Beautiful pet friendly hotel in an amazing location! We stopped here on our cross country PA to CA trek. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! The bathroom layout could be little inconvenient for anyone traveling with their children or someone other than their significance other, but it wasn't a huge issue for us (but some might find it an issue). The arch is within walking distance (a beautiful walk too).

I was skeptic to stay here based on other reviews but I am glad I did not listen to those negative reviews. This hotel was amazing. I have no complaints! Everything about this hotel was great. Parking was easy. Hotel room was large and clean. Check in and out was easy and quick. Location was amazing (I was in town for a cardinals game). Would definitely recommend this hotel. *TIP - save yourself 10 bucks and do self park. It’s right across the street and if you pay for valet that’s where they park your car anyways.

First, let me say the staff was very friendly and welcoming! The room was decent upon walking in, however upon further inspection, there was some kind of food stain on the chair. There was blood stains on the bed spread and the carpet was frayed. My family did not get any sleep both nights we stayed due to people outside doing burn outs on the street below. A car with a loud muffler drove by several times till 3:00 in the morning. This is not the hotel's fault, but frustrating nonetheless. Great location to all things downtown if you can overlook the things listed above.

Great location to go to the ballgame. Nice handicapped room. But that's about it. Abolutely no way to eat anything here for breakfast. The restaurant wasn't open. There wasn't even any courtesy coffee. For a stay of over $400, this place won't get our business again. The amenities are lacking for such an inflated price. The parking fee is huge as well. We don't recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night to attend a concert at Ball Park Village. This hotel was perfect for this event. Our room was clean and ready as soon as we arrived even though we arrived about 30 minutes before our check in time. The staff were welcoming and incredibly friendly. Joel was amazing. He got us checked in quickly, upgraded our room, and gave us vouchers for a FREE drink or appetizer. The hotel was right across the street from Busch Stadium and a short walk from Ball Park Village. The FREE WiFi was fast. The bed was comfortable. No need dongles because there were plenty of USB ports in the room for charging devices. Parking was $50 for valet or $40 for self parking in a flat, guarded lot across the street. If you're attending something at Busch stadium and don't want to hassle with parking or traffic, I'd recommend staying here. My rating: BEST

The hotel itself is very nice. Some staff is attentive. Valet parking staff is very helpful and profesional. The only problems we had were that you had to argue for a water bottle. We would call and they would either say they didn’t have any,or that you would have to pay for them. Some staff, would give us complimentary water bottles but some at the front desk would say that we had to buy them for 5 dollars a pop. Second problem we had was that we were never informed that housekeeping is upon request, so our room did not get cleaned. Aside from those issues, nice hotel!

I very rarely write negative reviews, but this is one of the worst hotels that I have stayed at for larger group accommodations. I used this hotel with others visiting for a wedding. Over the course of multiple days, front desk staff was repeatedly rude to people within the wedding and, at best, unresponsive for routine group event questions. The front desk staff was difficult to get in touch with throughout the day during normal business hours - people within the group would call the front desk for help and receive no response. When someone within the party tried to approach the desk with questions, the person was told to have other people within the party call about the issue. It was frustrating for the group to be redirected multiple times during time-sensitive plans. Separately from our party, I encountered another wedding group experiencing similar frustrations the same weekend (but with the addition of people being wrongfully checked in to occupied rooms). Overall, this was a negative stay, and I do not recommend it for larger groups visiting. It is overpriced compared to other places in the area with more amenities. While there is food on site and a bar for entertaining, it was out of stock of multiple food and drink options. Our friend group ended up eating elsewhere. Altogether, this was a poor value. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. The location near the Metro was convenient. If you are a solo traveler, this could work, but do not bank on this hotel helping take care of your larger group event.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The only thing good was walk across street to bush stadium. I paid $800.00 for two nights. Thanks too we can get you the best deal booking for me! The shower was mildew musty mold smell. With mildew around the shower. I took pictures. Gross. The one sink would drain. But very very slow. I took pictures. The toilet would not flush. But never ran over. Parking is $40.00 a night. But game nights. If you leave and come back. Too bad. You don't have a spot to park in. Because they contract the lots out. For $25.00 a spot. To everyone going to the games. I will never stay here again. Plus the manager was supposed to get in contact with me about everything. And yes never heard nothing from her. And all I got was two queen beds to sleep in and all the above I listed for $800.00 two nights.

The sheets didn't fit the bed and no extra blankets either. Check-in was after 4, even though early check-in requested. I understand that is not always possible though. The valet area is a very cramped space. On the good side, Bed was comfortable. Room was nice. Nice bar and no driving necessary to enjoy the downtown area. Located directly across from the stadium. Bar has a happy hour. Friendly staff.

