Yeah decent place for a drink, could do with a few more things on tap but staff were great and its a good place to grab a beer and chill out with friends in the city centre. The background noise is the right level so you can actually have a conversation which always works!

Fantastic service. Greeted the moment my boyfriend and I walked in the door. We had to be seated at the bar initially because the place was full, they were quick to serve us our drinks and provide menus, then the moment a table became available they grabbed us :). Food was absolutely delicious. Best food and service I've received since arriving to the city a week ago. Would go again and again and would highly recommend.

Brilliant service: friendly and chilled staff. Came here for lunch at approx 11:30 on a Saturday morning and had a full breakfast which was fresh, tasty and well-prepared. We were the only one there at that time with my friend so we did not have to wait long for our food and drinks. It's also located in a convenient and nice area. The interior is cool and the atmosphere is cozy. There are some tables available outside as well (covered terrace.) Their prices are moderate so personally I consider both the drinks and food as good value for money. I can recommend the Bar91.

Maybe we didn't get there at the right time. It's kind of a pub but we were there for some eating . The menu was limited and we expected very good food but that was not the case . Live cool dj mixing..

Cool gaff in the Merchant City area of Glasgow. Fab selection of beers, spirits and wines in a dark relaxed environment. Great bar highly recommended on the fringes of Merchant Sq, if it’s too busy there then get in here for a sherbet or 5.

Well organised staff - there was good safe distancing measures in place. Staff were helpful and kept the beer coming by keeping an eye tables. Limited food menu but something for everyone and food was really good. Prices are also good with a hearty main course for around £10.

Called into Glasgow especially to Bar 91 on our way back from a northern camping trip. We love the food quality and presentation,the bar also has really good drink choices. Michael and the guys always make you feel welcome. Got to be one of our favourite places to eat in Glasgow. Highly recommended.

I love this little bar in town, has all the atmosphere and feel of a local, without compromising on quality. Great value drinks & perfectly enjoyable fois menu. I make a point of visiting whenever I'm out for a drink in town now.

Five of us had a full Scottish breakfast. It was well cooked and presented well. There was plenty of it. The staff was very nice even putting up a couple of umbrellas as it started to rain as we where eating outside.

Even though it was a Sunday and the bar was almost empty, we had a great time. The beer was cheap and well poured and the staff was extremely friendly - they even ordered deep fried mars bars for us to try out because I brought it up in conversation. An evening to remember 5/5

We stumbled across this place and were happy to get out of the rain to take advantage of their soup and sandwich deal for a late lunch. Great atmosphere, cruisy music, friendly staff and we loved the soup and sandwich. We also enjoyed gin n tonic and beers. Highly recommend👍

The vibe is great, bartender was super helpful and friendly, and the cocktails are well done. We had the espresso martini and guastato spritz.

Decent bar in Merchant city. Good prices (compared to Edinburgh). Nice when large front windows are opened with a busy street outside. Also have outdoor seating. Friendly service.

Went for lunch yesterday. It was freezing as all the doors fully opened but then closed the side door but still cold. Ordered a chicken burger which I had to send back. Unable to bite it as it was overcooked. Changed order to a beef burger to which I was asked did I want a fresh bun?? Considering the waiter picked the chicken burger out with his gingers to return to the kitchen of course I wanted a fresh bun! This was nice though had to eat after my partner had already finished his fish and chips by time it came. We got 2 drinks to compensate which was fair enough though left half as too cold to drink it! Staff were pleasant and helpful and apologetic but I won't b back.

First visit here. Great cocktails at fairly standard prices, a good selection of beer, whisky etc. I didn't have chance to try the Flea craft beers, so I'll need to make another trip.

Great location. Food lovely. Unfortunately we all had to eat out food with jackets and hats on (not the Xmas kind). They had the air conditioning on with the temp outside of 0 degrees. Would have been ok during the summer, but not mid December. Staff were apologetic but didn't turn it off.

Always will be one of fav city centre pubs, you need to try their Italian beers, go for the Belgian style one!

My favourite bar in Glasgow. Every time I visit we head for Bar 91, order a pint of St Mungo and sit drinking it happy to be in one of the friendliest bars and cities in the world! Great food too and really well priced.

Can't fault the staff. Even put the price of a pint of Tennants Lager down from £4.50. Zto £2.50 Sunday & Tuesday to support local people. Ps food and staff are just a joy. Kieran & Christian are very hospitable. Staff are amazing please 🙏 don't forget to tip them well. Must bar to drink and eat.

Been past bar 91 few times went for food at effes great food and great atmosphere when outside but only issue is with the bar 91. Music too loud and the boom boom music very inconsiderate of them and owners like this bring area down feel sorry for Indian restaurant upstairs

We popped in for a quick snack and were not disappointed, staff so friendly, the club sandwich we shared was delicious, the glaswegin and lemonade most welcome 😀 Would have stayed longer but, had an appointment to go to. We'll be back soon and will bring our friends,

Great place. Was out and about in the merchant city and came across it. Lively and trendy place. Both food and drink can be had here. Staff very friendly and always happy to help.

This is an established Merchant City bar which has just been taken over by new owners. On the plus side, the kitchen hours are much more regular than they were, but at the expense of a more limited menu. This makes perfect sense in the current climate. The food is still good and they have an excellent selection of drinks.

Friendly bar, great service, tasty food & good beer. I've been coming here since Uni and love coming back any time I'm in Glasgow.

Decent food and good choice of beers (even dark ales). Surprisingly quite a few Asian tourists at times. Maybe this is the most Asian food choice in the area.

Normally come in for drinks but came in for lunch this day. Was busy but had a couple of tables free. Service was quick and friendly. Menu has some of your favourites as well as a few different things. I went for the special of bream which was tasty. This place is also just good for drinks in the evening. Recommended.
