Great weekend getaway from Hyderabad. One can experience a trekking which is about 30min approx with couple of excavation zones and inclined slopes. Get a beautiful view of the ananthagiri from the watch tower at top view point. Recommended to carry your needs such water and food as you won't get stalls nearby. You can find good number dhabas on the way to kottapalli reservoir. You won't be disappointed with food options you get at these dhabas. Good for family and office/friends outings.

Nice place to trek. The trek is almost 2kms from parking. They charge around 20rs per head at the parking and 10rs per head at the watch tower. The view from the Tower is worth trekking a bit. You can also find a small stream of water while trekking. Overall good experience ☺

Perfect place to in weekends,Just 100 KM from Hyderabad

An amazing place to visit. One could visit here through one of the 2 trails near the hill. The trail that starts near the temple is walkable. The tourism department even seems to be paving a drivable path, unsure when it might be completed. The other trail is a decent hiking trail from the Forest Department checkpost entrance. The views of the hills, trees, fields and villages from the top of the view point tower are beautiful. The cool breeze makes the experience even better.

Good place for long with friends. Water fall are in rainy 🌧️ season only but good place for spending time and relax to mind fresh.

The view from the top of the watch tower is all worth it, for your trek.

If you are planning to visit this place the best time would be around the post rainy season when the trees and grasses are all lush green and it's not too damp so that you skid while you go to the view point. It's not worth the effort that you make for this view if you live in Hyderabad. Pros : Among limited getaways from Hyderabad, ~80 KMs Drive Cons : Poor public facilities available. It's not commercial even finding good snacks place near this area is tough.

Place is good for nice hike and spend weekends camping with frends try to go on rainy season it will be more fun as whole place covered with greenery .and try to take necessary beverages from home as the shops there they charge lot extra .
