This place was absolutely wonderful to visit and the staff are even better. They did so well in accomodating me. I'm not really a huge drinker so I didn't really know what to order but they helped me so much in choosing some fantastic drinks that I could have drunk all day long. They also did their best to feed me as I had just come off a flight from the airport so they brought out some little snacks for me that I could enjoy with my cocktails. They are definitely gin experts and this place is now absolutely my favourite bar despite me living in Birmingham. I hope to visit Glasgow more often for the sole purpose of drinking at this bar with my family.

If you are looking for somewhere to impress you can’t go far wrong with Gin 71. The interior is really quite special. Decadent, romantic, arty. I loved it. The drinks were fairly affordable and tasted great. I recommend the Negroni and the Ginstar Martini. Service is friendly but not the fastest so go early if you have onward plans. Great date venue or for a special occasion

Very nice selection of gins, the place is stylish and the waiters/waitresses are really classy and elegant. The staff keep the masks on which I appreciated and they are very helpful. expect pricey drinks though and I had to pay deposit to book.

Beautiful gin bar with a great drink selection. Loved the tea pots! Bathroom also has a flower ceiling! And a great mirror for selfies 😂 Definitely recommend ♥️

We came to Gin71 to test their famous afternoon tea, with gin, just to find out that they just have finished serving! When the waitress heard that we came a long way just for their afternoon tea, she talked to the kitchen and we got served the most wonderful afternoon tea and had a very special experience.

I have been here before and it was terrific. This time was a bit of a disappointment! It didn't have any atmosphere at all. The measures are ridiculously small for the price. Maybe that is why the place was so quite? Considering it was a Saturday evening in Glasgow City Centre, it should have been REALLY busy. I don't know if I would bother going back again. There are much better places to go in Glasgow.

This was a fantastic experience we had someone help navigate the amazing drink menu and find a gin for someone that's more of a beer person then a gin one. The vibe was quiet but was inviting.

The waitress got our dessert order wrong, would come up and take drink orders but would ask one person in our group but not ask if anyone else wanted a drink. The food was bland and they have an obsession with putting mushrooms in most of their savory dishes. When ordering the lemon tart it came with more strawberries than lemon. After asking for our bill it took them more that 15 minutes to get the bill, even then we had to keep reminding the waitress we asked for the bill and each time she would say okay then aske if we wanted more drinks.... Three times in a row. The lights kept flickering in the restaurant. Overall you can get cheaper and better food and drink elsewhere

Absolutely loved it here. It's a tea shop by day and gin bar by night. The service was super friendly - though that's probably attributed to Glaswegians being a friendly bunch of people in general. Anyhow, I had the corpse reviver first - which was delicious. I've had plenty of other corpse revivers and this was the ceiling, I tell you. I opted to follow up with straight up gin and settled for the Makar (local Glasgow). It was so smooth with no bitter after taste - opened my eyes to a gin-ormous new world of possibilities. I really wish there's a place like this back at home cuz I'd patronize the hell out of it.

Enjoyed the five course tasting menu recently and from the starter to the desert, the gin to the staff, everything was truly 5 star. Really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and beautiful setting. Will definitely be returning.

First time at a gin bar, and we're hooked! Waiter immediately knew pairing for the gin we chose, menu is designed thoughtfully and is easy to work through. One of our highlights of Scotland/Glasgow by far!

Popped in to Gin 71 and had a lovely afternoon. The staff were so friendly and happy to help and be there. Dancing around to the music and just enjoying there work. It was really refreshing to see. And don't get me wrong the gin was great as well!!

Wow!!!!! The gin menu is just massive and the afternoon tea is awesome. Get Itison vouchers as it is dear at normal £24 each. Beautiful place. The marble is amazing. Former bank I think. Really an experience you won't forget.

Booked in for a gin tasting with my family and had a lovely time during the whole event. The whole tasting was set up very nicely with each group at their own table and a table setting laid out detailing the gins in order. The person running the tasting was fairly knowledgable and made the effort to engage with every table. This was a nice touch as I have been part of tastings that don’t have that personal touch. The gins we sampled were a good selection of styles and flavours which ensured there was something for everybody. The pairings with mixers was also explained for each one which was appreciated. This is definitely something worth doing if you are keen to try a range of gin styles and want some more information about what you can pair them with. The tasting was very tailored towards those new to gin, and is a fantastic entry point.

A really really excellent choice of gins and mixers. Like really good! They have a good cocktail choice too and the prices are not too insane. They could do with one or two more people working the floor though. We found ourselves preordering a drink twenty minutes ahead. It was slow.

Great gin bar, swank decor, interesting cocktail that focuses on gin but covers a range of classics. Two staff present on the sunday where very friendly and knowledgable on the menu and gave good recommendations around the city. Recommended spot to have a great cocktail in a swank atmosphere at very fair prices.

The quality of the drinks a and the features of the place makes it the best stop is Glasgow where to have a classy time and a perfectly served gin tonic. The staff is prepared and polite and the rotation of costumers makes the queue time short. The selection of drinks and gin variety goes from Swedish to Mediterranean, same for the tonic water. Prices are high but worth it.

I went there with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday during our holidays in Glasgow. We asked for some Scottish gin, and were really surprised that the waiter served us a bottle of cold water as well as some popcorn while we waited for our drinks. Oh! And they refilled the popcorn even tho we didn't order a second drink.

Great selection & good knowledgeable staff. My wife enjoyed a Gin board while I got to try their new "old fashioned" cocktail with a twist earlier this evening (it'll be on the menu next week). It had sherry in place of sugar if I remember correctly. Very nice ?

They’ve a wide selection of gin both from Scotland and around the world, alongside a variety on tonic water brands. They’re also providing some gin-based cocktail. Ask for a staff recommendation when you’re struggling. This is the place to induce your potential passion in gin & tonic.

Really nice little gin bar with plenty of options to choose from. The staff are clearly very knowledgeable and are able to help you come to a decision. A little on the pricey side but nothing too ridiculous. Would highly recommend popping in for one or 2... Or 5. Haha

If you like Gin or just nice cocktails, you should definitely visit here! The ambiance is fantastic, the decor is beautiful, and the selection of drinks is astonishing. I ordered a pink gin flight and was really impressed with the presentation, taste and quality. The service was also great, our server was attentive and extremely nice.

Fantastic, quirky bar! Tea shop by day, teapot cocktails by night. This place really knows their gins and we thoroughly enjoyed their presentation - in teapots with fruit-filled cups and saucers. Highly recommend!

Booked the 7 course tasting menu and also had itison vouchers for gin flights. We were advised on 2 separate occasions prior to attending for our meal that we could use our vouchers for the flights at the same time (even although it was a Saturday). Had a strange welcome on arrival and were shown to our table. It soon became clear that the manager already knew we’d been told we could use our vouchers but he was unwilling to honour the previous agreements. We were advised one member of staff who’d said we could use the voucher no longer worked for them. The manager was extremely rude, kept talking over us and telling us to enjoy our meal. We were appalled at the lack of customer service/respect. We have been to Gin 71/cup many many times for morning tea, afternoon tea, 7 course tasting menu. We will never return ... truly disappointing handling by the manager.
