The Park family is great and they run excellent classes. All my kids are enrolled there, with three approaching black belt. The teachers are great with kids and are very patient, and the kids learn a lot! They provide plenty of tools you can use at home to reinforce character qualities and physical fitness.

We’re so glad we chose Park’s Yong In Martial Arts for our son. He started in their tiny tigers program and is now about to earn his black belt. The staff here is top notch and so caring. Our son has learned to be more responsible, speak a little in Korean, and has overcome his fear of public speaking. He is more confident and self aware. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time there!

Our daughter's experience in going from white belt to Black Belt at PYMA has been an incredibly impactful journey. By learning and gaining appreciation for the world of martial arts, under these specific instructors and in this specific, positive environment, she has humbly gained strength, responsibility and confidence in both mind and body. PYMA is truly a supportive community where she was comfortable enough to make mistakes, try again, and learn persistence. We are so grateful to the Park family for setting the bar high and supporting along the way through their steadfast encouragement, kindness, and authenticity.

My journey with Park's Yong In Martial Arts began in September 2020. I became interested in joining after my brother, who has been a member of this dojang here in O’Fallon since December 2018, highly recommended it. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Black Belt Club and receiving guidance from respected instructors such as Master Andrew, Master Mindy, and Master Park. One of the highlights of my time here was participating in a tournament in Chicago, where I had the opportunity to compete with talented kids from various parts of the state. I was honored to receive medals for my performances in board breaking and forms. Throughout the last three years, I have dedicated myself to working hard and reaching the level of a black belt. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my training for the next six months in order to earn my Korean black belt certification. Additionally, I am committed to completing my single nunchuck testing. I eagerly anticipate the next six months of my Taekwondo journey, as I continue to grow and develop in this discipline. Sincerely, L.M.L

My grandson has been enrolled since 2018 and I highly recommend this Martial Arts Studio. The entire Parks family are extremely patient, kind and helpful. They have taught him such more than tae kwon do. The parents night out and summer camps are a big hit. My grandson will soon get his black belt and I am so proud of him and all of the support the Parks family has given him. Parks Yong in Martial Arts is the best place.

My son started Taekwondo at Park's Yong when he was 6 years old as a Tiny Tiger. He will test for his Black Belt in a couple weeks. This journey has been such a great experience for him. He's gained confidence, discipline, skills, made friends and has had so much fun. The staff is amazing. We are so thankful for everything they taught him.

My son started Tae Kwon Do as a Tiny Tiger. He has learned so much about the art of Tae Kwon Do (not only the physical aspects such as strength, agility, and flexibility, but also about mental focus, discipline, respect, and teamwork). Everyone at PYMA has been welcoming and has encouraged my son with positive energy. I also noticed that lessons at PYMA are precise. Compared to other martial arts schools, I recognized a big difference in my son’s posture and forms when he began at PYMA. The instructors at PYMA are very professional and all seem to appreciate the traditions of Korean martial arts. Making practices enjoyable while not losing sight of the traditions and values of Tae Kwon Do is the magic that PYMA has brought for my son. It has allowed him to be self-motivated, to give his best, and to improve every day. We feel lucky to have joined PYMA for his journey to his black belt.

I've attended this school for 6 1/2 years, and every year has been an adventure. I can still remember when I learned my first form and learned the basic courtesies of Tae Kwon Do. I could never forget those moments even now when I'm almost a 2nd degree black belt. I've learned life lessons, self defense, forms, and even basic Korean terminology. This school has shaped me as a person and as a friend. I've made friends, mistakes, and achievements. This Dojang is a wonderful experience for anyone who wants to experience the world of martial arts!
