Good pub with nice rooftop beer garden with massive screens though very hard to see in the sun and get drinks on first floor. Visit 10-Jul-2022: Burger was really pink inside, not safe for cooked minced meat or burgers. Pint of Innes & Gunn was flat and warm from the ground floor bar.

bar was actually fine but the bouncer totally ruins the experience he was targeting me for no reason and he ended up getting physically aggressive and grabbing me for standing outside the toilets. Very creepy and scary. Really should not be working with the public, seems a danger to women.

Cheap-ish and Cheerful Irish Pub as Irish pubs go. Fairly small with only a dozen tables or so. They had normal pub fare and good chicken wings. The peri-peri ones were quite spicy and I like spicy… Kids had a pizza and it was fine 3.5/5. The highlight was local live music from a lovely lass taking requests. Our gluten free friend had the nachos.

I’ve never had a bad night at Malones. Staff are always amazing and friendly and go above and beyond with their service. Always an amazing atmosphere, the drink selection is brilliant and prices are actually really reasonable for the city centre! Genuinely couldn’t fault the place.

My friend lost her phone. I was told be a security guard to keep back from the bar when I was trying to ask if a phone had been handed in. When I asked a different security guard how I could make a complaint, they laughed in my face. Anyone less persistent would have lost that phone for good.they are a great place but their security disregards human decency. The man who laughed at me knows he did wrong because when I tried to go back up to find my drunk friend, another guard was asking me questions about who I was complaint about, and the guard who laughed at me initially, told him to shush and just let me up. It's not on. I was not drunk and disorderly I was relatively sober and trying to find my drunk friend's phone and I was not able too because one security guard kept telling me away from the bar (it wasn't even closed) when all I was trying to do was ask if a phone had been handed in. When the bar staff confirmed that a phone had been handed in the security guard did not apologise in any way shape or form. Later on, while my friends were getting drinks at the bar and I was waiting by the side the same guard got up in my face and said he wouldn't hesitate to "take me out"

Great rooftop garden. Not the friendliest service. A whopping £5 for a pint of Tenny.

Absolute worst bar I’ve ever been to,went here for my birthday and handed my bag over to the bar at about 12:30 (I have 4 witnesses) called the next day as my laptop was missing when I got it back, the guy on the phone was perfectly reasonable and told me to come in the next day. I then called back to check it was still okay for me to come in, the lady on the phone was extremely rude and called me a liar saying no one had handed a bag in at the bar even though I literally have four people who saw me leave it and get it back again????? Most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had will never be going back there again and will be getting the police involved. The fact they r denying even having my bag is more of a reason to believe they are liars.

Very nice pub and the food is amazing! Some of the best pub grubs I've had in Glasgow. Friendly staff too. The golden breaded brie was a taste sensation.

Myself and partner came in here the other day and where felt very welcome. LOVE that it is dog friendly in and out the pub! The 2 male staff where so lovely and as soon as we arrived came straight over with a wee water bowl for the dog. Had a lovely night. Thanks again! Will be back

Had a great experience watching Scotland v England in the 6 nations but dressed as Janet for the Rocky Horror Show later that evening. Fantastic upstairs bar with more bottles of Irish whiskey than I could ever imagine... And a few gin ones too!! Only issue I had was the till I'd ordered some food wasn't sending the orders to the kitchen and it took the whole of the second half to get a pizza 🤦‍♀️. The ladies toilets (I'm trans) made up for it though with made up newspaper headlines, very comical 😂.

Booked 16 people via email 4 weeks in advance, took several emails to get it confirmed. They said we needed to pre-order food bc of late dinner. No probs! Asked for menu (as they said website was outdated). Took several calls and emails asking for the menu. Until the due date, when the manager calls mid day saying the chef is sick and they can’t cook for us that evening. Only one chef? For the ”no.1 irish pub in glasgow” or whatever the slogan is? Just super bad communication all the way. Extremely dissapointed.

Booked a table on Saturday and was charged £38 for 3 bottles of Budweiser and a bottle of prosecco and then walked out !!!! early down at O'Neill's 4 buds and a bottle of prosecco was £24 no brainer I think 👎 ripped off

You can't beat Malones for a great night out. Craic is first class, excellent live music and staff that are always welcoming. Andy is a manager who goes above and beyond to make sure everything is running smoothly. He is worth his weight in gold.

Came to venue on saturday with my partner and sister only to be told we weren’t getting in, no explanation why when asked sercuity replied with “no chance mate “. The pub did not look crazy busy, we had only been out for dinner as well. I think it’s really rude when sercuity judge folk. I get it’s for the safety of others but none of us were drunk at all.

The staff were super lovely and welcoming! Came in to watch a Premier league game and their TV was big and the sound good. Place started to fill up as the night went on and the atmosphere was nice. Didn't try their food because I had dinner before coming but maybe next time! Drinks were well poured. Can't recommend them enough, even if just for their service alone. Felt welcomed even as a first time tourist in their bar, a big thank you to the team!

Beer good. Usual city centre prices these days. Bar staff could be friendlier and more polite when serving. Queue at downstairs bar was odd as it was one long line snaking away from bar, leading to confusion as to who was to he saved next.

Went in for the first time and it was phenomenal. The staff were so nice especially the lad Scott. Even though it was busy staff were still checking we were having a nice night. Music and atmosphere was amazing. Looking forward to going back

First time in here, my son took me for lunch. The food was excellent and incredibly reasonable. Great bar staff, my son wanted to go up to the beer garden, but I wanted to stay indoors, but I wish I had ventured up their now. I would highly recommend this place

Lovely pub, my BBQ pizza was great. The staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, and only for us, we went for a quite drink and food after work, when there was a celtic game on (we didn't know) 😂

A fantastic bar! Great atmosphere and lovely staff, can get a bit crowded which is why it's not 5 stars. The themes are fantastic though and often a live band or host makes the place really come alive

Great bar. Welcome from helpful staff. Good beer etc. Great roof bar area. Food looked superb but didn't eat today. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE REVIEW THAT SAID THIS PLACE IS RACIST. an Asian door man. A gorgeous black girl behind the bar. Lots of different faces in the crowd. Bullsh*t if thus place is racist. It's as great as the diversity of Glasgow.
