Very loud music from the downstairs bar until midnight. Manager is obnoxious and aggressive - he doesnโ€™t speak English. Facilities and the room itself are very nice.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kekezi Hotel in Gjirokaster, Albania, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. The first thing that struck me was the breathtaking views that surround this hotel. Gjirokaster is a stunningly beautiful place, and Kekezi Hotel takes full advantage of its location. The scenery from my room was absolutely amazing, and I felt like I was in a dream. What truly sets Kekezi Hotel apart, however, is the warm and welcoming hospitality of the owners. They are not only bilingual in Greek and Albanian but also speak English fluently. This made my stay incredibly smooth and enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests, making me feel right at home. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Kekezi Hotel. The combination of the incredible views, friendly owners, and multilingual staff made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gjirokaster, and I can't wait to return for another visit.

The best hotel in the city, for location, quality and price. Just downstairs you will have the most famous bar in the city with a fancy decoration, and very good drinks. As in all the country, everything ends at 12 (midnight), so even when you can hear the sound of the bar, it is not important from my perspective, because who can sleep before midnight with this gorgeous city. The service was excellent, the breakfast super good (it had omelette, juice, coffee, salad, fruits, cheese, burek, bread) with a beautiful view. The owner was super attentive and even helping guests providing information, or going to the bus stop / parking. The decoration very well done, inside and outside the rooms. Last but not least, the location was excellent. Just outside the hotel, and going upstairs, there is an obelisk and an impressive view of the city. The castle is close by (you can see the castle from the hotel). The main five streets just few meters far away. I understand that the hotel usually is full, so I recommend to book in advance.

Everything was great! The room was clean and spacious, the location was perfect (windows were isolating so donโ€™t worry about the pub downstairs) and the host was extremely helpful and friendly :) Good breakfast!

Great location, with the best view at night on the rooftop bar just steps away. The service was great, as the host was very helpful to guide us in the right direction and was attentive to our every request.

Everything is brand new, clean and the breakfast was fresh and abundant. We couldnโ€™t finish it! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, they even helped us drive up. Not for light sleepers since itโ€™s above a very noisy street (quite literally at the center) although it did stop at around 1am. For us it was fine. You cannot pay by card at the premises (yet) so if you donโ€™t do it online, remember to take some cash.

We spent two nights in this hotel after the first night we had to change because our room was just above the Irish pub. It was extremely loud on a Monday evening. The hosts were sympathetic and the breakfast was by far the best traditional breakfast we had. However it should be noted that directly under the hotel you find the loudest bar and street in the city. So there is place for improvement eg. no shower door but overall not a bad

Clean and comfy hotel. Very kind and diligent service. Only thing is the music from the downstairs pub. Too loud until 0:00 pm.

An exceptional experience in the heart of Gjirokastra. A hotel owner, with rich and turbulent history is more than just a host. Should you visit Gjirokastra, this is a place to stay at. Apart from cozy accommodation, you'll have breakfasts with great view.

๐Ÿซค Rude unhelpful staff. Lift looked to be faulty as not arriving to stop point. Had to carry bags to hotel on being made up road with no hotel assistance. Bar prices more expensive than anywhere else we stayed. Roof top bar on 2nd floor and not open. Not recommended
