I used to love coming here. I really did. I’d even say it was my favourite bar at one point However tonight I sustained a very bad injury and fell down the stairs resulting in my face smacking against the concrete floor. The staff and first aider were very sympathetic and great with me at helping me calm down and manage my swelling on my nose however the ordeal has left me very shaken up I really think a bar level toilet or some padding for the stairs ie carpet would be a lot safer. You also need a disabled toilet for sure. I heard I’m not the only one this has happened to so it’s well overdue for management to fix this problem. I’m lucky that all I got was some bruises and a busted nose. I could have cracked my back or my head or died. Sorry to say I won’t be returning for a while. The whole thing has really shaken me up The place is a lawsuit waiting to happen They also didn’t give me an incident report to fill in when I asked for one

A wee hidden gem in Glasgow. If you like metal or some rock and roll music, this is a great spot. Friendly staff, good music and comfortable seating in a nice atmosphere. I love it!

First time at Rufus T. Amazing bar, super friendly staff. Manager let me choose a few epic metal tracks. Going back tomorrow. We need a place like this with staff like this in every town.

Had a great afternoon with friends sharing conversation with a few pints. Staff were pleasant and quick to serve. Would recommend to anyone who likes rock music which played on the background.

One of the best bars in Glasgow. One of the only places to go and hear proper rock music in a variety of genres. Lovely team of people working there too who are all super helpful and cool.

This place is just always insanely comfortable, welcoming and full of people that create a homely atmosphere. I don't believe I will ever not feel safe there and I am grateful for its presence in glasgow.

Really good bar was a bit confusing finding the toilet was more like going on a quest!! But I found it in the end cheap on drinks for a city centre pub nice staff too definitely recommend it

Pretty good, managed to get an excellent seat and it wasn't super busy despite being a Saturday night - which is preferable for someone who likes a more relaxed atmosphere. Bar staff were friendly enough, and good music was playing all night.

What can I say about Rufus, other than this place has been a staple of every visit to Glasgow since I was 18 (which wasn't yesterday) foods always great, the staff always friendly and helpful and even if you're in on your own, the rest of the patrons are always welcoming. Highly recommended for any rocker in Glasgow

Always enjoy here. Staff are nice, food is nice (try steak pie) and music is good and prices are reasonable. 5deals for £5 - on burgers, meals etc. An absolute bargain, especially when you in Glasgow city centre.

Great Rock Bar. Excellent mix of music, friendly helpful staff. When we went there was a deal on a choice of White Russian cocktails. I'm only sorry we didn't try the rooftop terrace. Would definitely recommend.

Love coming here. The cocktail list is great, drink prices are reasonable (for the City Centre!), and a very welcoming atmosphere. Great if you want something to eat too. Brilliant tunes 👌

Seems a bar catering for the student population in the city centre, some interesting music memorabilia including a bust of John Lennon. No real ale but did have IPA on keg.

We hired the back room for a meet up of friends. Decent space with accessible booze and good music. Heavy Metal/Rock pub.

A Glasgow institution. Some of the younger staff were a bit, how shall we say, odd? That seems par for the course these days sadly. Social skills aren't what they once were. Still a great bar though.

Been coming here for decades. Glad it survived the lockdown. The food's good, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is unique. I do wish they'd dump the video screens showing movies and TV shows. They're distracting when you're in conversations and if I want to watch TV I'll stay home.

Kitchen shut, no wifi, no music app and expensive drinks. The only good thing left is generally good music. What happened to this place?

I visited this bar. On a holiday break. Great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and fun. Good place. Good music 🎵

First time here last month (Saturday night in Glasgow) and I came in to meet a friend and whilst I was waiting they had my favourite film on (saving private Ryan) and my kinda music as well as some Guinness for the Irish person I am. It was perfect. I would have gladly sat there myself to watch the film and have some drinks! I enjoyed the kinder flavoured drinks too (white Russian?) The atmosphere was very good and I really had a lovely time there… my friend wanted to leave (I secretly hated him at this point) but to be a good pal I went with him but seriously I wanted to spend my evening here! Next time :) especially if there’s such great films playing like epic war films or something similar. Best time thank you! 🖤🖤✨that was my first night out in town In about 1.5 years so it meant a lot

Awesome place to be to come, hang out and listen to good music. Rooftop area was difficult to find but once you know where it's easy to get to. Music was a little too loud for me and my friends to where sitting in the rooftop area for the quieter music was more preferable. Staff were very friendly, chatty and even allowed me to request a song or two.

Popped in here on the first night we stayed in Glasgow, was super stoked to see a rock bar! Ended up staying in there till we were tired, drinks and atmosphere was awesome and the bar staff were incredibly friendly. Rock on my dudes and dudettes! Will be back in December! 🤘😜

Always loved it in Rufus t's for as long as I've drank in it. From being a second home in my younger days, to now a destination visit for pre/post gig drinks. Always a special place in my heart for RT's 🤘🏻

Great food. Really attentive and alert staff. Nice retro NY aesthetic. Lighting a bit too dim for my taste but all part of the 'underground' aesthetic so understandable

Love this place! Staff are friendly and I love how chill and retro it is inside. Customers are able to play playstation, theres a TV on in the background and great alterantive/rock music playing. Decent prices and the cocktails are fab. Theres also a smoking area upstairs which is heated and sheltered. Toilets and the place in general was clean. No complaints!

(Translated by Google) Great music and beer, smoking area upstairs. Watch out for firm kitchens early in this country! (Original) Super musiques et bières, coin fumeur à l'étage. Attention les cuisines fermes tôt dans ce pays !
