More show than substance is how I would sum up Can Roca, but what a fantastic show. I had a superb evening, but did I have an incredible meal with some of the best flavours in the world? No, not even close. If you enjoy the theatrics of Michelin dining this is the restaurant for you. If you want flavours that blow your mind (in a joyous way) I would choose another venue. I am glad I went but would never go back. The wine pairing was disastrous. It tried so hard to be different it failed to please or compliment the food. The tasting / degustación menu was self indulgent. Every course was designed to showcase the chefs popularity over the years but most did not actually deliver. The staff were attentive and wonderful. All that said, don’t listen to my review, try it for yourself, that’s the joy of fine dining.

This is my 2nd visit to the restaurant since 2019 and how I am very impressed with a totally new menu or they might have thoughtfully changed out the classics which I’ve tried to this. My first trip in from Barcelona was with a car and we stayed the night after dinner. This time, we took a train in and found it very effortless to get to the restaurant for lunch. The walk from the station was very pleasant and we stopped by the festive market at the square before heading in close to lunch hour. Though, without spending the night, we were not able to experience the rest of Girona which I enjoyed thoroughly on my first trip here. The venue is gorgeous to basked in the natural daylight and weather was beautiful - sunny and cool in early November. A detour and day trip out of Barcelona I recommend a foodie who enjoys fine dining, service and a tale behind every creation. We took the full menu at euro280, a little too much food for me but totally enjoyable 🤍

Amazing! what an experience of sense and creativity, it was beautiful. we took the large tasting menu - great choice to try the variety of dishes! The service was good, the team was attentive. I appreciated that they spoke in English with me (considering that my whole table spoke Spanish except me). Joan Roca came out to greet all the tables after the meal, it was very nice of him to meet and greet. it was my birthday, they made a small birthday cake for me. Thanks El Celler de Can Roca!

Incredible service and a great experience, but the style and flavour of a good portion of the 30 odd courses feels a little dated. Some awesome dishes throughout, regardless, but many dishes had a handful of great elements and then a few I was indifferent to. Given the style of cooking here, you're left with only a mouthful or two of those great elements. Service was great, staff were helpful, etc.

It took me a month to write a review for this amazing dinner. It was a 4 hour fine dining and without exaggeration we were experiencing an art show, everything was so beautiful and creative, the best thing we did was to take the pairing wine menu, so we were not only enjoying the delicious food but also tasting many unique wines which are not available in the market (20 types totally), the taste of food and wine are really fulfilling each other and we got the most of it. With the efforts of the chefs for each dish, the sophistication in every detail and the professional services, I think the price for this amazing dinner is very reasonable. We were able to take a photo with Joan and received a gift with their signatures on it. It’s truly amazing!

A once in a lifetime dinner with amazing 30 different bites and dishes. Very good wine pairing. We had the 'Feast menu' and really enjoyed it. Relaxing and fun atmosphere. Only one little detail didn't live up to our expectations. After we placed our coffee order they forgot to stop by with the sweets trolley and just put some pralines in front of us. While they were stopping at the tables next to us. After that, the service disappeared and, after waiting for a while, we had to stop a waiter to ask for our check. Not the perfect ending, but overall, a great dinner.

The beautiful environment, flawless service and elaborated and sophisticated food. But we all agree that there was not a dish that you just can’t forget about it. That’s why for the whole experience I gave 4 stars. We chose the menu festival, it was too much food, maybe the shorter one would be better. From 1pm to 5:30pm we had the whole menu then we moved to the yard to have coffee and fresh air.

I had my best birthday dinner in Girona. A romantic dinner at this beautiful restaurant will be one you will never forget. The weather, timing, and delicious food were all perfect. The Roca brothers' excellent performance and various presentations using seafood were enough to get us excited. If I were to choose the most impressive moment during my trip to Spain, I would choose this restaurant next to Sagrada Familia. I highly recommend you visit. Hurry up and make your reservation.

Obviously it’s was a great experience, however, our expectations were so high (as it was at some point the best of the best at some point) that we feel it’s no longer at the previous level. Pretty much everything was excellent as you could expect of this kind of a restaurant but there were some details that made us think that the best era for can roca has already passed. We noticed some of the details that should not happen in the top restaurant. Trays for cutlery were very deteriorated, we had some stains on the place mats in front os us. At the end of the service we felt like half of the staff already left and it wasn’t like at the beginning of the service. Another point you might notice it os not as hard to get a reservation as it used to be. As far as the food, we were satisfied but there were plates that did not hit our palate ;) we are also hoping that one of the brothers would approach us and talk to us a bit, but all we got was brief ‘hola’ as he was walking by to another table. Overall, definitely recommend to eat there once and judge for yourself, but don’t go there with the highest of expectations.

