Very good restaurant located in the center of Glasgow. It's oriented on steak menus and this theme is following also the restaurant interiors and decorations. However, there are also options in the menu for those who want to try something different. There is also fix menu price for non-peak days. The food was delicious and cake absolute heaven.

An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly didn't feel the need. The lettuce wedge that accompanies the steak comes with a choice of 4 dressings and I demolished mine quickly. The desserts were also absolutely beautiful with the vanilla ice cream accompanying the sticky toffee pudding being sublime. The cocktails are very tasty (though strong!) and reasonably priced. Overall yes, the restaurant is a little pricey, however we felt it was well worth the money. A special mention to our server, Courtenay, who was extremely helpful, chatty and full of recommendations. We couldn't have asked for a better server, she was amazing. Definitely one to visit if you're in the city and looking for a fantastic steak!

I've been to Miller and Carter a few times and still cannot fault it. Tonights service was amazing, our server Bob could not do enough for us. On an especially busy evening (new years eve) service was efficient and without fault. Thank you so much for a lovely evening, I cannot recommend enough 10/10 and I'll definitely be returning xx

Stunning building, grand dining room and plenty of space between tables. Pleasant atmosphere and our server was lovely. Now the food. Possibly one of, if not, the best fillet steaks I've ever had. Also this was on a Sunday so it was about £35 per person for 3 courses, so good. Also the desert was delicious, the ice cream with mango sorbet and raspberry compote, comes in a shell of mango chocolate, highly recommend. Also the onion loaf is their answer to onion rings and I'm converted!

Great experience, our waiter, Martin, was a darling. Good food, Good drinks. Only complaint for the whole meal was when my husband said, "those croutons were a bit too soft to bother with". 🤣🤣🤣

Came here for my partners birthday We booked a table in advance and showed up on time, we didn't get seated till 15mins or so later which was a bit annoying considering we booked a table. However the excellent service made up for it! Our waiter was so cheery and very informative when it came to what goes with what on the menu. We had the butchers block between us and a small dessert to share. Both were super fresh and steaks cooked to our liking - rare. Overall it was a great birthday dinner :) Will definitely be returing in the future.

The perfect date. Loads of prawns in the starter and our steaks were cooked beautifully, the food came out really quickly too. Long island ice tea was a 10/10! Shout out to our server Mags who was fantastic, really friendly, warm and very informative. Can't wait to return.

Great restaurant. I don’t care much for steak and I was pleasantly surprised by the other options available on the menu. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely go back. On a side note - toilets were very interesting as you have to go into the basement and through the old bank safe door!

Food was absolutely phenomenal, we ordered the butchers block and some sides and everything was absolutely perfect and presented really well. The cocktails were tasty too. Our waiting staff was faultless too. Had an amazing visit and already can't wait to be back. We went for my birthday and they gave me a little birthday plate with strawberries and chocolate. Couldn't fault the visit at all.

We went for my partners birthday, we had the Sunday set 3 course meal and paid the extra supplement for a better steak. Overall the food was nice. We had bruschetta to start which was amazing. Then we had steak as the main, my steak personally was quite fatty, partner's was fine tho. The chips and other items which came with the meal were very good. Also got a good deal of 3F£10 on sides and they didn't disappoint. To finish we had dessert which was very very nice. Drinks included colas and cocktails. Overall a really really good afternoon out, pricey but well worth the money. The service from the staff was fantastic. I can't wait to go again and try something different off the menu.

Beautiful old bank turned into a fabulous steak house. We decided to treat ourselves on our last night in Glasgow. All steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We would definitely come back. One of the best steaks I've ever had. I was raised on a farm in the States that raised grass-fed, grain finished cattle.....haven’t had a steak like this since I left the farm.

