The most delightful place to stay in Gjirokastra. Not only is the building beautifully renovated and decorated, the rooms comfortable and shower hot and plentiful, the host Tatiana is the kindest person. She showed us such warmth and generosity and we were genuinely sad to go. Five stars is not enough.

Staying here was the best choice for my trip to Albania! You will be amazed by Tatjana and here big heart and how she is taking care for her guests! Feels like home from the first second of your arrival! Best, Florian!

What a beautiful Heritage inn, so beautifully restored and presented. Tatiana and her family we were told have owned this home since 1812. We could feel the pride and joy here. We felt privileged to stay in such a wonderful place and to spend time with our host, Tatiana. Our room was perfect, the outdoor courtyard so peaceful. Fantastic breakfast. We recommend this to anyone wishing to experience authentic Gjirokastër. Thank you Tatiana!

This is one of the most beautiful places we have been - and wonderful hosts! Nothing more to say.

Our host was one of the sweetest, most welcoming people I have ever met, and our mountain view room for our honeymoon has us waking up to the most beautiful view! Also, her homemade donuts were incredible. This stop was one of my favourites, and her hospitality made me feel so well taken care of. Fantastic clean room, and well situated in the city.

It is an amazing hotel with a kind owner, Tanja. You can feel at home if she takes care of you. The big bedroom at the top of hotel is very confortable, big bed an nice decoration.Our days in Gjiroklaster have been marvellous. You have to book this hotel without any dubt if you want to take a rest and enjoy yourself!!

Lovely boutique hotel. Tatiana is very helpful she gave us many suggestions of places to eat and visit, all very good. Room was very spacious and bright. Nicely decorated with traditional touches. Windows were fantastic all around and offering great views. Everything was cleaned to sparkle. Comfortable bed great shower. Location was excellent walking distance to everything: bazar, castle, traditional houses opened for visiting, ethnographic museum. Breakfast was very good, good strong coffee, homemade jam and traditional Albanian pancakes, local honey, plus bread, eggs, sausage, fruit. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay with Tatiana! She was an amazing host and the place is just amazing. 2 min away from the city center walking, very clean and cozy rooms. Breakfast was a 11/10 😍 just make you feel like home!

If you visit Gjirokaster then Argyrolopolis is simply the PERFECT place to stay. The host Tatiana is amazing and very hospitable. The building was carefully renovated and the room was very comfortable and clean. The location is central, you can get to the old town and the castle easily by walking and some museums are even closer (Ethnographic museum, Kandare House, etc). Even though the hotel is so centrally located, we could reach it easily by car following the suggested route from Tatiana. If we go again to Gjirokaster we will definitely stay at Argyropolis again. :)

Stayed for one night- the night of 19 Jul 2023. If faults have to be found they can be- however I can say with conviction that there was nothing that was not agreeable-everything from the warm welcome by the hostess, the room, adequate private parking for our car, the cleanliness, the simple breakfast, and the location was worth the five stars I have given this property. I stayed with my daughter and we were at the end of our roadtrip in the Balkans- and despite the fatigue of travel- this was the icing on the cake. Next morning we were driving back to Tirana for our flight home fully rejuvenated in beautiful Gjirokaster
