With the tea room on the top floor and the pub/dining room on the bottom floor, having dinner here was cozy and welcoming. It was easy to make a reservation on the day, and the food was so hearty, delicious and Scottish-sourced I went twice the same week! The specials on the menu were particularly nice, and seemed to change often. I even left behind a bag by accident, and the staff were kind enough to act quickly after a call and let me pick it up the next day. All in all, this place deserves more praise!!! Will 100% return the next time I'm up North.

The Butterfly and the Pig is an excellent restaurant! The atmosphere is great, very cozy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is amazing! Portions are large, could easily split a meal. We loved it so much we visited the tea room for breakfast the next day! We will definitely plan to eat there the next time we are in Glasgow.

Great food and quick service. The staff were friendly and helpful, though could be a little more attentive to dining guests. The menu being renewed each day makes this a place worth returning to over other eateries in the area. Satisfying portion sizes, lovely atmosphere and clean facilities.

Been here a couple of times. The 1st time was for a belated (because of COVID) 50th birthday dinner for my dad. We booked one of the private rooms and paid a Β£100 deposit. We were only allowed 12 people due to the restrictions at the time at two separate tables but the restaurant were so good at accommodating this. We were given the option of 3 different set menus at varying prices, which made it easy to plan ahead. At the time the restrictions were changing constantly and they kept me updated with emails as to any changes to our booking in the run up. The service was amazing on the night and the food was brilliant. We always had someone checking up on us and making sure everything was okay. The bill for 12 people including deposit came to around Β£250 which was incredible, especially since everyone has a few drinks. I returned for a birthday lunch last week for my 21st and it did not disappoint again. The girl serving as was so sweet. My friend and I had the soup and sourdough and a HUGE scone which were freshly made and delicious. The bill came to Β£25 all in including a glass of procecco which was amazing value for money again. I could not recommend this place enough!!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon/evening and luckily found an empty table for 2 (it was quite crowded with reservations). Ordered Haggis Fritters, Olives & Bread, Sweet Potato & Chili soup, Pea Rissoto, and Steak Pie - everything was very tasty and decently priced. Also enjoyed some Scotch, a Scotch Old Fashioned (wasn't my favorite), and a Peach Mule. Service was so friendly, and atmosphere was wonderful. Would recommend for a big or small group - make reservations in advance if you can.

Been here couple if weeks ago with my Family and really enjoyed the afternon tea, everything is just so smooth and authentic, the decor in the tea rooms is impeccable and the actual tea is seriously tasty! A large variety of sandwiches and cakes all perfectly prepared. The staff were attentive and really easy going, definitely a pleasant afternoon.

We had a really enjoyable evening here. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the mushroom burger which was nice but I couldn't really taste the mushroom... It was mostly batter. Most of our group had the fish and chips which were excellent. There was also live music in the bar which was a pleasant surprise!

Very fun and cozy spot for dinner and lounging! The establishment has two sides, the restaurant and the bar. The bar area has nice and comfy couches, so it is a great spot to bring friends. I dined alone tonight, so I sat in the restaurant by a window. The table actually had a real candle on it, which I thought was a refreshing break from other places that have the candle shaped LEDs. I ate their sirloin for dinner. It is actually a really thick sirloin, so make sure you are hungry when you order this. It was cooked perfectly and the taste was great. The sauce that it came with was what really made it so good. The fries and tomato were nice, nothing really unique about them. The main show is the sirloin in this dish, which was what I was most interested in, and as stated it was fantastic. The service is here is quick and they take care of their customers well. I will be back here before I leave Glasgow!

I went into The butterfly and the pig before going to The Kings Theatre which is only a 5mins walk away. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and attentive. My latte was super tasty and I got a little piece of cake on the side (nice little unexpected extra). I sat on one of the big comfy chairs and done some people watching from the window :) They had some Motown songs playing in the background so I really enjoyed my chill out time in this bar... Looking forward to my next visit

Excellent cream tea although the 2 huge scones are too much for 2 of us. Prompt and super friendly services. Appreciate the small plate of haggis both vegan and meat for us to try.

Brilliant itison deal for afternoon tea. Quirky place with a great selection of teas, sandwiches and cakes. Staff very friendly. Only drawback is being limited to roughly an hour and a half at the table but I completely understand as it is a popular venue!

What a lovely time we had at the Butterfly And Pig . The staff couldn't have been any nicer , the service was first class and the food was absolutely delicious. It's a wee bit different , and that's what makes it worth a visit . If you don't go , you'll never know . Well worth the walk up Bath Street. 10 out of 10 .

Not fine dining, but definitely good dining. The meat pie was good and they made me a special request non- alcoholic drink, no problem. Well priced, (approx Β£ 58 for dinner and drinks for three), good and very friendly service. Dog friendly. They had an open mike night when I was there.

Really nice food. Pricing for drinks was a bit exorbitant but the great service made up for the cost for sure. They were even so kind as to make our afternoon tea vegetarian friendly at absolutely no notice because I was an idiot and forgot that I was bringing my vegetarian friend with me. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚ Lovely selection of nibbles within the afternoon tea and great value for what you get. The soup was also amazing. πŸ₯° Would definitely come again and want to try their restaurant next time!

Quantities of food. The soup was really good. We got the leaks and the bacon did not see any bacon. Did not see leaks but the bread they gave us to put in it. I dunked it and that was a really good combination. The staff was really nice, courteous and a good answer. All of our questions that we didn't question them about where the leaks of bacon were.

The butterfly and the pig was an unexpected gem in downtown Glasgow for two weary travellers from overseas. We were greeted with friendly staff, a huge space complete with plush couches, booths, or tables. The music was a mix of classic jazz, funk, and disco from the best eras and I was delighted at the amount of different theme days, high teas, and fun this place puts on either solo or by collaborating with other places nearby. The food is delicious and I highly recommend the raspberry and mango cider!

Definitely recommend this place. It's a cozy and beautiful restaurant. I loved the interior design and every small detail around the place. We tried traditional fish and chips, scotish steak pie, and sticky toffee pudding. All were delicious. The service was great, and the staff were friendly.

Such a cute place! We had the best meal here. We were sat at a little table by a window and enjoyed some local Scottish beers while we decided what to eat. My friend got fish and chips and I got the yummiest Beef Wellington ever. YUM! Highly recommend!

The atmosphere and environment is chill, very easy to lose yourself for a while, rock music playing in the background. We ordered the steak pie and it was delicous, flaky pie and delicious steak. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. Toilets are cleaned regularly. Wish we were able to come back more often.

This is a great, quirky place in Glasgow. Close to Sauchiehall St, but miles better than the usual high st cafes and restaurants there. We went here for breakfast on Saturday morning and I think we were lucky to get a table. It was quite busy but they managed to find us a space The coffee was very good, and I had the bacon & maple pancakes. It was a massive portion! Very very tasty, but too much for me so I had to leave the last few bites of a pancake. Highly recommended for a good breakfast in Glasgow.

Wonderful place that you might miss, on the lower level of building. When I went there was a group of fiddle players with live music. Great variety of food and whiskey. Food was absolutely divine, definitely a top reccomendation to have local food without too much crowds if you sit in the restaurant area vs the bar area.

I came with my friends to the restaurant after making a reservation. The order was (after noon tea). The scones were very tough. The toast was not bad because we wanted vegetarian, but it was not tasty. My friend ordered a flat white and she did not like it. On the other hand, the staff was friendly and the service was fast. I liked it. The restaurant has a Victorian atmosphere and beautiful, harmonious colours.
