Mid afternoon lunch, a great selection on the menu and specials board. The staff were friendly and attentive without intruding. I would definitely return.

This is a great bar with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service has always been excellent. Despite being in a trendy area it has a “local” feel about it. Staff very friendly and people at the next table will share a bit of chat with you. The bar area, tables and toilets are spotlessly clean. A rarity in Glasgow these days unfortunately. Beers are spot on, good selection and served in their respective glasses. No bad pints here! Their take on an espresso martini is something special. Skip the sterile atmosphere of Brewdog (no offence Brewdog, I do enjoy a pint of Punk) and go in for a drink.

Friendly service and a clean environment. Some interesting craft beers and the prices are reasonable. A welcoming environment and would visit again.

Cute and friendly wee pub. Clean environment and decor, definitely not an outdated pub. Food is on the simple side but modern and tasty! A good few vegetarian and gluten free options. I had the chicken pakora (gf) which was very tasty! Great drink selection as well. Best bit is that they're dog friendly! We had a warm welcome, a biscuit, and periodic attention throughout. With brewdog only a few doors away, I'd much rather patronise this small business than the chain that never seems to have a table anyway. Definitely will be back!

I have not ordered food for a long time and decided to try Guinness steak pie and very cheesy mac and cheese. Wow! So much steak chunks stuffed under pastry. Yummy! £21 for two awesome meals.

Such a crackin' wee bar! All the staff are super friendly, efficient & attentive. There's a great outside seating area or comfy booths inside if it's too cold to sit out. The food is top notch & very reasonably priced.

Great place, great meal for good money. I reccomend.

The staff here are SUPER friendly and the prices are not too, too high given the very touristy location. There were some obvious regulars, indicating to me that this is a bit of an establishment in the area. It seems the food menu changes regularly and I was not so lucky in terms of selection, but what I did have was…fine.

First time here on Saturday with friends. Cosy friendly, great service, attentive without being intrusive. Lovely food and great drinks. I'd advise booking as it's a little place. Great find will definitely be back. We were a group of three but larger groups were accommodated and to no detriment of service to the large groups themselves or other guests . We ended up staying for more drinks after our meal, even though the table was needed we were simply moved to a booth , nothing was any trouble. Top marks!

It’s a great place to have lunch and the food menu also is a good selection of local food. The service is great and the bartenders engage you in good company.

A fantastic wee bar and restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. The menu is consice and very tasty, with options like Scotch broth, braised beef cheeks, fish and chips, burgers. I think there were a couple of vegan options too. The beer and spirit options were impressive for a small business, with the draught especially varied from wheat beers, ipa, lager, blonde. It has seats outside as well for watching the bustle of the town. Will be a new favourite to go to.

Just arrived to Glasgow and seeking a mid afternoon lunch place with vegetarian options for our group. Excellent restaurant, in a quieter location with lovely outdoor patio. We were served hot (temp), expertly prepared foods. Delicious beers on tap. Simple red and white wine options. Friendly staff. Modern clean interior. Overall we were so happy with our lunch, sharing battered fried fish and chips, veg pakoras and chicken pakoras. Delicious meal and highly recommend this restaurant.

A great little dog friendly bar / eating place . Fab food . The burgers were amazing. Tacos on the specials board were fab. The staff very helpful and attentive . We were a group of 8 and the service was excellent.

Fortune to have this so local to me. Food is always outstanding, better than many restaurants in the area. Regular rotating specials and friendly staff. Personally I'd say more of a bar/bistro style, don't go expecting live music etc. However, if you want relaxed dining and/or a few drinks this is the place 👍

We went here for a quiet birthday lunch with my partner. Service was great, friendly and chatty and professional. The food and drinks were also lovely. We tried the mussels, patatas bravas, chicken shwarma, and one of the specials. It was all fantastic. We finished off our meal with a coffee and a cocktail sitting outside, all round great experience.

Fabulous restaurant, highly recommend. Friendly welcoming and an amazing specials board too. Had a fantastic meal - pan fried salmon and bean Ragu, could eat it every day!

Food was amazing — the mac & cheese was delicious, as was the Malteaser’s cheesecake from the specials menu. I ate it slowly just to savour every bite, it was incredible! My partner also enjoyed his lamb broth and mussels, said they were lovely too. Bar is dog friendly and the staff were extremely welcoming, will definitely visit here again!

Lovely friendly wee place in a brilliant location. Unpretentious, good food, great wine, reasonable prices. Didn't feel rushed at all. Loved the wee booths, great place for a casual catch up with friends. Will definitely be back!

Great little ‘hole in the wall’ pub. As it is around the corner from where I am staying I’ve popped in a few times. Seems like a good local haunt, friendly team who are happy to chat.

Amazing staff, great selection of beers and food to die for. We sat outside, ordered the small plates and sampled some different beers in the sunshine. We had a fantastic day

We loved this place. The service was quick and very friendly, the food was top notch and the atmosphere was really nice. There was a mix of diners and people having a drink at the bar but it all felt very relaxed and enjoyable. Will definitely be back when we visit Glasgow again.

Incredibly tasty food! Lovely little cafe/bar. Quite a small menu but everything we have tried so far has been delicious and they have daily specials. Dog friendly.

  • 2/5 Marcus B. 4 years ago on Google
This place has the potential to be a nice place to go for a drink. However, the vibe is killed by ridiculously bright lighting, which makes it feel more like a dental surgery than a bar and kills the vibe! If they sort this out, I will be back. I want to support new, independent places like this but they need to get the basics right.

  • 4/5 Fraser B. 4 years ago on Google
LOvely, cosy, with a relaxed atmosphere. The host was really attentive and apologetic when the wrong starter came out- which he rectified quickly and let us have the starter for nothing. The price is good for the high quality of food, very tasty and filling! Only downside was the falafel could have been a bit more flavourful; and maybe some more vegetarian options; but everyone else said their meal was fantastic. Would be back to try more from the menu.
