The car buying experience was the best I've ever had at Poage Chevrolet in Wentzville, MO. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. Overall, a great experience! Brett Cobb was one of the best knowledgeable salesman I've ever dealt with in all of my experiences. Brett listened to our needs and was committed to sell us something that fit our budget and our utilization. He's very professional and wants his buyers to have a great buying experience. For these reasons Poage Chevrolet and Brett Cobb will be getting all of our business going forward. If you are looking for a great experience I strongly recommend you stop by Poage Chevrolet and ask for Brett Cobb! Thank you Poage and Brett for a great and painless buying experience!!! Kirk B.

Our salewoman Carolyn Roderick was amazing. It took almost three months for our vehicle to arrive and she was informative all the way through. The purchase was a surprise to my wife and Mrs. Roderick had the big red bow on the car that made it extra special. We really appreciated her.

I dropped my vehicle off for an oil change and tire rotation through the night drop. The next call I received was my vehicle was done. I was never consulted on oil options, and according to my Chevy app i am due for spark plugs and a transfer case fluid change. I was never called and offered these options. I would expect a dealership would be more proactive with preventive maintenance or at the very least for the sale of a service. I will say the staff was nice and the process was efficient for what I received.

Joey was an excellent help. He had a great conversation with me and my parents and was able to answer all my first time buyer questions. Cory was originally my sales rep. from the beginning and he made the process of having the right requirements prior to purchase very easy. Everyone loved the truck and I hope to return to stl someday to continue working with Joey and Cory. Very informative all around.

This dealership and the people who work there are outstanding. If they say something you can count on it. Our salesman was Cory and I have recommended him and Poage to family and friends. Very good experience.

I had the pleasure of working with Brett, our Salesman at the Chevy Dealership, and I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional service he provided. From the moment I walked in, Brett's dedication to understanding my needs and preferences was evident. He took the time to listen, ask insightful questions, and truly cared about finding the perfect vehicle for me. What stood out the most was Brett's genuine commitment to ensuring I made the right choice. He didn't push for a quick sale; instead, he guided me through the process, patiently addressing all my concerns and questions. His knowledge of Chevy vehicles was impressive, and he provided valuable insights that helped me make an informed decision. But what truly sets Brett apart is his authentic and caring approach. In an industry where many are solely focused on making a sale, Brett's priority was my satisfaction and peace of mind. He went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable and confident in my purchase. I don't typically leave reviews, but when you encounter someone like Brett, it's impossible not to acknowledge their exceptional service. Brett, thank you for your dedication, honesty, and genuine concern for your customers. You've set a high standard for what a car-buying experience should be, and I'm incredibly grateful for your assistance. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Chevy vehicle to seek out Brett at this dealership. He's a true asset to the team

I appreciate Poage respecting my time as a customer. I had a specific appointment time, arrived ~10 minutes prior. Simple oil/filter change, tire rotation, multi-point inspection on our 2018 Duramax. Was back on the road in under 45 minutes all in. I have been to other dealers where they have either been totally unprepared for the specific services I requested, or to show for my appointment time for basic, scheduled services and sit for hours. THANK YOU TEAM POAGE!!!

I work for GM Wentzville and have my service done on my company car there. I tried to make an appointment several times and the dates were always too far out, when I did make an appointment the morning of the appointment I went to leave my keys and there was no envelopes for Poage at gate 3 safety - only for a dealership in Troy so I didn't know what to do (too early to call) then no one contacted me from Poage to see why I didn't leave the keys - I called and instead of telling me to bring the keys up front they told me "oh you could have written Poage on the envelope and it would have been fine" now you will have to make another appointment which was for 3 weeks later - not good

I only use this dealership for service because it is close to my location. First negative item about this location is when I was looking to buy a car they asked me to put down a $1000 for them to even look for me a car. BIG red flag!! I went elsewhere! 2nd negative item about this location is I took my car in for work while it was under warranty and it took less than a hour and half. Recently I took my car in for the SAME dashboard error, not under warranty anymore, and I was there for over 3 hrs. Parts total was $44.29 and labor $449.50. They told me they did something different this time. Paperwork reads almost the same. I was told it would be an hour & half, possibly 2 hrs. It would have been nice if they came out at 2 hrs to tell me it would take longer. NEVER DID! I talked to 2 people about my bill (one being Kevin, service manager, I believe) and he didn't have a good reason for anything. He pretty much was speechless and just starred at me. Terrible service!! Interesting fact I was told that when a car is worked on under warranty they are "allotted" a certain time frame to get the job done but when not under warranty they take longer. Seems like that explains my bill for the labor!!! BE AWARE of this location for anything !!!

