We found this guesthouse after striking out with a couple other places in Girokaster...must have been fate. This place is amazing! Matilda and her family were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfect for a couple overnight or few days and was very clean. The rooftop terrace was a great spot for relaxing after a day of exploring. The traditional breakfast served on the terrace was quite possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had and worth the price of the room alone.

10/10 for location. Right in the centre and within a few minutes walking to the Bazaar. Service was lovely and very welcoming and we had the upstairs room which was lovely! Breakfast was also delicious and had a great view on the rooftop too.

A wonderful guest house in the perfect location. It's a very short walk to the castle, old bazaar and other sites. It's not too low and not too high in the hill either so you don't have to walk too many steep slopes. Hospitality was amazing! We got tea at night and breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was a huge spread with some local dishes, it was absolutely delicious. Rooms are cosy and clean. Shampoo and soap was available. Everything was perfect. This stay made our time in Gjirokastër a very enjoyable one.

Nice and cozy place! Very friendly and responsible staff. Nice traditional food. Interesting architecture in the old part of the town. Very near to the old and artisanal market place of the town.

The location is perfect, nearby the attractions of Argirocastro. The host is very hospitable, friendly and kind. The room is very clean. The breakfast is super delicious, with a beautiful view from Kalaja e Gjirokastrës. Considering the price too, this is the best place to stay while visiting Argirocastro. Enjoy your stay!

Excellent place. Host was wonderful. Location is convenient to major sites, and easy to find. Facilities are clean and sufficient. Welcome tea was a beautiful touch. Showers are warm and the spout has a amazing stream. Breakfast was amazing - hosts grandmother made the most amazing petulla. Highly recommend. Would come back to stay again.

A small quiet hotel in the old town, in the Palorto area, which is one of the most saved and prestigious quarters of the old town of Girokastra. The hotel itself is situated in 3 minutes walk from the main “Instagram” street of city. 3 minutes walking from hotel is an interesting ethnographic museum, which is necessary to see. The room is tiny, bathroom with a shower are tighty, but it does not influence the feeling of comfort. The room is quiet, comfortable bed and mattresses. Kind and gracious hostess treated us with home wine and homemadecookies, that was very pleasant. Public parking is on near with the hotel. Very nourishing and tasty breakfast - we were served it on the terraces with a view of the fortress and the old town. For a stopover of one or more nights for a strolling city, this hotel fits very well.

Amazing family owned guest house. Very kind people. Rooms are clean, very comfy beds. shower water pressure is also good. Would recommend. It's very close to the bazaar and castle and breakfast was amazinggggg. Best breakfast we had in three weeks Albania

Just fantastic. A small guest house in the old town with heaps of bars and restaurants nearby plus of course the historical side. Hostess could not be more welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast served on roof terrace overlooking town and mountains.

Had an amazing time at Kore gust house! Great location 5 min walk from old town and a lot of the historic sites. Room was nice and clean! The host Matilda went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

One if the BEST places we've ever been hosted. The ownet Matilda was so kind and nice, she gave us welcome shots of Raki. The room was sooo clean, warm, and comfortable. Great terrace for taking breakfast (crazy breakfast!!!) With beautiful views.

Great location, you can reach everything by foot. The hosts are lovely and kind, they even cooked a great dinner one evening for a reasonable price. The room was cosy, clean and airconditioned. We would revisit anytime, 5/5.

Exceptional host family made us feel welcome from the very first minute of our arrival. Very cute and traditional decoration of the rooms and a fantastic breakfast with view over the whole area. The guest house is very nice located, in close walking distance to the old town and castle. We could bring our dog with us without any problems.
