This place is fabulous. In my opinion the people visuting here were mostly aged 30 plus but that suited us perfectly. People looking for a great pub and fabulous food. Couldn't fault this place at all. The staff were absolutely professional and friendly and I noted just how good they were with food and drinks orders and kept the place feeling relaxed in atmosphere. Cant wait to be back. Superb!! The bar bites were 10 out of 10. You are definitely my number 1 pub in Glasgow.

We popped into this pub for a pint and stayed for supper. The steak pie with bone in was delicious. Special thanks to our server Elisa who was really accommodating in getting us a table and helpful in explaining the menu. Recommended!

We recently dined at The Smoking Fox, and I must say, their Fish and Chips and Tikka Burger were exceptional. The Fish and Chips had a crispy, golden batter that encased tender fish. The fries were perfectly seasoned and made for a delightful pairing. The Tikka Burger was a delightful twist on a classic burger, with the flavors of tikka spices adding a delicious kick. The patty was juicy, and the burger was well-constructed. As for the ambience, it created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior was tastefully decorated with a mix of cozy and modern elements. The lighting was just right, not too bright or too dim, and the background music added to the overall experience. The attentive and friendly staff made the dining experience even better, providing top-notch service. Overall, the restaurant offers a fantastic combination of delectable dishes and a pleasant ambience, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for a great meal

Nice bar with excellent drink and meal options. Great service so when we dropped in for an afternoon drink, we booked for dinner the same night. Meals are large so be careful how much you order. I recommend ordering a starter and taking it from there. A couple near us were trying to cancel their mains as they were eating the entree! Food was creative and delicious. Recommend.

Decent pub near the Central Station. This was our third pub of the day. Food looked good but we had already ate lunch. Beer selection was limited. Sam enjoyed her gin. Toilets were clean.

Perfectly cooked burger. A little messy to eat, but no good burger is clean to eat. Great cocktails. I recommend the Foxypolitan. Staff is very friendly and attentive without going overboard.

We were very happy with our food, cocktails, and service from the staff. I had the burger which was awesome and we ordered one to-go for my partner who says it was delicious, also. My mom had the nachos but didn't enjoy them as much as she could have because the cilantro/coriander was not listed on the menu description. Father had the fish and chips & added prawns which he said were all very fresh. Overall great dining experience!

First visit today with 13 colleagues for a bite to eat and couple of drinks. Can't fault the place, the waitress looked after us well and made sure we got everything we needed promptly. Nice ambience and spotless, including the toilets. Good background music and helpful staff with very reasonable prices, can't believe I got a pint of fresh orange and lemonade for under £3.

What a great bar! I had my leaving party on Friday night and it was a brilliant night. The food was lovely, drinks were reasonable and the staff were super friendly. Big shout out to Agie who went out of her way to look after us. They had a band on later so we even managed a wee dance. I'll definitely be back soon. Thanks everyone..

A gem of a pub. Was in here for the first time at the weekend and absolutely loved it. Nice chilled atmosphere, football on the screens and great drinks and food. I had the shawarma and my wife had the french dip....both unreal! Service was next to none also, will definitely be back!

Just dropped by for a pint on a Wednesday afternoon. The bar was reasonably busy considering the time of day. The beer selection was good and the staff efficient.

This is somewhere our family has started going regularly and cannot recommend it enough. The food is excellent and there is a huge amount to choose from. We tried several things on the menu now, including the steak pie, Mac and Cheese as well as some of the the burgers, and each time it has been superb, both in quality and presentation. The kids menu is great too, and my 1 year old seems to love his visits here, especially for the Fish Fingers and the ice cream after! There's also a great range of drinks to choose from, and the atmosphere always makes it a great day/night out. Anyone visiting here won't be disappointed.

