We knew from the very second we walked in to the Brentmoor that this was the place we wanted our parents to live. We were greeted immediately by staff and residents. Max Oppenheimer gave us the tour of the building, and went over everything with great enthusiasm. Max worked with us with setting up for the arrival of our parents and truly went above and beyond to accommodate our family needs. Once there they were welcomed with open arms by the staff and many residents. Their adjustment time for the move was accelerated because of the way the staff takes care of their residents. I do not mean a select few but the entire staff!!! Things could have not gone better with the transition. Our parents are very happy living there, partake in many of the daily activities that are posted, making new friends and are really enjoying themselves. I feel great knowing that we made a wonderful choice in choosing the Brentmoor for our parents retirement community.

My mom has been here for a couple of years and feels very at home with the staff and the residents. She enjoys the meals and the planned activities and feels safe and cared for. We appreciate the staffs attention to detail and extra helping hand offered when needed.

My friend has been a resident since mid January and I visit quite often. Her one bedroom apartment is beautiful, with an amazing amount of closets. The staff are wonderful, caring and helpful. The meals are delicious and the wait staff are very attentive. My friend is very happy that she moved to the Brentmoor.

My parents moved out of their home of 55 years into the Brentmoor and never looked back. They really love it. They made new friends and reconnected with others they haven't seen for years. As a visiting child who comes in a few times of year I've found the staff warm and friendly. Even better, they not only remember from visit to visit but they also fill me in little stories about my parents. Not unimportant, the kitchen staff is very accommodating to our special dietary concerns. My parents' apartment affords them plenty of room and doesn't even feel too crowded when all the kids and grandkids are there. But it is the little porch that we all love the most. Sitting there looking out over St. Louis at sunset is a real delight.

The Brentmoor is a well run, well maintained senior community that is personable, friendly, and has a down to earth environment with the feel of a luxury apartment building. There are numerous daily activities offered, on-site PT and a beauty shop. On day one, my parents began making friends and easily transitioned into the Brentmoor culture. My family couldn't be happier with our decision. I highly recommend the Brentmoor to anyone looking for a senior community run by passionate and caring professionals.

My mother has been living at The Brentmoor for many years. She has, and continues to have a very good experience. She has friends, attends planned activities, participates in resident meetings, plays cards, utilizes the driving service for outings, and has a good relationship with the staff. She's very happy living there. The building is older and has recently seemed to need a lot of maintenance and the staff seem to turn over without warning or explanation. These things are not entirely unexpected in the situation, and The Brentmoor keeps bouncing back. It's a good place.

I have a work opportunity at The Brentmoor 2 days each week. I am not an employee nor am I a Resident. Onsite Care Management began there in January, 2023 @ 8 hours per week along with other key Resident services. I see The Brentmoor as a true gem; it is, I believe, a quality representation of what living as an older person should be. I have stepped into an environment that has a dream team; their philosophy of caring, respect and creativity is obvious. There is an element of joy perceived throughout the Residence. Residents seem comfortable, content and happy. Their menu of activities and gratuities is extensive. The Brentmoor would be a place that I would consider for living out my life as an older person.

The staff truly cares about their residents and they provide the best care. I have never seen staff that treat residents as if they were family, but here they do. I have worked in the senior community field for over 12 years. I have knowledge of many of the communities in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The Brentmoor is a special place that supports and engages their Residents. I follow them on Facebook and enjoy the many pictures of the activities – exercises – musical entertainment – games or parties. I have attended many events, lunches and happy hours at The Brentmoor. Each event always includes the Residents. When talking with the Residents you get a feel for their comfort and social engagement. The Administration and CarePartners at the Brentmoor are always pleasant. They take time for a smile or conversation. The Brentmoor is must to visit when looking for next steps in senior living.

I own Oasis Senior Advisors, a local franchised placement service, and recommend the Brentmoor whole heartedly. My clients loves the warmth of the residents and staff. When I take a tour of the community residents often stop to tell us how much they love living at the Brentmoor. Their pricing is reasonable, food is great, apartments nice sized with great views and more importantly it feels like home.

I love working with the folks at The Brentmoor! Everyone I have worked with at The Brentmoor has been very friendly and professional, not only with me, but with potential future residents as well as current residents, their families/guests, and professionals when I have attended events for professionals. Their Executive Director, Maureen Magrath, and their Director of Marketing, Max Oppenheimer, understand the senior market and listen to their individual needs and work to accommodate all of their needs without false promises. I love to see what they have on their Activity Calendar. They always have very interesting things planned, including planned outings. They have always been very willing to host any of the professional meetings whenever I have needed a host site. I also love how they will refer to other communities (competitors) if they are full and/or if they are not the "right fit" for the potential future resident. They "get" that a community cannot be a fit for every person 100% of the time, but for the people they can admit, they will do very well by. The Brentmoor's long term success proves it!

Excellent facility, caring staff, great partners and friends

We could not have picked a better place for my mom to live than the Brentmoor. She has parkinsons and needs assisted living support and the Brentmoor nursing community has been there to help my mom with her daily needs. They are kind and considerate and are extremely knowledgable about her medication management, which is critical to Parkinson's patients. The overall management staff of the Brentmoor was professional and beyond accommodating for us and we feel apart of their family, which has my mom on cloud 9 there!!! We couldn't be more pleased with the services and support that this community provides.

The staff here is amazing. Max is so passionate about his work. His energy is contagious . Alicia and Jasmine in the dining room were very accommodating for Mr. F first day there to make sure that he sat with someone that would make him feel more than welcome . My parents have been living here for several years. They were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable from the beginning. The apartment is just the right size for them. The activities are varied, stimulating but not over planned. Holidays and special occasions are celebrated evenly for all. The flexibility of dining with others or choosing to cook in their own kitchen is a good balance. The staff are very friendly, helpful, courteous, and experienced with accommodating this special population. The different services made available makes it possible for them to maintain their independent life style. This move was a good choice for my parents. As adult children living in town as well as out of town, we have a good feel of confidence in their well being. Thank you to the Brentmoor!

The Brentmoor is outstanding! My mother found it and decided it was the perfect place for her. They welcomed her (and her dog) with open arms. The staff helped with her move in so many ways. They were professional, kind, and smiled -- especially when I couldn't. They helped keep her focused and worked with me (behind the scenes) to deliver a smooth transition. She's settled in nicely and her apartment is lovely. Very spacious when compared to other communities. Also of note, the food is excellent, the residents are exceptionally friendly, and the place is spotless. I highly recommend.

Brentmoor Assisted Living on the 2nd floor is always short staffed Evening Shift. After my orientation I was left to work alone to care for 13 Residents on my weekend. I always go above and beyond to help others. Coming in on off days,etc. I understand that will go unnoticed to a D.O.N that doesn't know how to turn her ghetto off & uses profanity in the presence of the Residents. Staff can document and verbally relay a Resident symptoms and it's always oh they been like that or they're always like that. The place is nothing like I thought it would be. They only care about the Residents during the Day time Mon-Fri.

This Senior Living Community sets the bar! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating on all levels. They truly care about their residents! They often host events for the residents and families with a food spread that tastes like "the best restaurant" in town, thanks to their own personal chef! Great place to move Mom or Dad!
