Great experience at Hard Rock in Glasgow - exactly what you you would expect from this brand. Food was good, service was okay and music was great. Although they were very busy, the food arrived quickly

As a fan of Rock music, I have to say people like me would love this place. I don't why I got excited seeing signed copies of Pink Floyd records, but I did. The whole ambience of the pub is sublime. The food was also awesome. I had the Surf and Turf Burger and I loved it. The mix of prawns and beef in a burger really hits different. Would definitely go again!

Brilliant experience, food is pricey but absolutely amazing. Quick food preparation and the staff are all really brilliant and actually happy to be there. Atmosphere is amazing as well.

We passed this shop on our day visit in Glasgow. Awesome vibe and look! Has a big variety of magnets if that's what you collect on your travels. Also great selection t-shirts and caps 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤙🏼

As an American tourist in Scotland, you know we had to check out the Hard Rock in Glasgow - my friend and I went for our double-birthday, and it was a BLAST! When you head in, you HAVE TO ask for Daddy... Yes, you read that right! He was incredibly playful and made sure we were very well taken care of. He did a great job of reading the room, and we all had fun taking the piss out of each other 🤣🤣🤣 Drinks were very reasonably priced (considering I'm used to frequenting the Hard Rock in Orlando) and the food was good - you know, American stuff. Dad recommended the local menu, so I got the Glasgow burger, which is topped with haggis. Honestly, I would've paid the full price just to eat the haggis - it was very yummy! I would've included a photo of it, because it was MASSIVE... but I devoured a good chunk of it before I remembered to. 😅

After 8 years living in Glasgow, I finally had the opportunity to visit this place. The restaurant is large with a nice ambience of chatter and good music. I was slightly disappointed in the quality and variety of the menu and food. I can't say that it was anything special and I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend to a family or friend personally. I found the food to be pretty much average (average quality burger, chicken dippers, ribs, nachos). I cant say i would be back necessarily. Regardless the customer service was top notch. The bathrooms could do with a little TLC though (especially bins being emptied and toilets being cleaned).

Food was good, would recommend the nachos for sharing they were so tasty but make sure you are hungry enough as its a large portion! even for two it would be a struggle for most. Me and my wife love nachos though so we finished ours! Service was great, all staff from entering the door were very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I'd have is the cocktails, they were very overpriced. You wouldn't expect to pay double figures for a long island, in a pretty small glass.

Visited the Hard Rock Cafe with 3 work colleagues. The place was pretty busy when we visited, the atmosphere was pretty good. Our waitress was very polite and professional, although it did feel like she was very busy and had to wait a fairly long time to get our first drinks and order our food. Drinks came and turned out it was happy hour all day, £2.50 for a pint of Stella, £4 for a pint of corona, not bad. Food was very good but my burger was pretty small for almost £15 could have at-least done with a few more fries. Overall experience was good but you might be best to visit when the place is not as busy to get better service.

The staff ignored my partner when taking us to our table, the food was dry/pretty tasteless and the lights were too bright. Won't be going back. My partner and I have enjoyed the other Hard Rock Cafes so this experience definitely put a bad taste in our mouths.

My first time visiting a Hard Rock Cafe, a friend of mine with me visits as many as she can. The atmosphere is definitely different and unique which made a nice change. I'd say it's a more adult version of TGI and less in your face which is welcome. The music was a little loud for me but different to the norm. Now the food...we tried x2 of the original burgers, x2 of the Glasgow burger, a vegan burger and some nachos. The nachos were amazing, cheese sauce was so good and better than a normal nachos with melted cheese and the portion was massive and shared between 4. The Glasgow burger was rated very highly. The original burger was nice and fully loaded but both of us found the patty very dry which was disappointing. The chips were excellent though! Also, really liked the take home glass policy and the milkshakes looked amazing. Would visit again (or another location)

Me and my partner went for lunch while we are in town passing through after hearing all the hype I have to say staff were lovely. We had nachos for starters it was great but we both had the burgers and they were so dry we had to complain even the staff noticed how dry they ware. Very disappointing on the plus side the manager took the burgers off our bill. For the price you are charging people really expected better quality

Good food, great staff, but not quite there yet. I've been all around the world eaten in some amazing restaurants and some.... Not so good. Hard Rock tries hard but missed the mark. Food was decent but not great, drinks no complaints, staff and service were excellent, toilets very poor, prices too high. So only 4 stars, would I go again... Unlikely too, far better eateries in town with better atmosphere & without the bejazzle and costs.

Only downside was we had to wait more than 40 minutes for food to our table, then we had to send a burger back as it was half cooked. Which meant someone was eating alone because by the time a new meal come out everyone else at our table had finished their food. The alcoholic drinks were served first but 10 minute wait for soft drinks. On the whole not the best visit but good was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful.?

Was in today and was served by both Tegan and Dave. Both of them very polite, approachable and friendly and made sure our drinks were top tier level of class. Definitely would come back, could not think of a single complaint. Music is good, drinks are good, brilliant time to be had.