The bathroom was nice and spacious, the bed was good, the lobby looked nice BUT, the room carpet was dirty, the bar in the lobby was closed and they wouldn’t bring a microwave to the room! We had to go to the hallway and warm up food we brought from the outside. The property was beautiful but it needs a lot of improvement and maintenance. The downtown area was lonely, the area around the Hilton a few blocks down has more stuff open and things going on.

Came here due to a work event. Thought the place was really nice, clean and spacious and the front desk people even nicer. I stayed here for almost a week. I really didn't require any house cleaning so I can't comment on that. The location is great as it's right next to the metro and right across the street from Busch Stadium and ballpark village. Many options here to eat! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Staff is friendly and helpful, but the rooms are tired (carpet fraying all along the walls in mine), and- biggest issue!- there was a bottle of personal lubricant left on the floor beside the bed in plain view which does not EXACTLY make one feel great about how clean the hotel must be! To be fair, that situation was handled very quickly, and I appreciated it, but that's a big enough "yikes" to make me avoid this hotel and recommend my employers scratch it from their list for business travel.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Westin St. Louis. We enjoyed our stay there but accidentally left behind a black dress wrapped in a clear plastic bag hanging in the closet. I contacted the hotel repeatedly but received no good news and conflicting information about when our room was cleaned. While I truly appreciate the effort made by the hotel staff to locate this dress, based on the information they give me, I can only believe a housekeeping staff member took it home. As I asked the hotel earnestly and politely to continue to help us locate the dress, they stopped replying. This dress not only is worth a fair amount of money but also means a lot to us emotionally, and I am very frustrated by this response.

Stopped here for the night on our way to Chicago and we loved this hotel. We got a great deal through AMEX and it was well worth the stay. The building had a very cool vibe to it. The rooms were very spacious with very nice bathrooms. It's also conveniently located near Busch Stadium and a short walk from the Gateway Arch National Park. If the pricing is reasonable, we look forward to stopping here on our trips back and forth to Chicago.

Stayed the night 6/8/22, first of all the valet guy had the best attitude. Super polite and just hustling. Front desk staff was very polite as well, very personable. Entire building was spotless and our room was flawless. Marble floors in the bathroom, very large room and a nice view if St. Louis Stadium. My 8 year old stared at the view till he fell asleep. Didn't get a drink but the bar was jamin for a Wednesday!

The front desk agent Joel was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and easy to work with. I specially liked how knowledgeable he was at answering my questions. The room was beautiful, we really enjoyed the shower and bath. Did not eat at the hotel because the location had lots of options near by.

Ac didn’t work in room. Internet didn’t work. Called the front desk three times. Was told someone was coming. No one showed up. Asked for towels. None were brought. The WORST experience I’ve had at a hotel in at Louis.

I think as of my recent stay in Nov 2023 they must have new Mgmt. Everyone was attentive and concerned if I had a good stay. They got the bill right, which hasn't happened in a while - I stay here a lot due to the great location. It's close to everything. I recommend it. Very comfortable rooms and QUIET!

This was the hotel we chose for our wedding block. After a month and a half of repeated attempts, we’ve been unable to get anyone to correct our overcharge. Our contact was initially responsive but has not replied to our last 3 contacts. Additionally, our welcome bags were not handed out to a significant portion of our guests, and when we checked in there was confusion about if it was one welcome bag per room or person, so clearly communication did not occur among staff.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Not only did they double charge and not give me my money back. The room was falling apart. I couldn’t believe how filthy this 4 star hotel was. The staff stole all of my clothes while I was away spending time with my child. Management have made no efforts to find my things or even keep in contact with me. I did not even sleep in my room the night of my stay due to fear of someone breaking in while I slept. I feel completely violated. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment. I will never stay at any Westin hotel ever again.

Location is great! Close to our event, and Busch stadium. The hotel overall needs a revamp. Our room smelt like musty old cigarettes. Carpet looked dingy and dirty. Mattress was comfortable but didn’t have a mattress cover on it which was a bit concerning. I think this place has great potential, but it definitely needs some renovations and cleaning.

If you are sensitive to sound while you sleep, request a room in what I think is called the Executive building, away from the metro. The location is fantastic. The room was fine, but I never got requested room service and the air conditioning unit was weak. I am thankful the mounted shampoo and conditioner had the label where they could be read because they had soy protein in them and I am allergic.

