Did not eat, but the cocktails were very good and the view between 17:30 and 19:00 was amazing. Seeing the sun go down with Bali mountains outline forming as it happens. Warning, between cocktails you may need to wait so order another as your half way through your first. 89k for 2 in happy hour

The best sunset point in the island as same as the best cocktails. Special Colada, Tiramisu and Madam Basil are perfect (yes, they’re mocktails but you can always add rum or vodka there) 😎 UPDATE: they finally opened the kitchen and this is one of the best pasta in the island : balanced flavor, perfect pesto and ITS PASTA not macaroni or what’s ever

Literally the best bar I’ve ever been! My first trip to Indonesia was last year and my friends suggested me to visit Gili Air as I would love it. Since then I’ve visited Gilis and My Happy Place three times. 😀 On my first night on the island I ended up here by accident and fell in love with the vibe, people, swings, drinks.. Music was also pretty good on that day (to all my techno lovers over there), but it varies depending on the day. Some days there’s live music too. My plan was going back to Bali but I ended up to spent 12 days here. It’s something in the air, you’ll see it once you go there. And please try some Espresso Martini - it’s the best in the world! Also Daiquiris with some fresh fruits are delicious. Highly recommended! 🌶️

My happy place is my place. The energy and the vibe. The passion fruit daiquiri was very good, and the sunset was fantastic. I loved the bar where the swings are. I'll come back to enjoy the pesto pasta I saw on another table, and it looked delicious. Sam is the best host!

I’m very fortunate that Gili Air is becoming like a second home for holidays and My Happy Place is the mothership where strangers come and meet and leave as family thanks to the amazing staff and owner Sam. From solo travellers to groups come together and enjoy the beautiful sunsets over happy hour cocktails on beanbags before enjoying the live music and epic tunes until the last man is standing! Think I’ve had every cocktail on the menu by now chatting away on the swings that surround the bar. Looking forward to checking out the food from the new restaurant on my next visit as had a few sample tasters on last visit. Make sure to get your compulsory photo with the happy place Lion before you leave!

If 2-for-1 cocktails for 69k doesn't tickle your fancy, then perhaps the dragon fruit mojito will?!... see if Eros is working as he's the Mojito God 🙏 Chill on the beach, or in the bar, they can organise food for you and let you play some of your fav music.

Stopped here for 1 drink during happy hour last night. Ended up staying for 3 hours chatting the house down with the staff. The cocktails were awesome and if you are lucky enough to meet Eros and aufa while you are there they may even let you write some wisdom on the bar. Was a pleasure, Thanks again boys

We came here two nights in a row and will be back during our stay in Gili Air. The barman is lovely. He made lovely cocktails and mocktails all while singing on the guitar too. Best drinks in Gili Air. Lovely at sunset too!!

Had a great time sat on the bean bags, sipping cheap tasty cocktails watching sunset. Definitely recommend the dragonfruit mojito, and the lime daiquiri 😁🙏

Really friendly service and a great view. Not sure the cocktails had much/any alcohol in them though. Seems to be the case for a lot of 2 for 1 places

Amazing music! We had the wings, chicken wrap, and bruchetta for food. Amazing lychee cocktail, pineapple daiquiri and dragonfruit mojito by Eros. Sam sung so well and made the vibe super chill! I would come back a million times.

What can I say? Simply wonderful atmosphere and amazing barman skills from Eros, improvised music by Ompong a true showman. I'm in love with the happy place ☺️❤️

We came here to eat on the strength of the Google reviews but Google really let us down this time! The location is great, but the cocktails were tasteless and the food... let me tell you about the food. My youngest ordered a pizza, but when it arrived it was actually a mini pizza 6" across. The menu did not say this. The menu also said mozzarella. It wasn't mozzarella. But wait, here's the best bit, it wasn't a nice, rich, Italian-inspired tomato sauce on the pizza it was TOMATO KETCHUP. ON A PIZZA. He still ate it, probably because he's five. My eldest had a burger and fries. The burger seemed fine but there were only 9 fries. I had burrito. At least, I ORDERED a burrito. What came (×2) was what looked like a poppadom folded in half with some chicken inside it. Can you guess what was drizzled all over the outside of the poppadom? It was tomato ketchup. And mayonnaise. My wife had some vegetarian fried rice, which she said was "fine". It's a real shame, because this is such a beautiful spot to watch the sun go down, and the beanbags on the beach are lovely, but they really need to get someone who can cook better than my kids' primary school class (and mix cocktails, but the primary school hasn't got to those lessons yet).

This is an amazing bar, such a cool vibe and great value for cocktails. The main barman (eros) is one of the nicest human beings it’s been my pleasure to meet. And Sam, the guy who owns the place, is a force of nature, and also a wonderful human being. Cannot recommend this bar and all of gilli Air enough, absolute Paradise.

One of the best places in the island! We have tried nachos and pesto pasta it was just amazing! Cocktails are incredible as well. Thank you for the atmosphere and the best sunset 🌇
