Good pub, was there for Scotland's pre match refreshments, nice clean well staffed pub, put live music on for the game. Recommended.

Pub at at St Enoch's square just a minute from the subway. It has what must be one of the biggest covered beer gardens in the city centre. Very useful as outdoor seating is required if you want an alcoholic drink. Hopefully not long now before we can back inside.

Me and my sister visited this bar on Friday the 9th of June, we arrived 12.45am as my sister has a disability and haven’t been out for 10 years. The staff said they refused to sell us drink after 2 drinks and were unaware of the disability act, my sister can hardly walk and the bar staff were nasty and stated we had 2 much to drink, I explained we just left home at 12.30 am as my sister took panic attacks and nearly never made it out!! The staff were laught at her and made out we had enough to drink!! This bar is horrible and the staff are not trained in the disability act, horrible place to go and we will certainly be going public with the service and humiliation and disrespect from the bar staff, Do not go near as this place is horrible And do not respect curstomers, all because my sisters mobility is not good Horrible staff

Good selection of beers on draught. Very spacious beer garden. Not the best view from the garden but it's the city centre so to be expected. The burgers are brilliant and fantastic value for money.

Can't really give this place a bad review can you!? Selection of beers, massive beer garden with an excellent mural. All right in the city centre. On a sunny day, a great place for a pint and even in the rain, the beer garden can be covered. Can't say I've had the food but never had a bad experience!

Second time here, great service and food is very good and decently priced. Mac & cheese is very delicious and the Balmoral burger (Bacon, Haggis, Chicken and tomato) is a must.

Came for Hogmanay. Staff were really friendly and the drinks were good value with a great selection. Background music great too. Very nice bar, doesn’t look much from the outside but pleasantly surprised!

I had never been in this pub before. I phoned to see if they were dog friendly. They said yes. When I got there they said we're not dog friendly - we're very dog friendly. Great atmosphere, brilliant music and even better staff. I went in on my own (female ) (was meeting someone later) and felt welcomed and safe. When my sis in law came in we ordered food. Lovely. My only complaint - I checked a Europe lotto ticket and didn't win!!! Will definitely be back xx

Best pub in Glasgow City Centre. Staff are brilliant, food tasty and plentiful and prices cheaper than many similar pubs. Always gave a fab day or night out in here and it's our first choice when meeting friends in Glasgow

Had dinner here with friends. I must admit that the pizza is way better than I expected: maybe slightly overcooked but definitely tasty and properly made. The staff is very friendly and the beer garden is nice. The prices are reasonable. I recommend this place!

Impressed at how this place has turned itself around from past visits. Covid measures in place and followed to a T so felt comfortable and yet still a great atmosphere in the outside marquee! The romans pizzas on offer are actual belters and they have so many beer options and gins to choose from to suit everybody.

Quick drink on a business trip at about three thirty, beer is good its very quiet and the garden was closed due to the weather which means vaping on the street which isn't ideal but not their fault. I'd say this pub is a little tired and very generic lots of tvs for sport if that's your thing.

Super friendly staff earns the fourth star. Food is okay. Staffer gladly stowed our suitcases when our rental wasn’t available as planned. Locked them in the office while we toured Auchentoshan. Turned what could have been an tough afternoon into a pleasant start to vacation. Couldn’t say thanks enough.

First time here. Watched the Scotland and Poland game , great atmosphere. Staff not really interested in customers more interested in hanging all over each other and going in and out of the toilet. One of the bar staff kept demanding the music was changed to her choice although customers had requested.

Prime location, 100 yards from the subway entrance. Nice, clean interior. Vast, well maintained outside area with plenty of seating either in shade or sunshine. Massive tent for the rainy days with lighting and heating. Competitive price. Very good choice of draught beers and other drinks. Toilets well kept. Fantastic place to spend time with friends or on your own

I enjoy this place, sit and read with a few pints, relax and prices reasonable. Staff clean tables when you ask them to rather promptly, loos not bad. Service very good. Very efficient.

Nice beer garden out back but the pub was placing loud dance music (so loud you have to scream to the bartender) - yet the clientele were all 40+ years old and we're just standing around having a pleasant chat. Can't help think that owners/managers should reconsider their music choice.

  • 5/5 Jacqui M. 2 years ago on Google
Very warm welcome to Glasgow at the Hootenanny! We wished we were staying overnight and we would stayed for a few more! We had left the pub over the road without buying a drink as a rude welcome there!

Lovely staff, after seeing that my partner was disabled, they came to the table to take our drinks order. My partner ordered a baileys hot chocolate which he says was amazing. They allowed our wee dog in too. Defo be back 😀🍻

Not a fan of this place. Only due to a certain element that 'live' close by. They maybe should have door staff on all the time. The food was okay, pint I had was good. The beer garden is huge. I think this pub is on the clockwork orange challenge

Yet again introducing one of my friends to another famous haunt. Haven't been in since before lockdown. Staff were very quick to serve. Prices competitive with other establishments.

Glasgow branch of this popular Scottish chain offers a great range of whiskies, which I enjoyed. I didn't stay to eat, but it's especially popular for its atmosphere and live events, but I don't have first hand experience. Give it a shot.

  • 4/5 Ben B. 1 year ago on Google
Allow you to play your own music at the bar! What more could you want? It’s a bit out of the way so if my group hadn’t been there it would likely have been empty! But you can’t win them all

Fantastic pub with friendly bar staff, always feel welcome when in great live music too, the stewards Jordan and Julie are an asset to the pub too keeping everyone safe and always greeting people with a smile

Nice if not fancy hostelry. Service from bar staff was fine, 1 pint of Tennents and a small Sauvignon Blanc £8... Has a food menu but noticed that they actually bring in food from Roman Pizza/Patty Cake burgers (which it does state on menu inside and out). Overall not a bad pub..

  • 1/5 Me, Myself and I. 1 year ago on Google
The place stank of dampness and stale beer. Atmosphere was good until a psycho woman who'd fallen out with her husband and thought it was okay to try it on with mine....bloody steamer!!!!!! I won't rush back!

Great service, excellent food! Served in takeaway boxes, which was great as the portions are large and you get to take them home without having to ask. Try the dirty fries - so many choices. I had the blue magic and wow!

  • 4/5 Ijaz S. 11 months ago on Google
The place is a little grimmy, your average pub but the food is must try. The margarita pizza is phenomenal. The food is supplied by the restaurant nextdoor so is top notch. Drinks are reasonably priced aswell and people are friendly. The beer garden outside is warm aswell even in the winter and the sporting event of the evening is always on(including the F1). Would recommend for easy drinks.

It's a very popular pub with Scotland football fans so has a great atmosphere. Bar service is also good indoors even when it is busy. Unfortunately service outside was very slow and there were lots of people smoking in the marquee area so it wasn't very pleasant.

Called in to warm up, during our visit to the Christmas market (poor) nice pizza, they also let in the dogs my cousin had with them. Friendly staff.

It's a Cute looking pub that has seen better days. It currently has little to recommend it. The service was OK. The decor is tidy but dated. The food would have been provided by outside catering. We all chose to just have a drink and ho elsewhere. Items on the menus were OK but uninspiring.