We got married here in September. Megan was our initial wedding coordinator, and we would go weeks without responses to important questions. Even missed a 0% interest offer on my credit card because I reached out to make a large payment, and she took over a month to get back to me. Mona took over as our coordinator closer to the day-of and although she was much better, no light could shine bright enough to make up for the 12 months of sitting in the dark waiting for responses. We never received our free night in the honeymoon suite, and for some reason my mother-in-law was upgraded to the honeymoon suite for the entirety of her stay at no extra cost? Crazy that her room was 10x nicer than ours. The banquet staff dropped the ball on several important details, but they had a positive attitude and made sure our guests were taken care of. The steak was worth the upgrade! The wedding food, location and positive staff were the only highlights of our stay. I can guarantee that the restaurant is hemorrhaging money. We were the only guests both times we went, and still got poor service from the staff.

Traveling through and stopped here for the night. Andre at the front desk was exceptionally nice and welcoming. I was upgraded and this room did not disappoint! Super great location, cool view of the ball park, service-oriented staff. Will stay again.

My wife and I went to St Louis to watch Saturday and Sundays Rockies versus Cardinals game. It was very convenient to take the metro from the airport, to Weston and then across the street to the ballpark. We had a very very large room and really enjoyed our stay. During the game, they stored our luggage until we picked it up and took the Metro back to the airport

The staff was friendly and helpful. However the costs for the room is totally for convenience. Had to carry our own bags without a cart, booked 6 months in advance and were put over in the Annex on 6th St. A bar was on the corner and they played music until 3 am. We got little sleep. Called for a different room early but told we had to stay out until the next day. Nothing was ever offered and no apologies given. If this had been a last minute reservation I would have understood. But 6 months in advance we expected better accommodations. Won’t stay there again. Way overpriced!!

I was kinda taken aback that the Westin clerk at the front desk had no idea that the car rental place is right in front of their building. He was not helpful at all. We didn't stay here. But they are near the Baseball Busch Stadium and St.Louis Cardinals Team Store. My Tip:When you work for a hotel chain do know certain places just in case someone asks for directions. Saying I don't know is not helpful. Like a car rental!!

Great place to stay the weekend! Little pricey for what it is,but will stay again! The staff were incredible, polite, helpful and just good people. Breakfast was really good!

Hotel was in a fantastic location. Rooms were very nice. Bed was incredibly comfortable which is always my biggest pet peeve when they are not. Staff was helpful. We ate dinner at the in-hotel restaurant and ordered room service for breakfast. The food was delicious. The one criticism I have is we were in a King room in the corner of the hotel. The room felt very stagnant with the fan on high and the AC set as low as 67°. The windows cannot be opened so there is no way to get an air current in the room. It was in the 70s outside and the direct sunlight and heat was basically heating up the room from behind the curtains. Opening the curtains would’ve only exacerbated the problem. I’m not one to get claustrophobic, but the stagnant air and discomfort from feeling hot in the room was severe enough I had to go downstairs and stand outside for about 20 minutes. Once I returned to the room, I felt okay for the remainder of our stay that morning until check out. Def still recommend the hotel for the location, amenities, comfy beds, food, and hospitality.

I never do a review unless it’s positive given the times but for the amount of money I paid for one night here this place was garbage. I bragged to my wife how awesome it is and I am legitimately let down because it was part of her birthday gift and she’s disgusted. The only reason its getting 1 star is because the staff was nice. I stayed here years ago and it was way better now it’s literally falling apart. I went to try and open a cabinet in the bathroom to see if they left us some shampoo(we only had soap and lotion) and the door literally fell off which tells me it happens often. The thermostat is set at 60 but it feels like it’s 82 with no air flow. The last straw was when I noticed they put a sheet over the mattress instead of a fitted sheet. Even the worst motel on the side of the highway would put a fitted sheet on their mattresses. Will never be staying here again and advise anyone else to opt for the lesser rated hotels because it can’t be worse than this and you will save hundreds. Trust me don’t come here.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. Read the other reviews mentioning billing. People have consistently been billed incorrectly and management refuses to correct it or respond. Update 7/1: It's been over two weeks since my initial contact over phone with a manager at Westin. On 6/19 I followed up with an email because I had a feeling something wasn't right. She responded two days later on 6/21 saying the amount was refunded and would take 3-5 business days. I finally see a refund for $47.76 on 6/29 which doesn't equal anything on the bill. I've contacted another rep for clarification and help but we'll see if anything changes. Next step after is to contact corporate and then maybe the BBB? The accounting guy also never called me back. Original post: A billing nightmare. The hotel and stay were fine but being overcharged $250 has pretty much overshadowed my entire stay. I stayed five nights with government rate and was tax exempt. They applied the tax exemption on 3 of the 5 nights. Then they charged me valet parking and taxes on 4 nights when I didn't have a car. Inconsistent shady charges. I'm on day two of trying to get it fixed and need to submit my expense report by the end of the week. Spoke to a manager on day 1 and she said she would have it fixed by the morning with the new adjusted bill emailed out to me. That hasn't happened. I tried calling again today, front desk put me on hold 6 times without greeting (I heard a click and then silence) and I was finally told all the managers were in a meeting. I asked if I could speak to anyone else about a billing error, they transferred me to accounting who also didn't pick up. I have never been to a hotel where you had to jump through hoops to get them to correct their own mistake. Definitely going to warn my coworkers to steer clear, not worth the headache.