It does not get any better than this! Everything is in balance: the extraordinary food, the place itself, the waiters. Beautifully presented, exquisit food and unbelievable wine pairing. Had a tour of the kitchen and met all three brothers. They are so humble and kind. An out of this world experience!!

I've been to the restaurant for first time in 2016. It's innovative approach around local ingredients, childhood memories and trips, opened new horizons regarding my perception around gastronomy. A real experience. Extra kudos for the service and the inclusive environment.

The restaurant is beautiful - very natural feel with a lot of greenery. It discreetly fits in the neighborhood (quieter area, mostly homes/apartments). They have two menus, the tasting menu and feast -- we went with tasting menu and wine pairing (feast looked awesome and fun, but didn't want to leave feeling bloated) 😁 the staff started us off with some sparkling white. There were ~15 appetizers before tasting menu -- they were so delicious. Perfect portions too for food and wine. I loved the langoustine dish. So soft, and flavorful. One of the wines was older than me 😆 some vintages I could only try at such a restaurant and not really on my own haha. Amazing, amazing. Service was impeccable, very warm and gracious, we did not feel intimidated or rushed. The pacing of food was really great; I could taste the wine, opine on flavors, chat with friends about what we were seeing, tasting, and feeling. Would love to come back to Girona to visit again, highly recommend!

I promise you - this will be one of the best culinary experiences of your life! You need to book it most likely one year in advance but it is worth the wait! A truly outstanding experience and even after years of visiting I love to remember my meal there.

Stunning. Amazing. Delicious. It is hard to find words to describe dining at El Celler de Can Roca. Their reputation is well known and the experience exceeds anything you can imagine. The food is on a completely different level. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Dinner here is simply outstanding and I cannot recommend it enough.

Worth the trip if you are in the area, but also as a destination on itself. Can definitely recommend their hotel (Casa Cacao) as well. Very convenient, only a short taxi ride away from the restaurant. Impressive wine list which is transported in a dedicated cart through the restaurant consisting of 3 large books (white, red, liquor). We decided to go for the wine pairing, which turned out to be a good choice. Food is what you can expect at a 3*, absolute perfection. Also with one of the brothers taking care of the desserts you are definitely in for a treat if that’s your thing. Too many top restaurants have weak desserts when compared to the savory part. This however is not the case at Celler.

Thank you Jordi and team for the wonderfull experience we had! We had the honour to taste the feast menu with 15 courses and paring wines. It was a tasting adventure. We liked the ingenious dishes, the exploding flavours and the perfect service. We will be back!

What an unbelievable dining experience. I was so lucky to get a reservation the night before! From the food, service and wine, 5 stars. Thank you for accommodating my wife's allergy.

El Celler de Can Roca presents an exquisite and unmatched dining experience. The level of attention to detail is beyond measure. Every single ingredient and flavor was fresh and present in each bite. The team was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Cyril (our sommelier) and Alex (our waiter) enhanced the experience with their service and attitude. The Roca brothers are truly a gift to humanity. Thank you for this amazing experience. We will cherish this memory for ever.

The most amazing experience of my life! Literally flew to Girona just for this restaurant. Truly deserves 3 Michelin stars and world's 50 best accolades. Every dish was a masterpiece, and absolutely mind blowing. I would return in a heart beat if I could! <3

It's an incredible experience of senses. Creativity, imagination, technic and service makes this a luxury more than worth it. I could not help laugh and hold breath for the explosion of tastes. Well done to Rocas's brothers.

We were so happy to be back for the second time to experience dinner in this wonderful place. Of course, there is a lot to be said about the service, taste of food and experience, but I was also very pleased with the flexibility and agility of the whole team in relation to my dietary requirements. Thanks again! ❤️

It was lucky we could get a table from waiting list. It wouldn't have been possible without pandemic. Excelente experience. Beautiful dishes , great wines, and desert Servers are all nice, polite It was a surprise they remember that I mentioned once about my husband birthday, and prepare a small birthday care. Very considerate! We could meet all three Roca brothers, they were all there and greeting people nicely!!!

Splendid experience, amazing food, friendly staff! It was the recipe for a wonderful evening that we look forward to repeat next year. The star of the night was the seemingly unending series of appetizers that arrived at our table, each showcasing one of the restaurant's master pieces throughout the years.

It has been one of the best experiences we have ever had at these kinds of restaurants, if not the best. The overall experience has been great, every little detail is considered and carefully planned. Tons of different (modern and old) techniques and ingredients, and, above all, delicious dishes (we've been at places with outstanding techniques but tasteless dishes). The service was wonderful and really knowledgeable. The wine cellar is wonderful with +5k reference and +70k bottles; one of their sommeliers gave us a tour and a very nice explanation. As I've already mentioned, a wonderful experience. Of course, I do know it's an expensive place, but, for me, it's been totally worth it.
