A
really
enjoyable
dinner
experience.
I'm
not
normally
one
for
posting
reviews
but
I
wanted
to
take
the
time
to
leave
some
well
deserved
feedback
for
the
hard
working
staff.
Was
looking
for
somewhere
in
town
to
take
my.
Daughter
to
celebrate
her
exam
results
and
due
to
the
pandemic
most
places
were
fully
booked.
We
took
a
chance
and
went
into
town
anyway
hoping
to
find
somewhere
last
minute.
We
arrived
at
Lauders
having
been
turned
away
from
a
few
places
previously
as
we
had
no
reservation.
The
friendly
staff
member
greeted
us
at
the
door
and
as
I
explained
we
were
looking
for
a
table
to
have
a
bite
to
eat
to
celebrate.
The
male
staff
member
found
us
a
quiet
table
and
told
us
we
have
the
table
for
as
long
as
wee
need.
At
a
time
when
these
pubs
rely
on
quick
turnover
in
trade,
this
really
showed
they
care
about
repeat
custom.
There
wasn't
t
a
huge
menu
but
plenty
variety
to
meet
anyone's
palette.
The
food
itself
was
delicious.
It
arrived
quickly
and
was
perfectly
cooked.
My
daughter
isn't
one
for
vegetables
(she
gets
that
bad
habits
from
me
:))
but
she
enjoyed
every
bite
of
her
meal
as
did
I.
Through
our
whole
meal
the
staff
was
always
attentive
bit
not
imposing
making
sure
we
were
happy
with
out
meal.
Even
afterwards
when
there
was
a
slight
issue
with
our
bill
when
I
spoke
to
the
staff
member
they
couldn't
have
been
nicer
and
happier
to
help.
Over
all
at
a
time
of
uncertainty
during
covid-19
for
many,
this
establishment
felt
like
a
safe
haven
from
all
the
current
worries.
Thanks
to
the
great
staff
food
and
service,
I
was
able
to
create
a
nice
lasting
memory
for
my
daughter
and
I
to
celebrate
her
great
results.
Thanks
again
and
I
will
certainly
be
returning
soon.
