One of the only downfalls is the close proximity to the Mosque. This mosque caters for the entire island and therefore the prayer call is EXTREMELY loud. Not good at 5AM when hungover but it is understandable. Facilities are of a good standard, breakfast is a nice touch. Communal area is fantastic and atmosphere is also good. Difficult to join groups when they're formed but as people come and go becomes less of a clique. Private room was well above average. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

100% my favourite hostel in Gili. I bounced around a few hostels that called themselves party hostels, but this was the one with genuine good vibes, cheap drink & lovely people (love you all, Jess, Ryan, Leo, Neill etc) A great place to stay to make friends and memories for a lifetime. Plus rooms are being upgraded so worth a look!

Great staff. Beautiful setup with the pool and climbing wall right by the bar. The atmosphere was amazing here, great people from all around the world. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on Gilli T. Highly recommend staying there if you want to meet great people and have a good time!

Great hostel. Really social and the ideal place to stay if you want to have a good time. The staff were great and definitely aided in the having fun part. Highly recommend.

Location is close enough to the pier that you can walk and avoid using the poor ponies that aren't looked after well enough. There is a sports bar close by called the Cave which is basically brand new and the food is class! The hostel is also close to all the night clubs etc on the main street. Rooms of 3 which is different from the usual 4+. The beds were comfy, good storage. We had an issue with our A/C not working well and they sorted it out within a day which was so good, made a massive difference for our sleep! There are 2-3 hot showers and then 1-2 cold shower room, with a toilet in each one. Pool has a rock climbing wall which is so fun and a nice sitting area covered from the sun if you need to get some shade. Also bean bags for sunbathing but there are only around 6 so gotta be quick. Drinks and food are so cheap with a great happy hour! Staff are so friendly and helpful, always up for a laugh and a chat. Would definitely recommend staying here for Gili T island!

Excellent rooms with great air-conditioning. The pool is nice and there's tons of fun social activities every single night to get involved with if u want to.

Very cheap rooms. Such a fun vibe here. Good location. Lovely people, made so many friends. Also, you gotta dive off the wall when you get there. First high dive I ever did and it was awesome! 😁

This hostel was super fun and quirky, it had a great sociable, communal area, yummy drinks, a fab pool, and most importantly wonderful, friendly staff. Muji was particularly my friends and I’s favourite as he made us feel so welcomed, always smiling and making us laugh, and made sure we were taken care of with drinks at the bar, and sorting out the boat party :) we will deffo be back here!

10/10 can only recommend. It's a really sociable hostel which is great when you are a solo traveler. The rooms are clean and the staff is so nice. (ps. thanks for the shot)

By far the most fun hostel i have stayed at so far. The beds are comfy and there is ac in the rooms which is all that you need. Super cheap prices and nice staff. Definitely more for a young party crowd. Do not expect to get a relaxing stay there, but the perfect place if you want to have fun with travelers from all over the world.

The hostel is very fun and full of young people so amazing for making friends. The pool is big and there’s also a climbing frame and diving boards. There’s also a bar on site. The rooms and very dark and feel unclean, and ordering food takes over 2 hours to arrive.

Cannot recommend this place enough! I have to shout out Joe who works there, he was the most helpful guy ever. All of the staff were extremely friendly & a shoutout to Jess for being so wonderful. Amazing atmosphere and so great to make friends with fun activities and nights out. Thanks for making my time so great. The bar is fantastic and it’s located in a perfect location with easy bike rental facilities just outside. I had the best few days here. Joe, Jess and the Gili Castle Team, thank you again!

Great hostel! 👍 Cool climbing wall, swimming pool and bar area. The laundry service that is across the street, 15m north of the hostel did loose my laundry. I’d guess it’s a rare occurrence but in case losing your laundry would be a huge issue for you then try somewhere else.

Awesome group running the place. Muji, yade, Ryan, Gracie, absolutely adore them, they're enough of a reason to stay again. Definitely going to be missing this place

If you’re looking for a party hostel, this is THE place to be. It delivers on the very definition of party hostel. The staff are great at organising super fun nights and the Sunday pool parties are so much fun.

Such a great hostel! It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the bars and clubs 5-10 minutes. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the prices for drinks are pretty cheap. Pre drinks here are a great way to socialize and make friends, I had the best time here!

Great hostel! Rooms are nice and clean. It has an amazing pool with a nice bar. Located near the main street. All the staff is fantastic and really friendly and helpful. Specially Napan, thanks for everything, it was a pleasure to share with you. Will definitly come back and recommend!

Nice hostel with a good party in the evening. The pool is really nice with jumping platforms and a rock climbing wall. Beds are comfy and they have hot showers too. Would definitely stay here again :)

Gilly castle was by far, the best party hostel I’ve come across in my 6 month stint of travelling. On the island this place was the best at partying, having some of the most friendliest people on the planet. An unbelievable set up with bar, pool (crazy rock climbing and diving) chill out spots that made it really easy to socialise and then also kick back and relax. Perfectly located as well, The atmosphere was vibey and pretty chilled during the day and then picked up at night. Made some friends for life, Defo a no brainier when in gilly T you’ve got to stay at Gilly Castle!! hope to be back very soon.

Amazing hostel if you want to get to know new people and go out during night. Is well located on the east side of the Island. If you are more looking for rest you should go and find another place. Staff is friendly and all speak good English.

Nice enough hostel. Rooms were fairly cheap, reception staff and bar were very helpful and friendly. The AC in the rooms could probably be due a service or replacement as they worked, but not that great. The climbing wall was a lot of fun. The only downsides I have was that the pool could do with a clean as there tended to be a lot of debris in the pool during the several nights we were there. Also apparently there were a couple of reps at the hostel? They never introduced themselves, there was also no events on at all during the week we were there, so I am honestly confused to what the point in having the reps was?

Great hostel, super sociable! They can order in lovely and cheap food for you. The team are so friendly and helpful! Really recommend this place. The showers are hot. Love staying here. Only thing I think the AC could be stronger in room 1. Gets a little warm in the sun.

Gili Castle is a great hostel! The atmosphere is party party so it attracts a great fun crowd. Good music, cheap drinks and really nice staff. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but clean. Great for what you need on Gili T. Solo travelers will definitely meet a great group. We travelled on with our group to three more places in Bali :)

It was really dirty and not comfy at all. Didn’t feel good at this place. If you wanna make Party and don’t put emphasize on a clean environment, this is actually for you. Only cold water And the bed sheets smelled bad. The sister hostel was better, rather go there ;)

Nice hostel, good food if you are lazy and don't wanna go out to order. Also good and cheap drinks at happy hour. Facilities are not the cleanest and toiletpaper is not always where you need it. But you could ask at the reception to get some. Nice pool and great common area for the beginning of a fun night. Would recommend it if you want to get to know new people and don't mind the facilities.

Stayed here just one night when we were on Gili T. Rooms are small but they have AC and a safe. The beds were super comfy, and the single blanket was actually perfect for the climate, I slept incredibly well. The free welcome Bintangs were a perfect way to meet people and we ended up spending the whole night with other hostel guests! A great spot to party, the pool is awesome, and the location is perfect. Bathrooms are clean, cold water only and no toilet paper, but pretty standard for the islands. Walls are a little thin so earplugs may be best to avoid the 5am mosque chants and other party goers.

Wow, we spent 3 nights here and had the BEST time, super super friendly staff, social hostel, good vibes if you’re up for partying and socialising - I cannot recommend enough!! They helped us arrange snorkelling trips and hired cheap bikes, social things going on every night and everyone was so so friendly, wish we could have stayed longer!!