Overall, Poage Chevrolet has been amazing to work with during my purchase of the 2024 Trax RS. During my main introduction with Sales Professional Cory Johnson, I reached out online to discuss the 2024 Trax that were in stock and a timeframe to visit for a test drive. When I arrived later that day Cory had the vehicle waiting for my significant other and I to view, test drive, and soon to fall in love with compared to the other brands we test drove. Cory didn't make any part of the process feel like a sales pitch, including the trade in. We almost spoke more about our mutual interests than the vehicle itself, which I appreciated, as I was very familiar going into the purchase with the vehicle after watching a host of reviews online. I think he caught wind of that early on and rode with it like a great salesman should. He continually included my better half in the conversation which made them feel very welcomed during the experience. The ONLY reason I hesitated to give them a full five stars is the financing portion. Although I am very happy with the purchase and ultimately agreed to the final numbers, I was not made aware of the overall cost of the extended warranties and such until almost signing what seemed like the final page. After a bit of hesitation and mathematical reasoning on my own, I agreed to a portion of the extended warranties, but not all that I had previously agreed to. The financing portion was more about the monthly payment and not the total cost of ownership. Where interest rates are currently (above 5%), this can get the best of a consumer in any industry. I felt this was a bit deceptive as you truly don't realize the principal and interest you're paying on the warranties until the overall picture is presented on the last page. I would tend to believe most, if not all, dealerships present the extended warranties in a similar fashion. So, I can't hold them accountable for this nor will I name the financing agent due to this reason. At the end of the day, I am happy with the purchase and would utilize Poage in the future. Maybe being a novice with car buying got the best of me, but I don't hold them accountable for anything less than an overall wonderful experience, especially from Cory.

Carolyn & Steve both were professional and honest as they hooked me up on an unbelievable deal. No pressure as they were attentive and understanding of my needs in such a tough market. I will plan on using this dealership for all my future needs and future cars. I’ll be back. Thank you all for making my purchase a pleasant experience.

This was the recommended shop my insurance sent me to after hitting a deer with my interceptor. There was little communication as to progress and when my car would be repaired until I got the call that it was done. Upon arrival I noticed that my brush guard on the front rocks back and fourth now which I brought up to management, they replied that "that's just the way the brackets fit" (it wasn't loose when I brought it in). He then told me that he could strap a 2x4 to the brackets to stabilize it, which is not a real solution. Since when do we fix metal frames with lumber? I also noted that I was now missing two of my custom valve stem covers were missing, to which he told me that they may be on the tech's desk and he was gone for the day, the manager said he'd call me if he found them (never called). After leaving that conversation frustrated, I went and got my keys, once I got in the vehicle I noticed that one of the lights that is supposed to be in the headlight housing was just left in the back seat, wiring harness and all. one week later my car overheats on the highway, I open the hood to reveal that the radiator tank was empty showing that there's now a leak in the radiator somewhere that was not there before. As I looked through to find the source of the leak, I noticed that the intake manifold was missing bolts and not correctly reinstalled and the housing frame that supports the newly replaced headlight was cracked still and never replaced which compromised the structural integrity of the front end, also everything from the grill and mounts was put in off center and crooked. There are multiple other issues that obviously were ignored and overlooked. Over all I am VERY unhappy and frustrated. Had this happened to an elderly person or someone incapable of observing it, this would be even more unethical than it already is. 0/10 I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone!

Everyone at the dealership was wonderful and inviting, but I personally worked with Joey and he made the process so easy. He made sure I was in the right car for me and that I was completely satisfied. I will always send everyone to him!

I've got to tell everyone one about poage Chevrolet, I have bought quite a few cars over the years and I have had many good experiences BUT none better than this experience NONE, I've even went from St.Peters down to the chevy power house Jim Butler and trust me they are not even close to the team at poage. So thank you to the real chevy power house and their outstanding team, Highly recommend this dealership for all your vehicle needs

I bought my truck from them. Service till then had been fine. I called to check price match on a new set of tires per the ad I had received. The tech kept blowing me off and assured me the cost was cheaper with the rebate from them. I even asked for them to check we had the correct size tires. Hours after I dropped it off they call to say they didn't know my truck was a full ton and they didn't have tires for it and couldn't match the price. After the manager was involved he confirmed we could do the price I had from someone else. When I went to check out it was much more. They did come off the bill some but not to the amount I could have got them from at another location. I still don't understand how when I got the truck from that location they wouldn't know how large the truck was and didn't check when I asked them to twice to confirm.

