Bar Pub

😠 (Was) One of our favourite pubs (until they made dogs unwelcome after 7pm) in Glasgow, extra cozy and no nonsense, drinks and nibbles no posh grub. A proper pub. Open fire, dog friendly(?) how a modern public house should be. Always jam packed, so get in early or be prepared to stand. Edit! - do... It’s cosy and local but lacking draught options and felt a bit exclusive. Warm but not welcoming

Just stopped by for a coffee and it turned out to be the best coffee I've had in ages. Dog friendly and no longer the dusty old man pub it used to be (that's probably further back in time than I care to remember)

I was here for a meeting. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The service was very friendly and, importantly, efficient. Great ambience.

Great wee Snug pub. Child crowd & good music. Outside seat in the summer for people watching.

Was in last Saturday afternoon Bought a large Rose wine along with a Kraken and lemonade and charged £16 odds , when I asked barmaid about it she said the large wine was £10.80 , has without doubt got to be the most expensive large wine I've ever purchased

Cozy indoors and cheerful staff. It was quite crowded when we arrived, and so the only place to sit was outside. The weather being chilly, some sort of heating would have been appreciated. Their selection on tap was decent, though I would have appreciated a few more ciders (especially something properly dry). Still, it was an enjoyable experience and one I will happily repeat.

I actually like this pub but if they are going to allow dogs in licensed premises then they should appreciate that when the bar is busy and you have dogs lying beside tables then this is a recipe for disaster. I stood an a dogs paw today and was met with hostility from the dog owner when I pointed out that it shouldn't have been lying across the floor. It was later at night and the lights had been dimmed and I hadn't seen it and thankfully was rewarded with just a growl. I spoke to a lady afterwards who actually had a dog bark and frighten her. We also have animals sitting on seats which should be for customers which is also unhygeinic and I would assume an environmental health issue. Pubs which allow dogs require at least a modicum of responsibilty

Very bad street pub. Don’t go there. They discriminate people! Especially the woman who works there. She wanted a friendly guy to leave the pub because she didn’t like the way he looks. Just because he has face tattoos. She told him to leave a public street although he has done nothing to her.

Cracking pub with a good atmosphere. Coal fire and board games. Usually a good crowd that mix as the tables are close to each other.

A little gem in the west end. Great selection of drinks. Enjoy both the wine and beers here. Good ambiance and friendly staff. A few seats outside for when the weather is good. Easy to get to from either tube station which are not far away. Recommended.

Open fire makes this place particularly good on cold winter nights. Dog friendly. Good drink selection.

Nice, small, cosy bar. It has a beer garden, but being North-facing, it doesn't get too much in the way of sunshine. This bar really shines in winter when they light the log fire. It is such a warm, cosy atmosphere, especially if you manage to get yourself an armchair by the fire. You could happily spend hours with a date or a friend by the fire on a cold, winter's night drinking the evening away. The only reason I don't give this place 5 starts is choice. There isn't a huge range of spirits. This isn't really something I suppose the management could do that much about as it's not a huge bar, but be that as it may, that takes a star off it for me. Other than that, this is a really nice little bar and worth a visit.

Inviting atmosphere. Good beer choice. However dissapointing first visit because valuable seating for a small environment was used for coats and handbags by inconsiderate customers we had to push to get a seat and felt we had intruded. Might be to busy to notice what's happening in their pub Cheers Ken

It's a tiny, charming west endian pub. But with the emphasis on 'tiny'. The popularity of the place may have ruined it for Saturday nights. You could have to wait tens of minutes for service, and even still the prices can surprise you. Also, don't expect to have any craft beers here, there's none.
