Good place to have drinks, but they ran out of vegetarian options and the seasoned greens were unseasoned

Nice food except for the seasonal veg optional sidewhich was basically boiled to within an inch of its life. The steak pie, fish and chips and gammon steak egg and chips were all nice and the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming as well. Would definitely go back as the service was quick which was just what we needed that day.

It’s huge, it shows sports and serves food. Has some nice draughts including Clwb Tropica and Neck Oil. But it’s ultimately soul less and lacks any kind of atmosphere

Absolutely amazing pub. I have eaten here for the past 2 nights whilst visiting Glasgow. Staff are very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Ask for my Peroni glass to be changed and they gave me a fresh pint. The steak and ale pie last night was fantastic and the fish and chips today were some of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for 2 amazing nights.

Awesome place. Great value for money. I went there for breakfast, dinner and just evening drinks and the vibes were always great. Very friendly staff and yummy food. The atmosphere for live sports screenings are great and who doesn’t like an early pint when on holiday??

Watched the boxing here this evening, I had a meal as well and the staff were excellent in the way that they were super attentive. And they cleared the table as fast as staff would do in a Michelin star restaurant. The food was good for a bar meal. I had the half chicken fries apple pie and a steak sandwich. It was all very decent quality. And surprise have not developed a belly yet. 😂 I had a booth with my own screen which truly made the night memorable!

I need to share this review: I've watched most games of Euro 2020 in this amazing pub, including the final in which they gave us mad Italians a great table. Every time I went there, whenever the TV sound was too low, I've asked then to put a bit up and they always did. The pub itself is amazing, anywhere you're sit you can see a screen. Best pulled pork nachos ever. And I have to say the manager is one of the friendliest. He was always working hard to check with everybody, and he let us make a great party for the win \o/ I'm so glad I chose this pub to be the place I could see gli Azzurri winning. Grazie tante ragazzi!!! <3

Excellent well run pub. My reason for 4 stars not 5 is wholly personal, I don’t like the number of televisions around the place. I think they stilt conversation and kill atmosphere, a big event then why not, but every minute of the day!

Love the Cooper's. ♥️ 1 of my favourite places to eat/drink out.😃👍🥗🍝🍾🍸 Was there recently with my family, celebrating my 31st. Had a Mac and cheese with salad & garlic bread meal. 🍝🥗Also i had a sparkling prosecco rose with my meal. 🍸🍾Then I had a pink G&T (gin and tonic). 🍹I've Been to the Cooper's restaurant many times in the past. But i think it was the first time since about last year, since I last set foot at the Cooper's. It's been ages. But the Food & drinks is lovely as always. 5 out of 5 stars from me. 😃⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fast and friendly service, and definitely value for money being offered without there being any skimping on quality. The soup of the day was particularly nice. I would be happy to recommend it to others as a lunchtime destination. I couldn't even offer any constructive criticism as there was literally nothing to criticise. Well done to all on shift.

Someone else's lipstick on my wine glass, replacement glass wasn't much cleaner. No mushy peas available (forgivable) , and mouldy bread with my half a chicken and chips. Vile food.

Great big bar. Wide open spaces lots of chairs and tables. Only went in for drinks with work colleagues and we had no trouble getting served and no trouble getting a table. It was busy but not overly so and it seemed like a good crowd that was in last night. I would definitely go back here if I get the chance.

We had steak pie, chips & peas. Steak pie was really nice, chips were very salty and quite a small portion, peas were peas. Quick efficient friendly service. A bit noisy with 2 footie matches & 1 rugby match on at same time. Will go back.

Was having a lovely time here with my friends, and all the staff were great, until one member of the team made it really hostile for us. The male bartender with red hair, glasses and a beard violently screamed at us for standing up at our booth to try and see the football screens. It was very uncalled for and he could’ve approached us calmly. Instead he shouted so loudly and it felt quite intimidating. As one of the few groups of mostly women, it felt like he wouldn’t have done this to us if we were mostly men. Also, when another table were doing the same, he calmly asked them to sit down instead of how he treated us. It’s a great pub but this experience has made us unsure of coming back.

A barn of a pub. Bar staff quite efficient, so service reasonably swift. As ever, bar prices too high, eg £4/pint, approx. VG selection of draf beers. Basic pub food menu. This said, the students and regular people therein, seemed V content. Loud piped music, not to my taste.

***** 5 STAR SERVICE ***** Food excellent, after which my husband accidentally misplaced his wedding ring . The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in searching through the rubbish for it . Thank you so much . It was found in the car 🙄 Will return next time we are in Glasgow.

Came here with a group of friends after a work event and had a few drinks (so I can't comment on the food). Overall we had a great time - they had a decent whisky selection which is what I was after but those who got beers were happy as well! Drinks were well priced, and the staff were fantastic. Its a big place, and so unless there is a big game on it can seem quiet; if you're looking for a bustling pub atmosphere its maybe not the best. But then again, it was a thursday evening. Our group had a wonderful time and in a way its refreshing to be able to talk to the person sitting two seats away from you and actually hear what they are saying.

Good cheap pub. Great for sports and the staff were all extremely friendly and happy to be of service. Lacked a bit of atmosphere on a Friday night however, with no music while we were in.

Coopers food disappointing. Had fish and chips. Fish had a very greasy batter, and mushy peas tasted like they had been around a long time. Chips were obviously frozen chips. Woud recomend using fresh ingredients. We had pre booked a table online. Arrived and staff had no knowledge of our booking. Pub ideal for watching sport due large screen and other screens.

We've been coming here for many years but probably won't be back after lunch the other day. An admittedly pleasant young barman was so badly trained that he didn't know what Pinot Grigio was, or a half pint glass for that matter. The food was just ok but was served on cold plates the temperature of which had nothing on that of the room which was below the level of acceptability. The barmaid who served us our last drink told us, rudely, that nothing could be done about it. Belhaven pay attention!!

Nice open relaxed feel to this chain bar. Reasonable prices for 1pint of Guinness and a medium pinot grigio. The pub was quite quiet for a Tuesday but I'm sure that the is more of an atmosphere later on in the week/weekends.

Me and girlfriend were in at weekend and we asked one off male waiting staff who had long hair could we order some food and he looked at us and blanked us we just though this was so rude and we were tempted just too walk out as this didn't give a good impression off the place we just ordered at bar instead the food was very basic.
