Ive
used
kcal
kitchen
for
meal-prep
3
times
now.
I
bought
a
few
weeks
worth
whenever
there
was
an
offer
on
facebook.
Most
of
it
is
still
in
my
freezer.
First
time
i
ordered
was
great,
although
part
of
what
i
ordered
wasn't
available,
and
they
only
had
one
more
thing
left
that
i
could
take
instead.
The
second
and
third
time
i
collected
my
orders,
i
kept
having
to
go
back,
it
was
never
ready
on
time,
even
after
receiving
an
email
telling
me
exactly
when
it
was
meant
to
be.
I
even
received
an
"Your
order
is
complete"
email
a
MONTH
after
picking
up
my
last
order.
The
text
on
the
website
means
nothing,
you
cannot
order
before
11am
for
same
day
pickup,
in
Glasgow
at
least,
due
to
it
being
made
in
Edinburgh
and
shipped
across.
Staff
are
friendly
enough,
although
have
had
to
stand
and
wait
at
the
counter
when
there
was
no-one
else
in
the
store.
First
time
i
received
my
order
in
a
paper
bag
(not
great
if
your
travelling
any
distance)
so
they
went
in
the
back
and
got
an
old
asda
bag
for
life
to
give
me
(not
the
best
of
first
impressions)
and
the
other
two
i
received
large
boxes,
with
ice
packs
in
them,
the
food
rarely
taking
up
even
half
the
box
space.
The
food
itself:
It
does
look
like
the
pictures,
but
the
chicken...this
stuff
has
either
been
frozen
before,
or
its
just
low
quality
supermarket
pre-cut
chicken.
I
was
expecting
fresh
cooked
chicken
but
it
was
tough
and
chewy,
even
eating
it
from
chilled
and
not
re-freezing
it.
As
most
of
the
dishes
contain
chicken
its
the
same
in
every
dish,
apart
from
the
Mac
&
Cheese
which
has
a
sort
of
pulled
chicken.
One
of
the
containers
i
received
(i
think
it
was
for
Chicken
Satay)
does
not
contain
chicken
in
the
ingredients
label,
which
im
sure
is
a
legal
requirement.
So,
would
i
order
meal
prep
from
kcal
kitchen
again?
not
unless
the
chicken
is
changed
for
fresh/store
cooked
chicken
and
the
ordering
process
is
clearly
outlined.
Im
always
looking
for
places
to
go
for
coffee/food
in
Glasgow,
but
after
the
issues
with
the
meal
prep,
im
slightly
put-off
trying
any
of
the
cafes
food
as
if
its
the
same
quality
as
the
meal-prep,
id
rather
just
go
to
Tesco
and
buy
packaged
chicken
and
microwave
rice.
