It’s your classic Wetherspoons. Its huge and shows sports. Loads of seating and always busy. You can order on the app and get your drinks to your table which is mega convenient. Surprisingly not the cheapest but in a good location

A spacious and decent pub located right in the city centre next to Central Rail Station. Food is ok. After all its a Wetherspoons! You can't expect more... Decent selection of breakfasts including vegan & vegetarian options. Bottomless hot drinks is a plus! Good atmosphere, fast and efficient service. The option to use the wetherspoons app helps avoid queue while placing orders over busy periods.

Nice pub , it has smoking area and seeting outside. Central to the city. Food is good and reasonably priced although the appearance has gone down . Good selection of food for all and kids, good selection of drinks . At weekends may be overly crowded and hard to get a table

This was a fantastic pub to go drinking at, with a stylish design appropriate for Glasgow! The outside seating is plentiful and I enjoyed one of the cocktails on the menu exclusively in Scotland; these are cheap at around £5. Staff were friendly and the vibes are really nice too!

Was in here early morning to have something before my train journey. I opted for a Breakfast Muffin which consisted of FRESHLY cooked sausage, bacon, slice of cheese and a superbly fried soft fresh runny egg (far nicer that a certain fast food chain) and took the advantage of FREE Refill Coffee that’s included and just all for £3.65 oh my word. I will say their coffee is one of the nicest around. Nice staff and very clean inside, also only a few minutes walk from the station.

Convenient location next to Central Station. I felt that the staff really made an effort to be helpful and pleasant. I had the “All Day Brunch” one chilly Spring afternoon, surrounded by locals getting stuck into pints. The eggs in particular were done to an excellent level of runniness. The chips were provided in a satisfying quantity.

It's a Wetherspoons so has all the benefits of being great priced and quick service. Depending on how you view fast food this could be good or bad for you but I personally have never had any complaints on service or food. Always fresh and delicious. Given the price it's hard to wrong. Orders made even simpler through the Wetherspoons app. Make bill sharing simple as you can just order what you want to table and so can the rest of the group.

Quiet, so service was faster than usual. Not a great choice of real ale. Several weren't on.

Although there was a superb gentlemen helping serve at the bar, he called for help and the moody guy that came was rude and stroppy

Extremely busy, but no wonder food I'd delicious and amazing value for money, staff are friendly and helpful xxx

Certainly prefer this spoons over the counting house, prices a bit better and food is always miles better, also customer service shines compared to pub on the square. If you're after a spoons in the city either here or crystal Palace would be my recommendation. Only plus the counting house has is location and amount of outdoor seating.

Last day of school summer holidays so took 5 year old grandson to his favourite eaterie in Glasgow. He enjoyed his pizza as usual, while his grandpa had a burger and I had chicken bites in a basket. All the meals were hot and tasty, service was speedy and we left as 3 happy diners.

Like any standard wetherspoons, toilets are a maze run down the stairs but are VERY clean and decent. Food that friends ordered was great. Bar staff and security were all pretty friendly also, great atmosphere

Staff are a machine and great. Tables are a clean yourself situation and pub is extremely busy. Food was fine.

So worth the hype! It's a nightmare getting a table here but once you get one, it's a great experience. The food and service is one of the best.

A nice spoons with a great Glasgow vibe. Busy as usual but bar service was incredibly pedantic. Staff seemed busy but time consuming customers needed to be told to get their act together Just drinks so cannot comment on food. Plenty of people eating though 👍

  • 4/5 Brian H. 1 year ago on Google
Spoons. Massively busy on a Saturday night and although understandably they have reviewed their prices, the breakfast is still great quality. Just wish they would clear and clean the tables more frequently, it can be really disgusting. But then it is Spoons.

They have great location, even showing railway time. So if are travelling and have some time, you can choose from a variety of drinks options which are fairly charged. They have great food and their kitchen seems to be open very late. Their bouncers (althouth old) are quick to react to any adverse situations.

Mixed bag, servers a bit dour. People delivering drinks and management were engaging. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Absolute value for money. Located stones throw away from Glasgow Central Station. Pints for under £3. Although main menu was available from 11.30 it was displayed on the app. Nice selection of real ales.

Haven't been here at least ten years. Went in to have a roll with bacons and a cup of black tea. My bacons was slightly burnt. The girl who served me was very friendly. I would come back.

My go to place for a little quiet and peace will enjoying a heartful meal.. 😊. My only feedback would be to have more vegan options as the current offering is too less for a regular customer like me with minimum options to choose from. Great place for meat eaters though.. 😁

This is a decent Wetherspoons without being very charming at all. Everything was fine for a heavily trafficked pub, but you wouldn't go there for the atmosphere. It would be to save a few quid on a decent enough ite t o eat and a drink.

Bun was very dry. Lettuce piece x1 slice tomato x1 . I ordered from the bar and it was on the table by the time I got back, chips were warm and dry as if they were warmed up and not just made. The upside was the staff were very polite .

Extremely busy branch of Wetherspoon, we struggled to find a table so we could eat. Food is served until 11pm. You can order from your table using the app, unfortunately we couldn't customise our choices so I ended up ordering at the bar. Whilst it was busy I was still served easily and the wait for the food wasn't excessive. Good choice on the menu and the food was lovely.

Interesting and busy. Just what you would expect from Wetherspoons. Watched a shady character move from table to table and made sure my bag was secure at all times.. I don't go here very often so I don't know if he was a regular customer.

You get what you pay for. Rooms a bit old fashioned but clean. We stayed for 2 nights and towels changed daily while we were there. Breakfast is buffet style and was good. Staff were lovely.

This place is huge and their prices are very competitive. It is generally busy but with an excellent atmosphere. The brownie with ice cream is lovely. They also have a wide variety of drinks to choose from. I totally recommend this place if you are looking for something cheap and cheerful.

The staff are great. It's just the punters. I couldn't see a free power point without a phone plugged in, and more punters were looking. Staff is great, service is great, just be prepared to be one among *many* as a punter. On top, it's a flight of stairs down to the toilets.
