What a delight. Great food and amazing prices. The owner/cook puts so much love and detail into his food; you can tell it's a passion. The food was all made fresh from local ingredients and cooked in plain view. He also offers free cooking lessons in the morning to come watch him prepare his recipes that have been in his family for generations. The best authentic Indonesian food I've had so far. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Freshly prepared traditional Indonesian dishes that are served in a Instagram worthy arrangement. Unfortunately they were out of a lot ingredients when we were there, which out a damper on lunch, but what we had was good enough to recommend it to others. It’s a nice environment, too. We enjoyed the coral hangings. Be aware however that there is only one cook so it takes a long time to get your food. Not good for groups of four or more. Also they forgot to bring us a side, so maybe some patience is needed to eat here. Just gently remind them if you ordered something and don’t see it ☻

Our favorite restaurant! If you’re in Gili Air you NEED to try Dharma’s place. I’ve never tasted anything like this before. We went there three days in a row for lunch and dinner and even fought over the last Chicken Lalapan of the day! The Tempe is to die for and I still dream about the Curry. Dharma and his staff are excellent, so welcoming and friendly. He even explained and showed us how he cooks the meals and let us try new recipes. They also do cooking classes in the morning but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to enjoy one. Highly recommended!!

Fabulous food with amazing prices. This place is very welcoming and has casual vibes. Owner is extremely lovely. Delicious home cooked flavours . All items freshly cooked when orders are taken so it may be a tiny bit of a wait but it’s worth it.

This was by far the best meal I had on Gili Air. When we arrived, there was nobody else there aside from the 2 boys who quickly attended to us and took our order. From there they sprang into action and put together our delicious orders of chicken lalapan in what we perceived to be a very timely manner. They were apologising for taking so long, but honestly it didn't feel that long and it was so worth it. The food is well presented, perfectly seasoned and plentiful. We also had a visit from a very cute little kitty who just wanted to play and didn't beg for food. These boys are doing a great job, and deserve all the support they can get. Make sure you pay them a visit when you go to Gili Air. It's far better than the mediocre tourist fare you'll find on the beach.

Delicious authentic food, very warm and attentive service, and very reasonably priced! We had the chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce, yellow chicken curry, and seafood mi goreng. Everything was delicious, but the satay skewers might be the best we’ve ever had!

The atmosphere is awesome, service is friendly and kind. Definitely feels like a luxury meal full of beautiful presentation and great food. But the prices are still great! We went back for Breakfast after heading for dinner the previous night.

Best indonesian food in our trip. Best mie goreng you will try in your life. Try the special with seafood. Try the Gado Gado, try everything! Incredible for vegetarian also! Plus you can use his pool while waiting :)

Had the seafood migoreng and chicken migoreng. And pineapple juice. Staff so friendly! The tastiest noodles, fresh veg and the perfect amount of chilli. Highly recommend if you’re on Gili Air to visit this great warung with the smiling and friendly owner! Thankyou, from Australia

Amazing experience. My kids loved it. The people are super nice and welcoming. The food is delicious in a relaxed and clean environment. We asked Mie goreng, curry and some boiled rice with simple chicken for my baby. We all left there super happy. From all the places on the island I would highly recommend this one :) plus as a place to park the bicycles in front, so they don’t need to be out on the street

Friendly owner and great food. The food takes a while to prepare but it's fresh and worth the wait. The reason for 4 stars is because of the inconsistencies in menu. For example, the menu says chicken satay is 5 pieces but it came with 3. Pics show it varying. It's okay though, the food is still good, traditional, and affordable.

OMG this is heaven. Best food we ate during our 23 days holiday on Bali, Flores, Lombok and Gili. Give this man a Michelin star!!!

Great Warung. Fair prices. Nasi Campur was delicious, as was the Soto Ayam. Only thing is; if you want to order appetizer and later main dish, order 2 times, ‘cause I got them at the same time. We only had to wait about 20 min, didn’t feel (too) long. I could watch them cooking all night long!

A must try when in Gili Air!!! When I saw the five stars rating, I didn’t believe it at first. The guy is so passionate about the way he cooks. He even offer to teach me how to cook Indonesian food. To tell you how this guy takes his cooking seriously, he cracked in egg for my fried rice but the white got mixed with the egg yolks so he cracked another one so it look so perfect and he told me don’t worry we will eat it! I didn’t want him to do that but this to make his food presentation look awesome 👏🏼 we had the chicken curry and fried rice with chicken, and it was the best Indonesian food we had in our life!! Again if you come to Gili Air you must visit this place !!!!
