Awful; if I could give this place zero stars and drive it out of existence it would still feel like a burden to deal with the dismantling of this healthcare group. For my first visit I was told to arrive 30 minutes early since the group prefers for new patients to get there with adequate time to process insurance and whatnot. Understandable. An hour and half later, I was finally called into the room. The Nurse Practitioner, Callahan, was brief and spent at most 5 minutes going over personal anecdotes. She didn't even assess me! After getting my labs drawn, I had to call the office several times for them to be posted on their patient portal. Each time I have contacted their office, I am greeted with rude employees who convey inconvenience at my simplest requests. Furthermore, my school asks for certain immunizations each year. I called this business since it would be cheaper to go through my insurance than to walk-in at a CVS or Walgreens. After being told I needed special permission from the NP to allow such immunizations, I waited for a day to hear back. I was curtly told by the NP that she recommended Walgreens. Despite reiterating my need to get those shots at this clinic and not at Walgreens for financial reasons, the NP goes on to say that they do not give those immunizations at that location. I can understand if a facility has limited capabilities, but after having spoken to the MA and having a secretary acknowledge the services I was looking for, I was infuriated this NP, Helen Callahan, was lying. I have been in the healthcare business for over 15 years in a variety of capacities this group is the worst managed and staffed out of them all. Please do not go here. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone to address their healthcare needs at a place where lying and intolerance are the modus operandi.

Update to my review. I visited on a Saturday morning after a severe ankle sprain. No sooner than I finished the paperwork and turned it in did they call me back. They weren't busy, and there was no wait. Dr. Beals was very nice and took the time to both chat about my problem and was personally friendly. They got me in for x-rays, gave me the analysis, and I was able to get on my way, with peace of mind, soon after. All in all, everything you could hope for with a medical experience. My old review -- NOT in relation to this location, but Google transferred it. I visited the Carondelet clinic on the west side of I-10, on Silverbell (and Speedway, I think?). My review was in reference to a nurse practitioner by the name of Jean Feeley. That clinic no longer exists and google transferred my review to the Stone and River location. I have only been to that location once, and had a great experience (above). My old review is below. I think I may have had the same nurse practitioner referenced in another review. She was very rude, forced me to move my body in uncomfortable positions even though my back was suffering a spasm, and then didn't even ask me if I had any questions before she walked out. When I tried to tell her that I was in severe pain and that ibuprofen hadn't been effective she lectured me about the narcotic problem Tucson is having and said it wouldn't help with my pain anyway. Seriously?!? Narcotics don't help with pain?!? I realize there IS a narcotic problem, but I do not have one and I didn't appreciate being treated like a druggie. I've NEVER gotten into a fight with a doctor before (or really anyone!!!), and I've had some pretty bad doctors. This was a whole new level. DO NOT GO HERE.

I came to this clinic hoping to establish primary care and waited over two hours despite having made an appointment before I had to leave. The front desk staff was very rude about rescheduling my appointment for another day and acted inconvenienced. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and will be seeking care elsewhere.

I love this office. I changed Dr office for mother just recently and everyone at this office has been so friendly, informative and helpful. Dr. Pierce is always so personable and takes the time to make sure we understand what is going on with her medication, and over all health. Thank you each and everyone!!!

Wow, where to begin?? I was scheduled for an unnecessary appointment which I didn't know was unnecessary until I met with the doctor so I was charged for it. They wouldn't reverse the charges so I'm out the time and money spent for the visit. THEN, they didn't credit my bill for the co-pay that I paid at the time of the appointment. ALSO don't even think that you can cancel an appointment at their patient portal online as suggested in their recorded greeting. I tried that, canceled another appointment (not going back there at that point!) and I received a nasty letter letting me know that I missed an appointment and I should have canceled it. I called the office to try to clear it up and they're like...yeah...no, don't use the patient portal for appointments no matter what it seems like you can do. So, if you decide to go here, watch your wallet, keep your receipts, don't schedule appointments unless you know for sure you need them. Ask, ask and ask. Be very careful. Not easy to do when you're ill or have a loved one who is.

