This place was amazing. Incredibly peaceful, great location for fishing, kayaking and diving. Really close to historic Kennedy Island. Fresh seafood every night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got to know them pretty well over our three day stay and they took care of us rely well.

Great location and friendly staff the downside is they overcharge everything, $9AUD for a coffee, $26AUD for toast with Jam and tea because they know there's no other options unless you jump on a boat and go into town. We spent almost $400 on dinner with 6 people and only ordered mains and drinks and still left hungry

My husband and I just spent four days at Fatboys and loved every second of it. Beautiful nature, amazing staff, clear waters and a lot to do in a leisurely kinda way. The food though was the best of it all: I ate fresh fish every day and had some heavenly calamari dishes.... In fact, these were the best calamari I have ever had!

Was in Gizo visiting some family and stopped over for dinner one night and it was outstanding. The entrΓ©e salad was so fresh and delicious - hands down the best salad I've had in my whole life. Salad was fresh and sweet but not that artificial type of sweet and the service was brilliant.

Great accommodation, food only average and very expensive. You don't mind paying that much if it's exelent, but it just wasn't that good.

Sam and I had our last 6 days of our diving holiday here and wish we had our whole time here. Great location, the main restaurant and bar is fantastic. Brody, Mano and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Rooms are lovely, cleaned up every day. If your thinking of a place to stay in Solomon Islands definitely put this on your list as wont be disappointed.

Epic holiday! Fishing, food, snorkling, beautiful beaches and coral and lovely people. Where else can you put your snorkling gear on and launch from the platform 5 metres from your bed into sensational coral to see colourful fish, eels, seahorses, and even the regular family of 7 squid which hang around our bungalow day in day out. The occasional turtle, pods of dolphins, and spotted stingrays. Watching the local villagers paddle out in their wooden canoes hand carved to fish every day made you appreciate that you were not in a manufactured oasis. This place truly was and is paradise. The accommodation, the people, the experience and the food did not disappoint. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Fatboys. Our days were filled with beautiful weather, amazing views, sensation snorkling and trips in the poly boat or banana boats visiting islands to fish the reefs or off the beach; and plenty of time perched in the Fatboys Restaurant with a Solbrew and a glass of wine; and Steve challenging the staff (I think they all play!) at games of snooker. Thanks to Manu, Dan, Leah, Roderick, Ashley, Peter, Tiro, Suzi, Calisha, Sharon and all those staff I haven’t named for such an enjoyable experience and making us feel like we were part of the family. See you all soon!

Absolutely Stunning views. The location, service and tours make this place well worth a visit !! It is an eco resort so the rooms are beautifully appointed but modest with plenty of fans available.