Slightly disappointed with this one, have been before and successfully walked up and was able to get a table and the food was fine. Another time, walked up restaurant empty yet asked for a table and was told there were none available and instantly dismissed. Appreciate that there might have been bookings, but could have provided at least some explanation. On the most recent venture attended for the festive menu which was fairly disappointing. Hidden charges, confusing menu and average food for what the cost per head was.

Faultless. The rib eye was an experience I won't forget in a hurry. Impeccable standard of cuisine, and first-class service. Hugely enjoyed.

Food was, as always, excellent. We tried the seafood sharing platter - delicious. Everyone ate their fill - you will not leave here feeling hungry. There was enough for 3 people. We also had the meat sharing starter - another dish to recommend. Our server was charming and helpful. If there is one teeny suggestion - make shortbread on the premises rather than using biscuits from a pack with the tea.

Despite being a chain Miller and Carter lived up to expectations of fine dining. Beautiful building. Ambience peaceful despite the size. Staff were very efficient and helpful but not intrusive. Food was excellent and steak pri es reasonable. Steak was cooked to perfection. Dessert first class. Highly recommend and am booking up for a return visit.

Great lunch date had at Miller & Carter today. Nicola our server was incredibly attentive, even going out of her way to get the recipe for me for my favourite Chocolate Orange Old Fashioned. Food was superb as usual and the steak was perfectly cooked to order. 50 day aged grain fed rib eye is nothing short of spectacular when cooked medium. If you like a medium rare, then I would suggest that you have this cooked medium as its a hefty lump of beef! I'm not a fan of adding a sauce to a ribeye as it masks the flavour of the beef, but make sure you get the beef dripping sauce just to dunk the chips in!!!! So good I was tempted to drink the remnants! The good lady wife opted for the sea bass which she duly polished off in record time! All in all a great lunch and once again, many thanks to Nicola for her efforts and attentiveness today.

Fantastic meal. Shared the meat platter with my wife to start which was very tasty. Then had the t bone medium/rare. Was outstanding. Server was very knowledgeable and did a cracking job.

This restaurant looks like it was formally a bank. Lovely decor. We went on date night when the special was for two. Very good food and service. The bathrooms are downstairs in a bank vault and is unisex. Men in back of room women in front. Are all stalls and very nice. You are not in Kansas anymore if this is an issue. Found it pretty cool.

Excellent food and excellent staff. Perfect location for a fancy meal or a date. I thought the staff were very accomodating and helpful both with hosting us, and in suggesting things to order. I order a blue sirloin and it was the best steak I've had in Glasgow without a doubt. Also all the food that was included as part of a standard steak meal was brilliant so it was great value for money.

Great food cracking staff

Decided to try M&C as part of EOTHO and the experience was amazing. Amy was a great waitress and really helpful when choosing how to have our steaks done. She was attentive and even let me get my steak heated up more. Espresso cocktail was proper espresso. Would recommend the chipotle chicken starter. T-bone steak is highly recommended. Well spaced out and santiser before entering and at toilet locations. Felt really safe and thank-you M&C for the great food and evening!

Lovely restaurant very nice clean .The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had scallops,fillet steak and brownies and ice cream .The steak was perfectly cooked delicious. They do a date night menu on a Thursday £25 we had to pay £7 extra for the fillet steak .

The food was lovely. One of the nicest steaks I've ever had (I ordered the 50 day aged ribeye). It was great together with the beef dripping sauce and the stuffed bone marrow. Would definitely recommend. Our server was very friendly and helpful. My wife had ordered a new cocktail that was being trialled and afterwards she was asked for some feedback. After she gave it, the bar manager kindly made another cocktail, slightly differently, for my wife to try. Top marks.

Couldn't fault our visit yesterday in any way. Loads of space between tables, constant cleaning and use of sanitiser by staff. Even the card machine was cleaned after every use. Food was excellent too, no lunchtime menu but plenty of choice. Our waitress, Nicola, was friendly, efficient and helpful. Five stars to her too. Will be back soon.

