I needed a bifold shower screen quickly and to be honest I had looked everywhere and only stumbled on this place by chance. Not only did they have one off the shelf but it was cheap compared to the others I had see online and I'm please to say its great quality too. I will try Homebase first from now on.

Very helpful staff at the till. Always get good customer experience at this branch. Would have been 5 stars if the prices were more competitive, £18 seemed a bit steep for a Stanley knife, but it will last year's.

Quite expensive £25 price extra on my bbq that I bought from b&m prices are a little extreme. I understand prices have risen. But that's pricing yourself out of the market.

You get a parking tiket if you stay over an hour and 30 minutes, so the store is useless, especially if you need decorating items, remidel the house... shame on you!

Outstanding customer service by Homebase kitchen department Bishop Auckland. Lisa and colleages have delivered fantastic customer service with the purchase of my kitchen. Having problems with my installer along the way Lisa the kitchen designer and her colleages have gone above and beyond to help resolve my issues and offer support along the way. I am trained in customer service myself and the delivery of support has been fantastic during severe stress with the installation. I have worked with kitchen designers over the years but this departments service is beyond recognition. A truly professional and articulate service. Thankyou to Lisa and her colleages for the ongoing support. A highly recommended and outstanding service.

Can't believe we got a Christmas tree for nothing. There was a notice saying "free Xmas trees" and there was one left. We'd been very late in looking for a tree so I was thrilled to finally find one and for it to be free, too.

The staff didn’t seem to care about the customers. They are meant to serve. Whilst they were stood around chatting with each other and making fun of each other, customers, wandering around the store, could’ve stolen anything! I’m a little surprised why the staff are even still employed

Store clean and well stocked. Staff keen to be helpful. Easy to get around most aisles. Was disappointed to find that it closed earlier than it used to at 8pm. When I enquired when the time altered I was told that it had altered several times recently and even the staff only get short notice. Best to check closing time if you want to go later in day.

Staff friendly. Store layout is absolutely great very easy to find things.

Prices are getting ridiculous. Budget el-cheapo silicone was £12 there, yet £1.88 in Screwfix. It's a pound in poundland! (obviously) Blatant price-hiking post covid.

Not great for me. I was told they stock 6kg propane gas bottles. A very nice chap said they haven't had any for months!
