I love art stores, being a student of many mediums and master of none, and I love The Art Store. It has enough of most mediums to keep me dabbling for some time to come. And NEW mediums to me, don't get me started! Keith Kendall, the owner, is a wonderful teacher and a very ready resource of everything Art. The website is a great place to start, the class roster is up, classes are ON!

Keith's knowledge of art and its supplies was very welcomed. I prefer to shop a local "mom and pop" store prior to hitting a commercial store or the internet, and this store and its owner did not disappoint. I was on a mission to pick up supplies for my son, and I have zero knowledge of the arts. I was very fortunate that Keith had enough knowledge for both of us and made me feel very comfortable.

Great staff. Kinda pricey but it's art gear. Staff helped me find a laundry list of stuff for yavapai classes.

This is why independent stores outshine chains. The owner and staff provide personal service over and beyond. Very knowledgeable about the products which is so helpful to the beginner to the professional artist. I drove 2 hours to come to this store because of a canvas shortage. The owner personally stretched some canvases for me. When I picked up the canvas I was interested in some new products and he was instrumental in helping me make my choice. Well worth the drive!!

I was a customer here since 2007, but I'm sick of hearing the owner talk about how he's better than everyone every time I shop. You can get your supplies much cheaper online anyways.