Enjoyable experience set in a lovely location. Service was excellent but I wasn't blown away by the quality of the food. The quality of the wine left something to be desired given the market place for tasty and affordable vintages and the food was of good quality but lacked that extra 'oomph if what would be expected for a renowned steak house.

Service was excellent, Connor was incredibly attentive especially considering the extra pressure placed upon hospitality staff currently. Food was amazing, all our party were very much impressed. Don't skip dessert!

We have booked this table for my Birthday to go to a Restaurant that has been recommended to us, we dine out often but not been yet as heard different things about Restaurant, But this morning 18th September I have received a text if I wish to cancel but then a text we expect table back in 1hr 45 mins , We enjoy our wine so don't like our food and wine rushed this now feels like that , happy birthday, Why was this not said during booking we might be finished but now feels I will be watching the time .. Thank y, ou We have now visited the restaurant and god you can't fault it service food excellent, My only problem i just spent nearly 200 on food and and loved it but still was told 2hrs is standard for a table ,, Have to say lov Miller Carter but won't go back even with great food as hate to be told time to go at 9.30 ,

Steak was OK, nothing special.

With the sole exception of The Surf & Turf Bar and Grill in Disneyworld's Saratoga Springs Resort, Florida, this was the best steak I have eaten. One negative I noticed on my two visits is the smell in the stairwell leading down to the toilets which smells like what I assume is raw beef.

A really amazing experience, can not fault anything, worth the money spent on the top class food and friendly service 👌

Usual excellent food quality & service

This place has really improved since my first visit 2 years ago. The service has always been good but the quality of meat was somewhat questionable compared to other top end steakhouses in the city.... however i was really impressed with the food on Friday Emma served us and was brilliant. Very attentive without being overbearing and was knowledgeable about the Gluten Free dishes which was really appreciated.

Food excellent but the visit was spoiled by the main door continually being left open. We highlight the issue to a member of the management team but he basically said there was nothing could be done. Really disappointed by his maner and inability to resolve the issue.

The service provided by our server Georgie was fantastic. We went here as my mother was retiring, Georgie went out of her way to get to know my mum and cheer her up a bit as she was a little sad about leaving work. She was funny attentive and her service was just five stars even if everything else had been bad, which it wasn't, Georgies service would have shown through. I hope management read this and reward her. The hostess at the door was also lovely as a booking error meant we only had a table for 2 booked for 6 of us but she got the issue resolved for us despite how busy they were. The food was phenomenal... There was nothing ont he table that didn't taste fantastic! Makes it easier to part with the money for the slightly expensive price tag for the food when everything is as fantastic as it was. The restaurant itself was stylish and the massive vault door at the toilet entrance was worth a look on its own. A fantastic remnant of the buildings past. All in all a great night!

This place has it all for the meat lovers. The food quality, the class, the atmosphere and service. Perfectly converted old bank into a restaurant. You will not find many of this around in the world, specially not so well made and aesthetically pleasant. We had the Butcher Block 27 OZ in 3 and it was enough for us. We company all with a nice Argentinean Malbec. We order also some salads and it came with a free iceberg lettuce. Don't forget to visit the toilets which are in the old vault and they still preserve the original iron doors in the entrance.

Amazing steaks! So perfectly cooked with a good amount of sides. It's not cheap, but definitely good quality. Cocktails are lovely and we even managed dessert. Highly recommended if you're looking for a treat or special occasions.

Great food and atmosphere. Our server Hardeep was the nicest girl ,friendly and helpful. Was my husbands birthday, even though he couldn't manage desert, as we had starter,steak and lots of sides. Hardeep brought him a small desert with a candle, a lovely touch to finish our nice evening.

Had a lovely meal here for our anniversary and combined wife's 40th birthday. Our server, Michelle, was fantastic and friendly. There was a wee mix up with the way our steaks were cooked, but no big drama as we just swapped (although it was two different cuts), the food was good and the added bonus of the lovely anniversary cake was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend and we would happily return!
