. Plenty of respectable bars and eateries nearby whilst also being handy for Main Street and the bus station. Whilst there are also great pool facilities I have dropped a star as the additional flat charge of £15 per person is excessive considering it is one of the key attractions to Ocean Village.

We moored here after a long 1000nm crossing from Salerno, Italy. Excellent marina facilities and very helpful shore staff. The marina is undergoing some redevelopment but nothing that caused a disturbance. Very local to amenities and the Gibraltar town. Wasn't too expensive to berth here either, a pleasant surprise. Maybe could be noisy and hot in the summer months as close to bars etc and possible lack of air movement for a breeze if no AC down below.

Lovely location in Gibraltar, with restaurants built of wood on stilts over the sea at Ocean Village Marina. The sea is lit from below, giving a mesmerising view at night of the fish as they come into view when swimming above the lights.
