Greeted only with "do you have a booking" twice; not exactly a friendly welcome. It was quiet, with about 8 tables and 5 working there floating about & not really doing anything. After waiting and not being served, and prying open the sticky menu-gross! clean your menus?- decided to leave. Unfortunately the team on lacked any leadership, direction in a dirty charisma vacuum of a bar that has sadly lowered it's standards severely. The patrons had that expression you see on people that regret coming in. Went to your competitors next door- recommend Slouch and Bunker for efficient service! :)

Service a wee bit slow, but very friendly and a nice atmosphere. Had fish and chips and the chips looked pale and a bit sad, but how appearances can be deceptive, they were stunning. The best chips I've had for ages, like a cross between a roast potato and a chip. Really good. Voucher deal was worth it

The food was amazing. We went on a Wednesday night and was the only table there for a little while, so i’m guessing it’s quite quiet on a weekday. The deal for it was really good though, £5-£6 for a cocktail is a bargain, and the burger was so big that I had to take it apart before eating it!! 😁

Wow, highly recommended, the Motherclucka was superb, along with the Bath Street Beast and Lambshank redemption. Can't recommend more highly.

This place is fairly nice, the bang bang chicken burger is great. The hot dog really is not good. It’s definitely more for drinks as the atmosphere for dinner wasn’t very good. Staff seemed pretty nice.

Came here for lunch midweek. Seemed to be a popular place from the reduced availability on line but fairly quiet when we arrived. Usual type of bar food but it was good stuff, arrived quickly and decent value. Good option for a quick work lunch.

I had my hen do here last year and liked it so much that I planned my sister in laws baby shower here also! Prices are reasonable for hire and food for the buffet, and those with dietary requirements are well taken care of. Staff are very accommodating and helpful especially with before and after events.

The afternoon tea was disappointing. It's very expensive for what it is: a few small sandwiches with some eggs and mayonnaise (for the vegetarian option) and industrial pastries. The cocktails were good and the staff was nice though.

Super few hours at saint judes, we stopped for a afternoon tea with scones, sandwiches and pastry desserts, the food was absolutely amazing there. We also had a teapot full of cocktail which again was superb. Afterwards we bought another cocktail each to try, I had a haribo strawb cocktail and the other half she had a haribo tangfastics cocktail. All was great! The staff were lovely and was asking how everything was. The only bad thing I would say is we waited in the lobby as we saw a little table there like what you would see in a restaurant where you would be greeted and told where you need to go - but that didn’t happen even after 10 minutes so we just walked in. The bar itself was a bit dark and quite loud with music, I really didn’t mind that as their taste in music was exceptional but I couldn’t really hear what my girlfriend was saying a lot of the time. Also their was no food menus nearby so I couldn’t tell what the food prices were! The food that was being brought out looked absolutely banging, guess I’ll have to look online. Anyway I’d definetly come back but only if I was in the area. Thankyou for a lovely day saint judes!

I’ve been in a couple times since the change from Lola’s and what a difference! The club is the only place in Glasgow with decent prices, £1 shots when I was in!! The DJ was brill & I will definitely be coming here regularly, the social media manager Roisin was so helpful in her messages giving me the price list for the different packages on offer. Thanks Roisin!

Was OK. We must have gone on a quiet night the food was OK we found the brisket to be rather spicy even though there was no mention of it being spicy on the menu. Bit all in all was a nice nice.

I had an unpleasant experience here when I visited, it was very cold inside with no heating on. Then I chose the fiery chicken burger & I had noticed it didn't say on the menu what hot rating it would be like most restaurants. It was so hot I thought it literally burned my tongue & was unhappy that I couldn't even attempt to finish the burger after 2 bites.

We had a booking for high tea and were expecting an English, Scottish menu but were extremely disappointed with what was actually served. The plateful of sandwiches were unimaginative with slices of tasteless ham or salami with a couple of leaves stuck in between and a bit of some cheese. The sides of the dry white bread could have been sheared off but it wasn't and that made the chewing even more tiresome. As for the cocktails served in the kettle, that's the gimmick they advertise!!! Unfortunately not the slightest hint of any alcohol. The three stars are only for the ambience and the staff can't blame them I guess for the insipid over rated high tea!!!!

We had a voucher for Afternoon Tea which was fab - nice selection and just the right amount. Raspberry cocktail served in a teapot was delicious! Metal seats were very uncomfortable though so we didn't stay longer than necessary and the decor and lighting is very dull. The food was nice and service was good. A nice enough place if your bum isn't too wide but has plenty of padding and you've been eating your carrots!

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for!
