Great pub. Always been a good atmosphere whenever I've been there. A decent selection of beers and friendly staff. A good place to have a few birthday beers makes me feel less bad about getting old!

Been going to Tennents for years now and tend to take it for granted that it’s an excellent pub. In yesterday, with my adult kids tagging along. Booked a table, which was ready when we arrived. Food was great, tremendous atmosphere (rugby was on) and service was excellent, as usual. See you soon !

Cracking pub, feels authentic where some others around Byres road don't, with a decent price. One of it's "best" attributes.... regardless of how busy it is (even when packed out) the bar staff are still attentive and timely...the wait just never seems long and the typical q-jumping just doesn't seem to happen....either by magic, or some great training and a super professional approach

The service was great. The atmosphere was great. There were a lot of people in, they were not taking glasses up to the bar when going to order more, so collecting glasses around the pub could probably be better.

I came to this bar because a friend in Australia told me to. We arranged to meet in July on certain day but because I couldn't understand his accent I missed him by one day. Anyway I had a few pints and a meal. And came back a few times in the 2 weeks that I had in Glasgow.

The pub is fine. Barmaid was really cheeky though. She was probably from Maryhill.

Due to the pandemic it has been a while since eating with there with mum & kept telling my partner how lovely the food is & finally got the chance to take him, he enjoyed his meal so much he wants to go back. I do love the new app. they have as you can add & take things off, unlike the Wetherspoons app. For example my partner does not like lettuce & you are given that option to have your burger with or without lettuce, same go for drinks ice or no ice, which surprised me too. The food is really great there & they do the most amazing chips ( light, fluffy & crispy). Can't wait to go back

Tennents is a well known haunt for locals and visitors. Well loved by many. Award winning as well. Staff were very pleasant. Food was served quickly.

Tennent's is a pleasant enough bar. It has a large horse-shoe bar and plenty of daylight through large and double-aspect windows. It's clean and the staff are friendly. However, despite a multiplicity of draught taps providing a wide range of English beers, it only has a single, token, Scottish ale on offer - the ubiquitous, though not unpleasant, Punk. Could do better!

Visited on Tuesday with my mum and had a tasty lunch which was very reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful and a good old fashioned pub with a good ambience. Would definately return and recommend it.

Traditional pub. In for drinks with friends. Nice atmosphere with live music. Wait at the bar wasn't too long. Decent prices. Mojito was a little flat. Toilet was stinking, we were sat at the front window a number of meters away, and you could smell urine from that distance. Soured our experience. Seemed to be an issue with ladies toilet being closed too. One of my favourite places to visit in Byres Road so will be back, hopefully issues having been resolved.

I had been dying to go here since our last Glasgow visit as it has a cool history. To be honest I was expecting a bit more of an oldy worldy feel but it was more like an enjoyable Weather spoons feel. Very clean, popular and sure the beers were great. Dog friendly so that was a bonus and you can catch the rugby on big feck off screens, but it just missed a stronger heartbeat. Definitely worth a pint in, should you be in the neighborhood.

Great bar in the west end for a chilled drinks with mates, especially for watching sport with it always on. Prices are reasonable and service is always grand. Especially Michelle who is always welcoming. Even if not serving you she makes the effort to say hi and have some chat. A real asset to the bar!!

Always different every time we visit. Was busy as were all the bars of West End of Glasgow on 26th November. Very varied clientele, decent choice of drinks and friendly staff and prices reasonable. 👍

Cracking pub with an extensive selection of drink and delicious food. However incompetent staff serving today the 18/12/2019 can't tell the difference between an 18 year old and a 30 year old. Poorly trained staff if you fail to enforce challenge 25.

Was one of the last classic Traditional Pubs. Famous for its old style bar and gantry. Sadly being refurbished into just another plastic corporate pub. Will look like a clone of the thousands of other corporate pubs up and down the country. What a waste of a classic pub.

Fantastic spot for a cold one or a good whisky. This place has lots of character and its been around for ages. It's the most traditional Scottish pub you could ever imagine. The place gets crowded, and quite loud in the evening. The amazing thing though is, it's filled with people's chatter, rather than some loud music. You won't see people playing with their phones here, they come to talk and drink, and enjoy the moment - soaking up the atmosphere of a traditional pub, like they've done for centuries, before technology came along. You can really feel the history in this place. Especially when you talk to some of the locals. If you come to Glasgow, I recommend you find the time on a rainy evening, and come here for a few drinks. It's worth it.

The newly refurbished Tennents, still like the old one... Except the women's toilets are now downstairs but the kitchen looks bigger, making the food taste a lot better!! New tellys to watch Partick Thistle on! A new entrance from the upstairs bar to help you get to the bar downstairs, intimate and functional. The staff are still all very helpful and knowledgeable about the beers, but I think they've got rid of a couple of pumps Definitely recommended.

Fairly average pub located on Byers Road in Glasgow's West End. It's recently had a bit of a makeover but nothing major. Was quite busy and it's not a big place so standing room only when we were in. Usual selection of beers and spirits and plenty of screens to watch sports if that's your thing. It does a selection of pub food but don't know what they serve as I only seen menus on the tables.
