Lovely hotel. Friendly family owned. Perfect location, close to all main attractions. Breakfast delicious. Would definitely recommend. Spotlessly clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms.

The room was impressively beautiful and traditional and was the main reason I decided to book. Sleeping in the beds was amazing, the beds were so comfortable, I could barely get up because it was so pleasant. The host is incredibly hospitable, he regularly greets you with coffee and raki and is a very entertaining person. He helped us a lot to organize buses around Albania and took us also to the bus station. The experience was great and I recommend it to everyone

Highly recommend staying here if you can. Beautifully restored traditional house, in a great location with stunning views, clean and comfortable, delicious breakfasts. Most of all, the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable. Thank you so much and hope to return!

A very welcoming hotel, very clean, and with excellent service. It Managed from a very polite and communicative family. The rooms are very comfortable and offer a lovely contemporary/antique blend. It was a very special detail that the gentleman who looked after the hotel was also the curator, and that he had worked on all the wooden parts of the house with a perfection that matched the old originals. As a result, the Hotel could not only be called a hotel but also a museum, as they had dubbed it. I'm extremely impressed. For those who are curious, I invite you to come and stay for a single night!

The 200 year old hotel-museum is located in the heart of the old city... The unreal atmosphere of the Ottoman era... You feel like you are going on a journey into the past... Your trip to Gjirokastra will be unforgettable if you stay at this hotel @hotelmusee2018 🤍 And the incredibly kind and attentive hosts will make your stay especially memorable!!!

I loved this hotel. Our room was amazing and I liked specially the decoration of it. The host is really nice and always ready to help and guide you in case of any question. The flowers in the yard are also really beautiful.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is in a beautiful setting, with a gorgeous terrace and lovely breakfast. Your hosts are extremely generous and kind. Unfortunately our air-conditioning didn’t seem to work very well, in the mid-summer we were quite hot. But other than that I would highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were clean & absolutely gorgeous, the location was excellent and the complementary breakfast was really good. If I return to Gjirokaster I’ll make sure to stay here again.

Beautiful traditional family run Boutique hotel. 5 min walk from Main old town center. Wonderful breakfast. Rooms are like a museum. Hand carved wood ceiling and decor.

Great recomendation through @emily_lush blog! 1.5km walk to the hotel from the bus station - mountain up. The hotel is located in one of the old fortress houses Gjirokaster is known for. Wonderful view from the terrasce and the rooms over the valley. Breakfast is wonderful. Attention by the owner unbelievable. I will be back.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The rooms are very sweet and authentic. The owners are very friendly! As Google maps doesn't show you the right way when arriving in the car, I recommend to call the owner before in order to receive more details. 10/10 recommendation!

The hotel itself is a lovely old house in front of the Ethnologic museum, just in the old town. The rooms are amazing, well decorated in an old style. The owner Will and his family are very friendly and everything you should know about the town, he knows. The small garden where they serve a lovely and heavy breakfast is also amazing. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!! The best in town.
