Basement bar with live music. It’s always really busy so sometimes hard to get a comfortable table but on the flip side also has quite a good atmosphere when other places are empty

I mean now this is rapidly becoming my favourite pub in Glasgow.. I might just be timing it well, but the place is chilled out, decent selection of drinks, excellent for watching the football..unique layouts and a really nice and welcoming atmosphere. I suppose I am glad they don't do food otherwise I would probably never leave 😁

Went to Kitty’s on Saturday 18th Nov with friends as part of our annual Christmas Day. We had booked a table for the MAIN area where the music is on. Instead we were given a table in a “bothy” which was. Very disappointing as wee felt excluded from the main area and entertainment . When we complained we were told although we booked the main area we should have put a note on the booking saying where we wanted to be seated as apparently the bothy despite not being in the main area is classed as this . ??? So thanks very much Kitty’s fir spoiling what should have been a great night. Time to re think your bookings is it not 😡

I can't give it 10 stars. Thanks for the fun. My waifu wants to stay in Glasgow to live here because of this pub. One love!

Absolutely stinking bouncers who are on total power trips. Completely ruins the vibe of a place that's meant to be good fun and I won't be coming back. I'd recommend everyone tries somewhere more welcoming.

Excellent atmosphere with great bands. Great fresh Hop House beer and good price at £4.20 in 2020. Contactless us a minimum of £5. Showing Sky Sports, BT Sport, Premier Sports on lots of TVs (13 HD screens) for sports, including some GAA, soccer, golf and Wimbledon tennis. Live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Air conditioning units in ceiling was previously not working but now works a little, but still roasting. The unit on Wall above the bar works well.

kitty o shittys more like. Bouncers absolutely horrible for no reason, not worth wasting your time here. Sexism at its finest, me and my friends were not even drunk and people who were 10x drunker were getting let in. Absolute joke, disgusted at this place 0/10.

Always a great night. Live music, old songs that everyone knows, lots of dancing - brilliant.

Great people and great cider. My friends are telling me that beer is also great. Crisps are najs.

Excellent bar everytime I go there brilliant atmosphere, staff nice enough, bands good, definitely one of my favourites in Glasgow. You need to experience it for yourself.

Best pub I’ve ever had the pleasure of being in , the boy on the live music was tremendous, staff were very friendly and helpful and the fellow punters were all a great laugh. Great way to get over Hibs getting beat

  • 5/5 Grace B. 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic bar with great service and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The live music on the night I went was what made me stay for a few more than I had intended! I would happily return anytime I'm back in Glasgow 😃

Lovely pub , staff are really nice & friendly. They will keep your drink topped up for sure. 🤣😜. I was there watching football and they have loads of TV's around the place . They also have new booths opened which make watching football with pals soo pleasant. There is also free WiFi coz network can be tricky as the pub is in a basement. Still I cant wait to go back 🤙👍👍

I don't really leave reviews for bars but this place is brilliant. I went here with my partner last night and we had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was incredible, the staff were extremely friendly and everybody in the bar seemed to be having a good time. Great live music too.

Live music in a proper Irish bar in the heart of Glasgow. Very busy but very cosy. Staff are lovely and good craic all round. Plenty of seats and nice cubby holes when on a date. Last time I had food it was sublime but in there most times for a drink and a dance. Very welcoming, homey barplace.

Nope not for me or my friends, booked a table weeks ago for Saturday 18th Nov for our Christmas day out, asked for middle of pub as we wanted to see musicians who were on, was told we had booked early enough for a good seat, on arriving we were put into"the shed" which was very claustrophobic and no view of musicians, after asking to be moved we were told we should have been more specific on where we wanted to be seated, you can't be more specific than saying middle of pub with view of musicians, this wasted our day out so would say yous really need to review your booking systems 😡

Popped in there for a bit rest from walking the city and stayed for hours. Staff is amazingly friendly, great hospitality. Had a blast with the other costumers while watching football and listening to great live music. Super dig friendly, got a waterbowl before our beers arrived 😂👍. Best pub experience on our scotland journey so far🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤘

I had an amazing time here as I’ve not been to an Irish pub in a long time and I was getting home sick for my country of Ireland 🇮🇪 and got a lil bit of relief when I came in here! I got myself some Guinness and some fellow people who were kind gifted myself and my pal a “baby Guinness “ which I’d never tried before and absolutely love! I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was like back home I can’t wait to come back again hopefully with a different pal for a different experience! Highly recommend coming from an Irish woman

Basement bar, stranding room only when certain matches are on. Always a good atmosphere and great pint. Just about the best pint Guinness this side of the Irish Sea. While small plenty of nooks and crannies if you’re wanting a quiet drink at other times.

  • 5/5 Jim S. 10 months ago on Google
Great location in town, very central and as near a Dublin pub as you will find in Glasgow! Cracking pint of Guinness and greatly very singer for a Saturday afternoon day out! Highly recommended!

The salmon was really good and well cooked. The tiramissu dessert was really nice! Also, the staff is friendly, thanks to the Polish waitress and Italian waiter!

Place has a great atmosphere. It was sadly ruined by a very rude girl behind the bar (blonde with a fringe). A gentlemen offered to allow me to be served first and she stated “no thanks” went and sorted her hair and came back to the gentlemen again who pointed to me. She then proceeded to serve me at this point - not sure what it was all about but very rude.

I can't complain but it was really packed out but there's waitress service so that was good the guys on the door were really nice I could not fault them thanks to them we got in which I can't say for a lot off places I enjoyed it it does play Irish folk music so I enjoyed the night was really good XX 💞💞💞🤗🤗🤗❤️

Great bar , great music. Never smelt toilets as bad as that though. Ok so second time round, loved the place again. Toilets smell better

  • 3/5 Daniel L. 1 year ago on Google
Staff are very polite and welcoming. The atmosphere is cool too. The only negative (and it’s a big one), is that the prices are over double elsewhere.

Fantastic staff and brilliant atmosphere for the world cup final, music great as well

  • 1/5 Helena 1 year ago on Google
Went here for new years, bouncers wouldn’t let us in as we had apparently had too many drinks. Despite having been completely sober. Unprofessional and really not worth going here.

  • 5/5 Angela L. 4 years ago on Google
Great music 🎶 and soo friendly

  • 4/5 angela m. 1 year ago on Google
Very busy evertime I have been. You need to book a table if you want a seat as it's packed out. Live music seems to be on most nights. Great atmosphere.

Great little bar. Food was awesome, and the atmosphere was lively and friendly. For a city centre venue, it felt like it could be "the local" in a small town or village.

  • 4/5 Lee-Ann R. 5 years ago on Google
Usually love this place. Nice Guinness and great food, but no chilli for nachos on this visit. Gutted. Wont stop me going back though.

  • 3/5 James M. 4 years ago on Google
Quite cramped. It has live music which is quite good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere during football matches. It has individual booths that are good if you go with a small crowd.

Service and drinks are good and good prices however they are asking you just now to give them your bank card to keep behind the bar as a tab. I felt really uncomfortable with this and thought it was unnecessary