I have pre ordered a Camaro 3lt 4 months ago and was waiting for my order to be picked up by gm which never happened. I was going through chevy’s website to check Camaro availability in nearby dealerships and found a 2ss with mostly similar build to my 3lt order. I called Poage and Carolyn helped me with my purchase. No markups and no extra packages were forced on me. They offered me all their packages and options and they were ok if I took nothing extra. Great team and great experience.

Cory's professional and congenial personality put me at ease during the car shopping experience. Throughout the entire process, from the initial phone inquiry, to the test drive, to the paperwork and online registration and finally, the explanation of the car's features and functions, he was exceedingly patient and knowledgeable.

First, I want to say that Corey Johnson (saleman) did a fantastic job with handling my situation. On Saturday, I purchased a pre owned 2019 Silverado and by Monday I wanted to return it. Too many issues that I felt this is not what I paid for. It needed an inspection so I told them too look at the transmission issue as well. When my vehicle was ready to be picked up, I went up there around 4pm and to the cashier department noticed on the paperwork that it didn’t mention any issues regarding the transmission. I immediately went to Corey and told them they should have noticed it right away. We both jump in the truck and before we got on the highway, the truck was shifting gears while not hitting the gas. As we get on the highway it got worse. When we got back Corey went to his Service Manager was told that it needed a transmission flush. That’s when I was frustrated because it seemed like they were just trying to put a bandage over a bigger issues. A truck that only had 35000 miles on it needed a transmission flush to fix the hard shifting???? They told me to bring it in the next day to get it looked at so I made an appointment. When I left the dealership that Monday I got home and was hearing a noise “clicking” sounds under the dashboard. At this point I was done. I texted Corey with a video of another issue and within minutes he called me and we discussed that it was best to return the truck. I explained to him that Im not looking for a used one and I have no intention of leaving as long as we can find me a truck on the lot. After, our discussion I am in a new 2022 Duramax LTZ and couldn’t be happier. Thank you Corey!

My vehicle was towed to the location on Wednesday, March 16th after a "reduced engine power" light appeared in the dashboard and the vehicle had stalled in the middle of the road. A very dangerous situation!! Other warning lights were also on - engine light, brakes and ABS. I was told two problems had been identified: 1) ABS/Brake light on - faulty Electronic Brake Control Module 2) Reduced engine power - "corroded" wire in harness Repairs: 1) Replace module 2) Bypass corroded wire in harness The vehicle was repaired at a cost of just under $1000. It was available for pickup on the following Tuesday, but I was unable to pick it up until the next day - Wednesday, March 23rd. No dashboard warning lights were on and the car seemed to run fine. I was relieved. However, just over 48 hours later, late Friday afternoon, the engine light came on. This is very frustrating as I just spent a lot of money to have the vehicle repaired. This means I will once again have to have the vehicle looked at and at the very least be inconvenienced for needing to bring it back... and at most? I guess we'll see how they address the issue.

I highly recommend Joey Vassallo and Poage Chevrolet. Joey V is very professional and answered all our questions. He went up and above our expectations to make sure we were well taken care of. Hands down the best and easiest experience we ever had trading in a vehicle. Poage Chevrolet in Wentzville is the place to go folks!

Found pieces of vehicle on floorboard from repair. Also was surprised about the rise of prices for an oil change. It was never communicated and I didn’t know until I was at the cashier window. When I asked a service rep about the price I was told “try jiffy lube, they are $100”. Never been treated so unprofessional in my life.

Went into the dealership to verify what service was needed for the car I purchased preowned in the spring, service writer was friendly and honest , told me to come in the following Monday and said we are wide open next week, get up on Monday morning get there at 7 am and got checked in when I told him I was gonna wait he said I can’t get the car in until 1130, on my initial visit i told him I had to work at 12???? I told him I could bring it back and was told they are booked for three weeks??? This is a nice dealership that I looked forward to using for maintenance, with a good staff, but unfortunately I am going to have my car serviced elsewhere, and I am sure well before 3 weeks for basic service. I am not going to trash this dealership with a 1 or 2 star rating, mistakes happen, but for me I’m going to go with an option closer to work rather than home then if takes all day to get an oil change then it’s no big deal