This was literally the absolute worst medical provider experience of my life and I've had the pleasure of living all over the world, having been treated by many doctors along the way. I'll never go back. She couldn't even make eye contact with me. I was made to feel like an inconvenience. I asked at the start of the appt for a referral to dermatology (long, personal history of skin cancer), she told me, "One issue at a time", after asking what brought me in today. At the end of the appt she literally got up and started walking out of the room. I had to yell to her, "Can I please get that referral?" She scoffed at me and asked, "For what?" I said, I need my regular cancer screening, she mumbled, "We'll do that later" and went into another patients room, shutting the door, leaving me sitting there perplexed by what had just happened...and still with no referral. It was weird and rude. Lucky for me, medical care isn't a monopoly, I can easily go elsewhere and I fully intend to. Do yourself a favor; go elsewhere too.

Loan is a good provider but if you question her in any way, she immediately becomes angry and indignant that you would dare. I just wanted to see my lab work results and man did I get it. The REAL issue is that she does not listen, she has a set dialogue about whatever condition you have and that’s it! I tried talking about my sciatica from failed back surgery and I was told to try tylonel and yoga. Her yoga instructor had a car accident and back pain and yoga helped him. I heard this story multiple times and how this should be enough for me too. Now to balance this review out, she did help me tremendously when I was very sick and was unhappy with my other providers recommendation to be hospitalized. Ultimately I left her and ended up with an incredible provider who listens, discusses how to manage any issues and has yet to yell at me.

Dr. Pierce listened to my concerns about knee pain- he did labs quickly and started treatment right away. He was friendly and professional. It is also easy to contact this clinic for appointments, and they give results via phone call very quickly. I definitely recommend this clinic!

We waited to see the provider for over an hour. A common theme after reading other reviews. My wife saw the nurse practitioner due to bad seasonal allergies with a history of asthma and she didn't even bother to listen to her lung sounds! In fact, the provider didn't assess her at all. She entered the room and basically asked what we wanted then suggested an over the counter antihistamine and left the room. Our total time with the provider was at most 2 minutes. I was honestly shocked at the level of care we received, what a waste of time! We will never come here again, instead it would have been more cost effective and time efficient to have talked to a cashier at a local drug store.

I've been seeing Dr. Purushotham for 3 years, she has been professional, knowledgeable and addressed every concern I have ever had with kindness. All referrals are put in immediately. She responds to all portal questions the same day.

I have been a patient at Riverstone for two years - I actually enjoy going to the clinic because I am always greeted with friendly smiles at the front desk and my appointments are on time. The medical assistants before and after meeting with the doctor are also very nice and attentive. Dr. Pierce is my new PCP and he really cares about me and is very knowledgeable. I also get prompt assistance when I have to call into the clinic with questions and need to schedule a referral to a specialist. With their help I was able to get an excellent dermatologist to monitor me every six months to guard against any repeat of melanoma in the future. Finally, it's a great location, very convenient!

Zero curiosity or empathy about my health issues. When faced with that unfortunate fact, like other reviewers, I asked for multiple referrals and was refused. Seek help elsewhere.

    1) When you call, it's usually a 15 min. wait until you speak to anyone. 2) The receptionists are very cold and hostile. 3) The nurse, lab workers, and billing folks have made several mistakes re: blood work and billing, which has cost me hours and months of time and effort to fix their errors. They are inefficient and arrogant. I should clarify: I love my doctor there, but I will likely not be going back due to the unpleasant and exhausting experiences I've had at this place for the past few years.

My original primary care provider moved away and I found Nurse Practioner Kerina Mariana soon after. She is amazing and very attentive. She always responds to my inquiries in a timely manner. I never have to wait in the lobby for more than 5 minutes to be taken back to an exam room and she always pops right in after her medical assistant is done with blood pressure and initial questions. Her bedside manner is superb and I really feel like she cares about my health and well being. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new heath care provider or if you are just looking for a provider who really cares. The front desk staff is always friendly and greet everyone with smiles as well, which I find as a bonus coming into the building. Thank you Carondelet!

My overall experience with my visit on 8/24/23 with Kathy Whitmore was wonderful. Starting with the front desk getting checked in is very smooth, her ma for this day was great. My overall experience with Kathy was very heart warming, and compassionate. I would never give her up as my provider.

😠 Check in was smooth and front desk staff nice. That's the only pleasant bit about this review. Sitting in exam room currently. Our appointment time was scheduled for 1.5 hours prior.
