A Glasgow institution in the heart of the city. Friendly and informal with a local pub feel. Looking a bit ragged round the edges cosmetically but always a great atmosphere

Excellent local pub. Selection of craft draft beer available. Live music different bands, always packed on friday-sat evening. 2 bars outside seating area available. Not very clean and service can be improved, however the atmosphere is great and that beats it. Suits for a great pint of beer night out. Well recommended, check out for yourself

Always have a great time here. Food is average but the atmosphere and fantastic live music more than makes up for it. If you enjoy live music it's definitely worth a visit.

Great bar for relaxing in the afternoon sun either in the beer garden or out front to watch the sun go down. In the evenings the atmosphere is very chilled with fantastic live music playing. The staff are excellent, we were in Glasgow on a 2 night break and were staying across the road in the Holiday Inn Express. We will definitely be returning to Clutha & Victoria bar wherever we are staying when in Glasgow from now on.

You should know, I remember the place from before the helicopter crash. Since asked, I might just investigate further...

Very laid back atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff and very amenable setting. Great place to stop off for a beer (or two!!!) and a pizza. Not the cheapest in today's world but good value for money.

Beautiful bar. Would definitely go again. Great food too and the pizza is definitely recommended. Good range of alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Staff were polite and pleasant. And the live music entertainment was wonderful too.

I love the Clutha. It has a great atmosphere and has live music daily. Inexpensive for food and drink. There's not a lot of seating, but I have always been lucky. They have a good beer garden and I just love the look and feel of the inside area.

Bar was busy so bought 2 pints of lager couldn't finish one as they were very bitter. Management are a disgrace if they cannot clean their beer lines. I will never go back.

Visited Clutha for first time just a week before Christmas and enjoyed a"bargain lunch". Deep fried mushroom starter and fish and chip main course for only £7.00. It was an unexpectedly good meal. Surroundings a wee bit spartan and not terribly warm but we had a warm welcome from the staff. Check it out if you are in the area - you will be pleasantly surprised.

Clutha and Victoria bar is one of Glasgow's most fabulous bars is a proper Glasgow bar here you will meet all sorts of people form Glaswegian, bikers, Punks and steampunk. This bar is a great place to visit to get a taste of Glasgow if you are a tourist and you will always find someone to chat to and have a good time here. They have good music on all the time, and at the weekends they do live events with local bands, and it is a cracking venue for it because it's quite compact, so you feel part of the experience. This pub has tables outside at the front and rear. At the back is an excellent place to a smoking and a drink because you're quite sheltered. The food and drink The food is delicious in this place, the service is quick, and everything freshly prepared. I enjoy your nachos and pizza. Nachos have such a complex flavour it is unbelievable can't explain it just yummy, and they have a great variety of amazing pizzas. It is suitable for vegetarians too. The drinks are very reasonable price with a great variety of drinks to choose from. Accessibility There is no real problem with accessibility into this bar and around if you use a wheelchair. The only thing you have to be aware of is when you're in the downstairs part of the bar you need to go round the outside to get to the accessible toilet. They have a perfectly adequate disabled toilet with plenty of transfer room. The staff The staff in this bar are incredibly friendly and always happy to see you. They have been accommodating with my needs when I am here. Also, they go above and beyond with customer service. I was here one night I watched one of the staff members helped an older gentleman who was struggling to walk to get a taxi and got him into the cab. Brilliant staff. I would highly recommend you go here for a night out when they have live music on you will have a great time.

Came here to eat after arriving from the United States. Great deal, 8.50 GBP for a ten inch or so pizza and a draught beer, your choice. They have many draught beers on tap too. Many pizza choices as well. I highly recommend this place. They accept plastic. When we went, they were playing a tasteful selection of reggae music. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Great live music and atmosphere in the cluther from the band, skaladonia. Food was well good and worth the money cheep day out as no tickets required lads had a great time

  • 5/5 Jim D. 1 year ago on Google
Went along to experience the live music the Clutha is so famous for. The band (The Best Bad Influence) was great. The bar wasn't too busy, prices are reasonable and there was a plethora of bar staff on call. Recommended, I'll be back again soon

First time attending the cluthia it's always been on the hit list! Plenty of outdoor space to sit on nice days. Plenty of room inside between the two bars. We were in the bar that didn't have live music & could still hear the music well without it being to loud. Good selection of drinks, prices were reasonable for Glasgow & the mixers were out of a branded bottle. None of this rubbish draught. While we never had food I've still given it a 5, seen plates getting served and the food looked unreal! Will definitely be going for a fooods one day! I believe they also do a pint & a pizza for £8.50 which is a great price! Bar staff & management all had a good way about them. Interacting with there customers & making them feel welcome! 🐴

Popped in when staying in Glasgow for a few days and will be going back on my next visit. I managed to catch a really good covers band called Three Card Trick 👏🏻 The bar staff are friendly and happy to help. Good selection of alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks. Recommend to anyone passing through Glasgow.

First visit to the Clutha since the helicopter accident. It's nothing like what I remembered, the original pub is now a storeroom and the back yard is the pub.... Saying that, it was a cracking pint of Guinness and live music, so good for a Tuesday night. The weekends are pretty busy and worth trying to get along to hear one if the many good bands playing there....

I have not long finished another enjoyable gig at Clutha. The bar has seen no changes since i last reviewed. The staff are amazingly helpful. They have a great sound engineer. I stated before its not a luxurious pub but it has a great atmosphere and the best pizza. You will without doubt have a good time at Clutha.😏🎤 After another great gig last night there are no changes to report. A very unique venue with some of the best live music in Glasgow. Can't be better. Saturday 12/8/23. No chances, just another great night in one of Glasgow's most unique venues.🤗 Great gig tonight 11/11/23. watching jazz group Planet Groove.Excellent night was enjoyed by everyone.

Such a wonderful experience, we were overjoyed with the extensive menu and large helpings, my friend Zoolesh counted 1329 fries on her plate and I had only two less, the steaks were the biggest I have ever seen and I have eaten steak in Texas! The only fault I can find was that my heel kept sticking on a piece of chewing gum which I never noticed just under my chair. Un fortunately the heel repair for my Madagascar lizard leather space shoes comes to a hefty £7387.27 which the pub has declined to contribute to. A great pity, so I'm afraid eating there in the future is a no no!

Love the new menu. Staff great. Only thing that let's it down is tables are not cleaned in between customers. After being in an hour none of the tables were wiped, looked dirty, and there was a change of customer. Candles and menus put on the dirty tables. Great for music.