Rooms were great as well as the Westin Club for breakfast. The evening reception in Westin Club Lounge was one of the worst I have gone too. Food selection was bad and the facility that night needed a good cleaning.

Spent a few nights here recently. The service was very good, but the rooms were dark and ultimately quite dated. Food in the restaurants was mediocre, and downtown STL is pretty dead so few walking distance options for food. I rather try other properties next time I visit St Louis.

Let's face it the only reason to stay here is location. In typical Marriott fashion didn't miss a beat to cut corners, never told there was no make up service in the morning, nor were we told this at checkin. The Club barely had much to offer for breakfast. Room was a nice size, no idea if I was upgraded, as I was just handed keys at the front desk. It's all about location.

  • 2/5 Kendon M. 1 year ago on Google
We booked and stayed at the Westin one night as we were passing through. Location is convenient. Was told Breakfast was included. It wasn’t. Valet staff was helpful. Front desk staff was and unhelpful. In our room, the phone was broken; the fridge was broken; the windows and exterior walls are poorly insulated. We slept very little. There was a group of people riding 4 wheeler/ATVs around the the hotel in the middle of the night that kept everyone in our room up for hours. When we brought it to the front desk staff’s attention, they were rude and apathetic, suggesting that it is loud outside downtown overnight, and that it was to be expected. For the price, I would expect better service and accommodations. We will stay elsewhere next time.

Location was ideal, right next to the stadium and downtown. The staff was very nice and helpful during our stay. But the room we stayed in had a water leak in the ceiling at about 3am and the ceiling showed signs of this leak and repair from previous attempts to fix the problem. Yet they still rented the room knowing of the problem.

Worst Hotel Stay Ever!!!! First the bad, so you won't overlook it. My wife, 7 year old , and I got ZERO sleep. That's not an exaggeration! Our room was in the smaller building facing 9th street and there is a Sports Bar on the corner of 9th and Spruce that stays open till 3 am. Which is not the end of the world, but apparently, it's popular for the locals to do burnouts and rev their car engines in front of there. I'm a car guy, so I know cars, and these were extremely loud, like they have open exhaust. They did this till after 3 am. Then, apparently, it's also popular to lay on your car horn, nonstop, as your leaving the bar. Then there was also the normal young bar crowd screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs outside all night. We stayed two nights and this happened both nights and the second night this went on tIll after 5 am. The car exhaust noise also echoes off the tall buildings so it's popular for people to rev their engines for blocks all around and that is pretty much non stop at night too. The good. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. The room itself was good enough. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I didn't like the down pillows that squish flat after a short time. The property is located close to a lot of things, so that was nice. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again due to the noise, but hey, if you will be out partying till early morning, this would probably be great for you.

Leaving a 1 star review because this is about the 5th time I have stayed at this hotel this year where they 100% ran out of water. As a Marriott Ambassador that stays here 20 times a year it's just not ok to run out. Not one bottle of water in the exec lounge, the front desk, the fitness center or anywhere. It's not a one off.... this place is always out of water. Easy fix. Maybe they will someday.

We made a reservation in August to stay here this weekend in November. The reservation was for 4 people with 2 queen beds. We get there tonight & they’ve given our room away & now our only option is no room, 4 people sharing 1 king sized bed, or pay for another, separate room at the same price. You think they’d give us a free room considering this reservation has been made months in advance, but NOPE. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Do not stay here at risk of them giving your room away!!!

  • 4/5 Aaron S. 1 year ago on Google
Let's be honest, downtown St. Louis isn't exactly the nicest of places. Outside, after dark is not a recommended place to be. But the hotel accommodations and rooms are on par with what you'd expect for a Westin. The bar and menu offerings are very good. And the rooms with the heavenly beds and showers are exceptional.

  • 5/5 Jade M. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed overnight for a ballgame, location couldn't be better or more convenient. Right across the street from the stadium. Parking was a little tricky, given they had little space to work with and the hotel was completely booked bc of the game. But the vallets handled it like the pros they are! Room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was awesome! Tub AND shower! I don't recommend if your a light sleeper however, especially if the Cardinals win that night. The celebration goes on well into the night. Definitely hope to stay again sometime!