Meal, service and staff very good. Asked about live band and told upstairs by desk staff and server so after meal and bottle of wine, saving some for the show went up to the venue only to be told there was a charge of£17 pp. Would prefer to know before buying meal about the charge.

Had a really great time here. Arrived an hour before our reservation but it was no issue. Staff in both the restaurant and gift shop were super friendly. Food was also perfectly cooked. Have been to many HRCs all over the world and this is easily in the top 3.

Was a bit chaotic when we first came in, was shortly seated by a nice server and told our server that will get our food and drinks would be here soon, after about 5 minutes our server introduced herself and took our order. On arrival she came with a completely different burger than what i ordered and what she wrote? We just said we’d keep it bc it would be too much of a hassle, then we were ignored by a good 3-4 servers when we said “excuse me?” (Wanting a top up of our drinks) our server that took our order (Holly) stood talking to other members of staff doing nothing, made eye contact but never asked how our food was? Been here before but has now put me off.

Friendly service, and nice venue (though not as impressive as HRC in other cities). The chips are crispy yummy and vegan burger with Moving Mountains patty is excellent, I would recommend it if you like innovative plant based products that simulate meat. The steak salad is my favourite dish here though, comes with medium rare beef strips and blue cheese, so delicious! Massive portions, especially the dessert, best shared!

Was at the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Excellent at the door. Temp checked. Took to out table and staff were great. Service was good but starter appeared within minutes of ordering. Obviously sitting on a hot plate. Ordered the cheese burger as a main. All fine but my only complaint is the actual burger meat was fairly poor standard. Not a hand crafted burger just a mass produced lifeless effort of no very tasty meat. Everything else was fine just a rather weak burger...tbh. expected something way better. You certainly don't get this in the states but he ho. Staff were fine though. For the prices that are being charged...it failed to delivery. Could have got the same burger in weatherspons for a fiver plus a drink lol?

It's the hard rock so you kind of know what to expect but the prices are exorbitant for what you get. Over £4 for a beer and over a tenner for burgers . The quality of food is ok but you can get as good and better elsewhere for less . Music is good and the memorabilia is always worth a look but your paying through the nose for it.

Does not live up to its name just a pub playing tunes. No atmosphere and you can only sit at the bar on high seats if you are not eating. This was even though there were many empty tables. Wouldn’t come here ever again total disappointment. Drinks expensive.

Nice place to eat with fun atmosphere but not as good as some of the other Hard Rock Cafes. Food is great as is standard at HRC and cocktail selection is amazing. Feels a bit like too many tables are squished in the place but its fun and the servicing staff are really exceptional. Nice central location too.

Interior of the Hard Rock Cafe is very nice! They have a little dip where there are tables and a bar on the elevated part, almost looks like a band could play in the middle of the cafe! Nice music and I got the gold burger with the raspberry lemonade with basil, very refreshing!

Love the atmosphere in here, prices seem fair. Only down side for me is most of the cocktails have strawberry which I'm allergic to. Returned today and staff couldn't do enough to ensure that the drinks I ordered had no contact with strawberries. Well worth more than 5 stars.

Excellent quality, tasty and freshly prepared food. Not cheap at all, but all great quality. Staff are friendly and helpful, walls are covered with interesting music relics. Staff offered music of our choice, and the building is epic. The old Glasgow Athaneum has been largely retained and interior architecture is wonderful. Recommended.

We had great time. The food was looking great in the menu, and in reality it was even better. One of the greatest burgers I ever had was there, mac and cheese mmm delicious. Picture of our half eaten starter (sorry I forgot)plus my main...the burger. Procedures upon arrival were great (book first!) greeted at the door, shown to our table, one way system explained then seated. Afterwards we told our server we'd like to visit the gift shop so we were given the place to ourselves to browse...couldn't help myself 😀

A great place to dine with friends and or family while enjoying great food and music. The portion sizes are just right considered the cost of the items. The nachos are a great plate to share or eat solo (and then take home the rest) since the portion is huge. Try out the Local Legendary if you want an original burger that's unique to the Hard Rocks location. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Currently due to Covid there are restrictions put in place but they are all necessary and don't really tamper with the whole experience. Also, Hard Rock has extended the Eat Out to Help Out scheme (valid from Mon-Wed) so there's an added incentive to go.

  • 5/5 S M. 3 years ago on Google
Good Covid measures on arrival. Temperature scanning and hand sanitizer. Tables well spaced out and staff wearing masks. One way in/out. This was a friend visit because we were both celebrating a birthday. Arek our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Tupelo Chicken Tenders and the the Big Cheeseburger with skin on fries, both had loads of flavour. I loved the chipotle mayo with my burger. Always love the homemade onion rings. Arek made a point of informing us of the size of our chocolate brownie and so we shared the gooey delight with ice cream/cream with sauce and nuts sprinkled over . We loved the pinot grigio and then the fresh agave margarita and dark and Stormy cocktails... We will be back to enjoy the Eat out to Help out...

You know what you're getting at a hard rock cafe if you've been before. They had a tapas style menu when we visited for a bit of variety. I never rate the burgers (always dry and bit bland - certainly not the best Glasgow has to offerq). But wings are always a good choice. Given the covid joys, seemed the atmosphere was a bit grim. No music playing throughout. But staff were great and can't fault them on safety precautions.

