A little hole in the wall in an out of the way strip mall. My kind of place! Very good food, plenty of it and the price was right. Well staffed and excellent service. Will definitely return. Solid 4 ⭐

Fast pace dinner environment but well worth the hustle and bustle. The food taste exquisite and the portion sizes are just right. Staff is friendly. They have a spice level, which is nice. Great prices. Recommend!

Great food, great price. I enjoyed how great of a deal the lunch special is. The miso soup is great, the spring rolls are crunchy, and the spring roll sauce is fantastic! I decided with one of the crab stick rolls and the spicy tuna, both of which were rolled beautifully and had decent sushi rice. I will definitely be back.

I had never really given Thai food a chance, and I'm so glad I did! I went with the drunken noodles with pork, and it was delicious! We got the chicken satay and fried dumplings as appetizers, and they were amazing as well! 10/10, I'll be eating here again!

Sunday and a little hung over. Needed some comfort in my life. Get to searching and came across this little hidden gem. Quaint little place with modern decor an a traditional touch of ancient relics on the walls. Open kitchen format. I could view who was back there and with a Cambodian wife I know the older generations hold the most delicious recipes. I was excited. Beef Jerky was amazing. Slight dip into some Sriracha and crisp lettuce hit right! Edamame came extra salty which I prefer. Crying Tiger was real good with the sauce. Lobster sushi roll was nicely done. Lobster drunken noodles looked amazing but before I could grab a bite my better half covered it in crushed red pepper and that's not my cup of tea. The service was very comforting and super respectful with a courteous bow of respect everytime something was dropped off. Very appreciative of that. I have so many more things to try. I will see you soon!

Soooooo good. We live 1.7 miles away and had no idea it was here until a neighbor suggested it tonight. Service is outstanding. Highly recommend the fried tofu and duck curry.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I've been coming here for a year to pick up takeout and to eat in. The dish is flavorful and incredibly excellent. Every time, the meal is served really quickly. Excellent cuisine; the entire menu is worth sampling, but the curry and pad thai are my personal favorites. Good hospitality is shown. Friendly staff provides excellent client service. Love getting takeout or a quick bite here. Unquestionably a fantastic spot for Thai food.

Great food! Hospitality is great. Staff is friendly, great customer service. Love coming here for a quick bite! I recommend the pad Thai (your choice of protein or plain) with medium spice. Also recommend the eel and avocado roll. Lots of parking spaces, more then enough.

Today was my very first time trying Zen, and I love it. Zen checks all the boxes: Delicious food: check Friendly staff: check Good prices: check Clean place: check (someone cleans the table almost the instant a customer walks away) I ordered the Spicy Basil (I asked, first, if it was pad ka pow - it is.) It's delicious. I went with spice level 3. Next time, I'm doing level 4. It was preceeded by some miso soup and tiny vegetable rolls. All delicious. Staff are very friendly, and offer great suggestions. My bill was very affordable. I'm definitely coming back, some day.

Being a keen fan of Thai food, I have tried many Thai restaurants in the region. Zen Thai & Japanese is always what I come back too. Great food, and in true Asian culture, they serve you quickly and quietly UNLESS you want to talk and then you will find them all so very friendly and willing to converse. They are now moving into a nicer building and I can't wait to see how great things will be there!

Did not expect a place that offers two different cuisine types to be excellent at either one, but they are. I got sushi (Zen roll) and it was the best sushi I've had in the St Louis region. It was even better than the sushi I used to get when I lived in Seattle where there are tons of sushi restaurants. Can not wait to go back here.

We picked those place for it's amazing reviews, but were a bit disappointed. We had pad Thai, katsu, and the kids had fried rice and it was all fine, but certainly not 5 star worthy. Service was quick and the prices were awesome, but overall it was a neutral experience.

I had fried sushi rolls they were fantastic. My husband had the Tom yum soup at a Level 2 But they were very heavy handed with the spice, they had to redo it because it was so spicy. He said it was much better after they remained it less spicy.

Great food, I've visited Thailand myself and haven't been able to find traditional Thai Hot Pad Thai before coming here. Plus the sushi is great. Water glasses never went below half. Excellent service, can't wait to go back.

Amazing Thai food. The red curry is solid but level 5 is quite spicy ! Sushi only if you must, the Thai is what you come for !!

The food was really good. I always try out every Thai restaurant when I get the chance, and this one ranks pretty high on my list. Everything I ordered was good, but I tried my wife's curry and it was outstanding! I will definitely go back the next time I am in the area!

Just fantastic sushi and Thai food. I work two doubles each week, and some weeks I order out. This week I ordered from Zen Thai. I ordered the Philadelphia Roll, Zen Roll, and vegetable tempura for Thursday night. On Friday night I reheated salmon katsu, a bit of rice, a side of Panang curry sauce, steamed veggies, and Tom Kha soup with tofu. Both meals were delicious. Undoubtedly, though, the best part was the incredibly soft, almost buttery salmon in the Philadelphia Roll. The quality was astounding, especially considering the very reasonable price! I wish I'd thought to get pictures of the salmon katsu meal, but was reheating things while working. I reheated the salmon katsu in the oven and microwaved the rest. That katsu sauce is phenomenal!

I really liked how the quality of the food was. Very fresh. Very well presented. Taste was on point. I didnt want to cook tonight and wanted some comfort food. So me and my husband wanted to try this new place out and its a winner!!! You can tell how good this place is with the constant to go orders and people coming in to eat! I definitely would recommend it!

I order from here quite a lot from doordash because their food is really great. But I am no longer ordering from here because they have been skimping me on my rice for a long time. Cool, that’s fine, I’ll cook more. But now they’ve been skimping me on my curry as well.

The quality has gone way down hill. My Previously treasured Massaman Curry had VERY little potatoes or chicken, it was mostly nasty crunchy outer onion, disgusting. My children’s Pad Thai had rotten scallions in it, completely brown and smelled funkier than usual. Very disappointing.

Disappointed, the food was very bland. I ordered the spicy basil dish with chicken. The chicken had zero flavor, and there was no heat factor at all. The staff were super nice though!
