Absolutely incredible weekday deals. Top notch steak, poutine and decent hot dogs. Plus a fantastic vibe. One of my favourite places in Glasgow. Earsplittingly loud later on but a great place for a drink with a great crowd.

Bloc is a Glasgow institution. Good food, good music, good drinks choices. The veg/vegan menu is extensive too. Between us, we had burgers, poutine and wings. All pretty decent but some dishes were just ok (Halloween wings were fine, macaroni needed more seasoning, poutine gravy was too salty). Nothing enough to warrant complaining about, but could be enhanced to make it amazing. The tonic in my gin was flat (probably from the gun) and they replaced it straight away with a fresh one and bottled gin - I thought this was really good. Service was good and it was tidy and clean inside. Well worth a visit!

Went for lunch with friends. The food is really good, which is why we went. But the service is some of the most awful I’ve experienced. Non existent even though they tell you to sit down & they’ll come over. No one came to take our food order for 20 minutes & only did when I had to go to the bar to ask for a drink. We could see the staff members chatting to their friends instead or going outside for a vape while we sat there waiting for someone to come over for our order. One staff member was incredibly rude & sullen. Not friendly in any way, shape or form & treats you like an inconvenience. I really loved bloc in the past, the service & staff have always been friendly & great. But it’s far from that now. If it hadn’t been for the really nice food we’d have just left & went somewhere else because the attitude towards customers has become diabolical now. So sorry we interrupted your social event with your friends by wanting to come in for some lunch. How dare we.

I really enjoyed this place. Good atmosphere, good food and drinks. We had the Buff-ting wings (which were incredible), side of Old Bay Spiced Fries, Frickles, and Pepper Poutine. The wings were AMAZING, they were like right in the edge of how spicy I can tolerate (felt like close to hot wings from the US, but a little lower). They just had a great flavor. Also, they're the full wings (drumstick and flat together), so if you get the small with 5, it's almost like 10 wings, and large with 8 is nearly 16, but not quite since the drum is a little smaller than a standard drum by itself would be. But it's more than you'd think when they say 5 or 8 wings. My wife enjoyed the Poutine but didn't realize the Frickles were made with sweet pickles, so just be aware of that so you're not caught off guard.

Great food. Was really positively surprised as didn't expect much from a pub. The staff couldn't be nicer and the only reason for taking away one star was the live music that was not the best when we visited but maybe we were just not very lucky.

Great food, and even better staff. Could only access the menu once I had scanned the track and trace QR code and submitted my details which is a great idea! I'm so glad this place exists, especially as I am vegetarian and lactose intolerant and they have plenty veggie/vegan options without compromising on quality!

Been here a few times. Food is Good. Tried the durty burger was good but we didn't like the gravy. Hotdogs are banging. The irn bru pakora was OK. Vladimir poutine chips. Definitely not worth £7.95 would definitely go back to try other things. On the menu. Staff are friendly place has a good feel to it. Please change the slaw back to the way it was.

Great burguer and chips! A bit too spicy the latter and the music was way too loud (I know, I'm a sound engineer) but the food is worth getting here. Extra star for funny menu!

They do amazing deal during the week! We had the mac n cheese for only £4!! There was live music on also which was good. 2 pints and a mac n cheese for 11 quid, can't argue with that 😁

One of the best burgers I've ever had. A short wait at the bar for a table, but then the food was brought out quickly after ordering. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, five stars all round.

I was not optimistic having tried bread meats bread a couple of days ago but these girls truly delivered. Amazing service, all really nice, portions are huge for what you pay. I'm really looking forward to go again an try other of the burgers with some live music. The only thing that through me off a bit is that the Hail Seitan burger (vg) has kind of a spicy sauce which does not match the flavour. It's still a delicious burger but I would have gone for a milder sauce, like a mayo. Fries were very cheap for what you get. I enjoyed it a lot. Keep up the good work!

Great music venue, nice food and good selection of drinks at the bar, table service and great atmosphere. Handy for Buchanan Bus station and central station and Queen Street rail stations aren't too far away. Car park across the road for off street parking. Regular live music . Fab place! Great food, drinks and service! As 3 flexitarians who try to eat meat free but have meat loving friends, the fact that this veggie/vegan menu is the same size as the meat menu is just amazing! Plus the burger ans sausage are of the moving mountains variety (the best) I can also recommend the limoncello spritz! Very reasonably priced too!

Food took 3 hours to be delivered, unacceptable. Once it finally arrived both of our meals were burned beyond recognition. Its insane that the restaurant somehow managed to send this food out of the kitchen.

Extremely slow service, people ordering same food at the other table seemed to be served faster. Cheap meals, steak for a fiver on Wednesday is a good deal, though waiting time is too long, staff appeared to be annoyed with me trying to pay at the bar as I was in a rush.

If this wasnt a basement bar id have given it a 5⭐️ The service was spot on, atentive but not overbearing. The menu was creative instead of your run of the mill pub grub. Decenr beers and a few cocktails, the ones we had were nice. The food was really tasty, mac and cheese wasnt exactly creamy but it tasted good the bao buns and brisket were fantastic and the portions were on the big side, id happily come back for a few more beers and to try some other stuff off the menu

It's a bar with amazing food, innovative, amazing food. I loved it all but my favorite was the deep fried sticky toffee pudding. Yes, it was delicious

Managed to get a table, which is hard as it's a very popular place. Had a few drinks before we headed into our next pub. Music is always good, staff always friendly. Loved the fact that for about 15mins of the time we spent in the bar they turned the lights down very low and played very heavy metal music 👌👌.

You can never go wrong with bloc, I've had both meat and veggie options during different times I have visited and never had any issues. Always a great range of beers available to to sample and great staff.

Tiny wee nightclub but a great venue, plenty acts on with an open mic night on Mondays and bands through the week.

Bloc has a great range in vegan foods and have done the Best vegan burger that I've ever tried. Great table service and very polite staff. Would highly recommend.

I had Mad Mac Burger and it was fantastic. The girls from the staff were very nice and attentive. Five stars!

Great pub a good find during a recent visit, friendly staff, good food and good tunes three visits so far and certainly won't be the last. This review was from my first visit. I have now been back a good few times since my last review and I still love the place and the staff they are all so friendly and the music is great so different. Do not miss out a visit or you will be disappointed guaranteed.

I love this place. It's always bustling, good vegan food. One star lost for the pizza being a bit meh, but check out the bean poutine and the staff are lovely.

Incredibly priced daily deals on food. It's hard to eat for less in the city centre of Glasgow, especially at this quality. Plenty of veggie friendly options too, along with a great selection of beers. It's even good for live music.

A bad like no other! The food is amazing and each day of the week has a different deal! Excellent drinks selection and friendly staff. The music programme is varied and interesting and the gigs always have an intimate and unique atmosphere. The contrast between bloc in the daytime and bloc at night is incredible! A true gem of Glasgow!

The food is very good, the week deals are awesome. But the quantity start to decrease, I took a "12oz steak" that was half the size than the last time, also the ice cream was smaller than the last time. The Welcome is very Bad, no thank you, no smiles. I was loving this place, but now I dont know