Poor quality of menu (probably due to covid) food was average. Sida served was flat and when we alerted the server she said the gun was playing up. Shouldn't have been served if faulty. This was during dine out to help out and even with 50% off it didn't offer value for money.

Arrived a bit early and had covid check, i asked to wait for our table at the bar, after a wee wait was shown to a table at the bar while our table was prepared. Eventually someone took a drinks order (not the fastest) and ordered a couple of cocktails which duly arrived just as we were informed our table was ready. Ordered a starter (wings) and a couple of burgers. Service was ok and the waitress pleasant. Wings were a bit burnt, Tescos are better but burgers were ok, ordered a couple of beers which took ages to come. On leaving we exited through a door into a smelly dirty wee alley and had a glimpse to the right, obviously a staff smoking arra which was disgusting and made oneself question the hygiene inside, totally not impressed and dont think i would hurry back anytime soon 🙁

Bit on the expecive side however well worth the price,Four of us sharing a starter and having two courses each. Being a vegetarian it's always hard to find somewhere that puts as much love into their vegetarian option as they do there meat options and hard Rock does that amazingly. Think of each star as two 10/10.

Very lively as always, l have been going to the Hard Rock Cafe since the beginning in the 70's in London so it was nice to see the Glasgow branch, l was sat at the bar as Billy No Mate's! So l was entertained by the friendly bar staff, the Legendary Burger was perfect as always, l do miss the relish that used to accompany the burger in the good old days of the Hard Rock Cafe, l had a Chocolate Fudge Sundae, l remember hot Fudge being in the bottom not this time . Can't wait to return very soon.

Staff are outstanding, they greet you on arrival, explain the lay out of the venue (multiple floors) and hand you a menu if you are dining. From the entrance you pass through a small retail area with hard rock café merchandise then down the stairs to the bar/ restaurant area. Quite expensive but the look of the place is classy with lots of rock memorabilia on the walls. Music videos play on screens around the dining area but not too loud so conversation is possible.

We were down in Glasgow for the day starting our Christmas shopping and fancied having dinner before getting the train back home. We tried booking online but they only had really late bookings due to it being a Saturday, luckily one appeared later on in the afternoon for 7pm so highly recommend booking ahead of time. Hard Rock Glasgow is located in the heart of the city on Buchanan Street, it's a rock themed restaurant with musical memorabilia dotted throughout. It had been a while since my last visit but the restaurant hasn't changed at all, still really clean, tidy and tunefully modern. Our waitress Kelly was superb, so friendly, bubbly and definitely the life and soul of the place. They have a great menu full of all your favourites but the pricing is quite high end but it is worth it for the experience and the quality of food. We had the Nachos to start which left us speechless, honestly the best we have had in a while, instead of the usual burgers/ribs we went rogue and tried some chicken/macaroni dishes which were served in no time at all, roasting hot and tasting delicious. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Glasgow or want to celebrate a special occasion. Hard Rock is definitely the place, you can even increase your bill on the way out and visit the merchandise shop... who needs desert anyway!

Food is amazing. Everything tastes great. We had a fantastic server who looked after us the whole time and made the experience more enjoyable You get free glasses if you order large cocktails, check the menu to see which ones apply. Doesn't matter how many you large drinks you order you only get a free glass with the first round. They're classed as top ups after that

This HR is like right next to the main Glasgow Train station. Super easy to spot and is bigger than Edinburg. It has a HR logo so selfies and a stage. The bartender was very courteous and the shrimps were piping hot. I'm glad I did this trip to Glasgow and spend time there. They don't have a house lager though, you have to select from the branded taps only.

One of the better run Hard Rock Cafes I’ve been to, and I’ve been to them all over the world. Service was top notch with our server going above and beyond to be SO nice and friendly and give us recommendations for Glasgow. Food is the consistent staples that you are used to at Hard Rock - I skipped the normal burger and went with the chicken Caesar this time. Layout of the restaurant is a bit wonky and I can imagine during busy times it’s a bit loud, but it was fine. Minimal local memorabilia which is a bummer but somewhat the norm these days!

Excellent place! Super kind service from the staff. Fresh and tasty food served quickly. Unbeatable ambient with cool rock and roll music. Decorated with gear and clothes from music gods likes John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Angus Young and Elvis Presley! The Messi hamburguers are incredible, so do the hot dogs!

Thoroughly enjoyed my time in Glasgow. As a big Hard Rock fan I was apprehensive about going due to reviews. However the service and food was great granted it was quite a cool room. Food from kitchen to table can probably go cool quick as large room. I did try to buy some merchandise however their tills were down. So stopped for a bite before going to a gig. Met Kieran and some other bar staff very friendly and gave me a pin as I am a huge collector of the Hard Rock pins/magnets and key rings( try to get a key ring at every hard rock) as the tills were down Kieran gave me one of his pins. Was nice to chat I would recommend any Hard Rocker to visit. I'll be back in February.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly...
