Beautiful, cozy restaurant with delicious food and friendly hospitality. We visited this place for a soup and traditional pie. The food was delicious, freshly made and beautifully presented. The service was fast, polite and welcoming. Even the lady in the kitchen was waving at us and thanking us for coming. Highly recommend visiting this place.

This restaurant provides a lot of choices from the traditional cuisine on the menu with good value for money. All our dishes except meatballs maybe were delicious. The only drawback is the small portions but as I mentioned previously the prices are small too, so you can order something additionally if you’re still hungry. The waiter knew the menu well and was polite. Service time was fast. I can recommend this establishment to anyone in Gjirokastra.

This was our go-to restaurant. It seems to be the best in town. In November, off-season, it always had customers when other places were empty. The cooking is done by the server’s mother and cousin. Beautiful food - every dish we tried - and the prices were great considering the comfortable setting. It’s a charming, warm-hearted place in a stone building. Lots of vegetarian options, and they really look after you. Just about every dish is my favourite, though the lamb in soured yoghurt is pretty special and unique, and the stuffed eggplant is the best I’ve ever had. It made me like eggplant.

OK chaps and chappettes... This place is fantastic. It's located centrally in Gjirokaster's bazar and clearly caters to tourists but it retains an Albanian authenticity. We paid 1,850 Leke for five dishes, big water, and tea to share between two. If you're a hungry couple, six dishes (plus bread) is plenty. We had the traditional Gjirokaster dishes of Sarma (rice and cabbage wrapped in a leaf) and qifqi (fried rice), alongside moussaka, fries, and meatballs. The waiters were polite, personable, and available. The service was fast. Atmosphere is excellent; for dinner they place tables along the street and there's a nice buzz in the air. It's a thumbs up from me!

The taste of each dish was so delicate, especially the Tavë Kosi (casserole with lamb). No wonder the locals say the owner is passionate about food. Great service and the waiter even helped us locate bus stations in Tirana. Highly recommended!

Fast and friendly service, but the mosaka lacked any flavour and it was bland. The spinache and egg dish the same, lacked flavour. The stuffed aubergine was tasty.

The food here is delicious. They use a lot of fresh dill. The restaurant is a family place. The aunt, and mom do the cooking while the kids wait on the tables. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will eat here again while we are in town.

We had lunch at this place and the waiter couldn't have been any friendlier. Delicious (!) local food, we tried like half of the menu and everything was really good and ready within minutes. Best baklava of my life. Great red housewine, too. Everything at a super reasonable price. Highly recommended if you visit Gjirokastra!

I really enjoyed my experience in Vojsava Restaurant. It's close to the castle of Gjirokastra so it's a great alternative if you are hungry after visiting it. The food is amazing, with fresh products and it was well-cooked. The staff is very polite and professional. 10/10 recommend if you want to try real traditional Albanian food and with great prices👌🏻.

Everything perfect, one of the best foods we have had in Albania. Homemade feel to every dish, prices were also hard to beat. Great view to the Kastro and to the old town. Highly recommend when in Gjirokastro!

We had a wonderful dinner here. The food was absolutely delicious. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a good range of choice and it's very reasonably priced. The only dessert is baklava so we didn't stay for that.

My partner and I had dinner here and it was great. We booked a table which meant we had an outside table (I recommend). A great, lively atmosphere eating outside with other restaurant goers. We ordered a range of traditional dishes including the meatballs, stuffed vine leaves, cabbage pie, stuffed eggplant and Moussaka. Great value for money and a must visit when visiting Gjirokaster!

I can 100% recommend this Restaurant! In my 10 days of vacation in Albania, we had the best food here (even my italian boyfriend really liked it ;)). Also the location is really nice. You should espescially try the lamb, the meat is super delicious. The service was excellent. The grandmother herself is cooking, and is doing an amazing job :)

Beautiful Location. The Food may not look the most delicious, but these meatballs were for sure one of the best of my life, also in comparison to the other delicious I had during my stay in Albania. The price is superfair, so check it out.

I had the meatballs which were good plus the stuffed eggplant, also good. My wife had the chicken soup which she raved over. I did not find the food extraordinary but the service and the atmosphere were lovely

This place was very nice. Family owned restaurant. The food was really good - and the service was amazing. We had the privilege to meet the owners and we had a pleasant conversation - that ended up us having Raki - made by the owner in his house. We recommend this place highly.

This restaurant is located on one of the Bazar streets leading up to the castle. Is ran by a lovely family comprised of Erit, his cousin, his lovely mum and dad. His mum and cousin cook the dishes while Erit and his dad serve the food. You can feel the love that his put into the traditional Albanian food you can try here. The restaurant is very cosy with this nice friendly and welcoming atmosphere that you get from the family. I went there for lunch and dinner and if I ever go back to Gijrokaster this is the place I want to go back to for my meals. All the best to the family 🇦🇱❤️

Small restaurant with traditionnal dishes at local prices. The food was good and the service nice. Contrary to other restaurants next to the castle they don't harass you or try to scam you into entering. Had I stayed longer I would have definitely come back here!

Great restaurant in the center of the old town. The food was delicious with a lot of vegetarian/vegan options. The prices were also very good. A big plus is that they don't bother people to enter to the restaurant compared to other places.

We were served by a very nice 17 year old boy that was kind enough to explain to us all the dishes. However, at the checkout they charged us for a beer that we never received, which we mentioned before paying just to remove it from the check, not because it was relevant to us. The owner of the restaurant was very disrespectful to the young waiter and blamed him in front of all the restaurant. We would come back for the service and the food, but we did not appreciate the bad behavior of the owner towards his employees