From London - staying nearby and popped in with work colleagues. Don't be fooled by the lack of pomp and ceremony... I doubled checked that they did food... OMW - I'm do glad we stayed. The woman taking our orders advised of the couple items not on the menu. There were 7 of us and we orders starters to share.. haggis balls, haloumi fries, chicken wings and something else...I forget.. alas every single mouthful was simply divine. I love pies so had the beef pie.. the mash was ridiculously smooth and rich. This has to be one of the best filled meaty and hearty pies I've ever tasted. It arrived with a marrow bone in it and the sauce was so rich - it would be such a sin to leave any behind...so I ate very slowly.. it was piping hot and the pastry top was beautifully flaky. Initially I thought I'd rather have a pastry base but they know what they are doing.... it was not required as the lovely veg and mash were more than enough... If I cone back to Glasgow, I will definitely come back and have the fish and chips which looked soo tempting. 100% loved every morsel and all the staff were attentive and the chef knows exactly how to produce amazing food... Extremely great value for money... wow!! Thank you! 😊

Nice pub conveniently located near Glasgow Central Station. A warm welcome for this solo female traveller from the friendly staff - live that they gave me a prime position rather than tucking me away in a corner. The food is good, the service excellent. I love the little touches such as free sanitary and hygiene products in the women's bathroom. Lots of television screens - a good place to watch the World Cup.

Our first time in ages, great food and even better service. This place really is a gem. We had some small plates today with our pints and the food was delicious. As a veggie I was pleased to see plenty of delicious sounding options on the menu for me! We will be back again soon.

Within 5 minutes walk from our hotel and subsequently Glasgow Central Station we stumbled across this gem of a venue. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff were among the first things we noticed. The tables were clean and of good quality. (Not a wobble in sight at our one) We ordered at the bar and our drinks were brought over to the table, avoiding the awkward 'stand at the bar and watch your drinks be poured' stage. Food came quickly and was hot and well prepared. Tasted pretty damn good too. I opted for the Haggis Bon bons with whisky sauce, which was up there with some of the best I have tasted. And living in the Highlands I have tasted my fair share. I also had the Buffalo chicken wings/tenders, finally a buffalo sauce which actually tasted spicy. Well done. My wife had the loaded mac and cheese which chilli beef, which she enjoyed as well. All for a reasonable price. Plus they were playing the football which helped. I would definitely go back.

We only had drinks here but what a great place. Would definitely like to go back and sample the food. Great atmosphere and music here and the right sound level which meant you could both talk in your group and enjoy the music.

Great vibe in the bar and restaurant area, food was fab and the Christmas cocktails were amazing! Friendly staff and very reasonable! My price is including two cocktails and a lager we were 63.47 for 2 main meals and the drinks, which is great x

What a great bar! We were visiting Glasgow for a weekend and The Smokin Fox was just down the road from our hotel. We called in a couple of times and it was buzzing with Christmas parties and just people enjoying a drink. Although really busy, getting a drink was fine as there were plenty of staff, who were all really friendly. The beer was great and proper hand-mixed cocktails, which got top marks from my wife. We didn't eat, so can't comment on the food but everything else was great!!!

We had a great night in The Smokin Fox for a friend's birthday. First time I'd been in, but I'll definitely be back. Great pub! Lovely atmosphere and decor, great service, good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, and really nice clean toilets with a helpful stock of toiletries. We didn't have food this time, but I'm looking forward to going back for a meal! Thanks for a great night!

Great spot for some quiet drinks. Busy in the early evening but staff are very accommodating. Meals are good and the beer wine and spirits are in good supply

As Glasgow bars go this one is decent. It has good selection of beers and spirits, good sized menu with the usual staples of burgers, chicken and seafood to select from. Normally a busy bar anytime I have been in. Good starting place for any night out before moving on to the club's.

Nice meal, the young lady who served us could not have been nicer and was very attentive, the only issues were the table and bench seats were far too tight and the music was a wee bit loud. Unfortunately though i like the Fox i do not want to sit in those benches ever again.
