The ratings for this place are through the roof. Now we see why!! Great atmosphere. Packed place. Wait staff was stretched thin but they covered things well. We had great food & drinks. Prices are reasonable. Absolutely love this place. I’d eat here once a week if I lived in Glasgow.

Went for the first time just by seeing the Google maps high rating. We enjoyed the food where we tried three different kinds of pizzas. The service was also quick despite the very busy place. The prices were also reasonable. Worth coming back.

Wonderful place serves terrific fresh authentic pizza. The starter with burrata cheese, creamy and delicious. The pickled onions were a killer, well balanced sourness and crunchy. Definitely a must have. The pizza with spicy salami was unbelievably great. The hotness and the overall taste was so we'll balanced adding on The temperature and chewiness of the pizza, simply an orchestration for mouth. Pizza were delivered really fast and fresh. The lemon cake and the cherries as desserts ended the night we'll. Space was quite big and despite of the queue, it was quite fast to be seated. No reservations so can only walk in to wait but all worth it. Staff were a bit busy though but still friendly and nice.

Superb spot for Naples-style pizza. Busy and lively just after 1pm and an incredibly reasonably priced lunch: pizzas, beer, wine, coffees and cake for two. Superb pizza with a nice range of vegetarian options. The raspberry and white chocolate cake could have done with climbing gear and we were defeated. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Brilliant.

Called in on the off chance of a table despite them being really busy. Was pleased when within 5 minutes I was seated. Ordered my pizza and again in no time at all it was sat in front of me. Fresh in taste, and wonderful in appearance. Highly recommended this place. Service was polite and helpful. Excellent work.

Perfect place for social occasions. So full of live and always bursting with happy guests. It wasn't my first visit and definitely it wasn't my last. I like coming back every time I want good food in a vivid and fast paced surroundings. The staff is amazing. They are so professional and so polite it does make a difference. Good atmosphere, polite staff. Service was very quick. Pizza was very good. Well worth a visit. We had to wait 15 minutes to get a table as it was busy but it was easily worth it. They do not take reservations. Get the impression it is always busy at meal times but still worth the wait.

One if my favourite pizza places in Glasgow, not sure why it has taken Glasgow so long for a half decent pizza shop. There aren't many places in Scotland where you can get a good hand made pizza and a drink for under £10 and this place has to be one of them. We'll recommended.

Unfortunately we didn't get to eat there this afternoon, the manager was to busy talking to the waitress, and told us to wait outside. The restaurant didn't seem to busy, if I can recall they only had two tables at most. After waiting for five minutes, we decided to go to there neighbour Thunder Cat where we were well received

Central Glasgow, near George Square, Paesano does traditional, Italian style pizzas very well indeed. The place is always packed in what can only be imagined as a basic, army mess hall or crammed school dinner hall style: strangers seated together in long tables, or elbow to elbow in tiny 2 seat desks next to other couples eating. It's not romantic! It's more casual. The cutlery, including pizza cutter, is in an old food tin on the table, with a bottle of peppery drizzling oil. The waiters are quick and attentive. I think their memo is to get you served and out as quick as possible, which is fine if you want your pizza fast. The menu is limited but adequate. Vegans are catered for in that they offer a pizza without cheese. There's a bar and you can also get a side salad. The pizzas themselves are what makes Paesano such a popular place. They are delicious, and huge, built from scratch on sour dough bread and they're much cheaper than any fast food pizza chain. You can get a huge (probably 18 inch) pizza for £6, eating in. Can't beat that! They will also offer to box up your left overs. All in all, great tasting food and great value for money if you're not fussy about sharing a packed space with lots of others in close proximity on hard seats.

Loved it! Great service, great pizza served without fuss. They use wood fired ovens and apparently the temperature gets to 500 Celsius. Fantastic selection and you can add your own toppings.

Great pizza but rude staff that seem completely out of their depth operating in this current climate. I witnessed the manager verbally abuse a female customer because in his opinion they didn't follow his interpretation of Paesanos guidelines. I'm of the opinion this arose because the expectations weren't clear, the floor markings and signage wasn't sufficient and could be easily missed. Further the manager could have remedied this at the first instance rather than wait until the end and blow his composure. This led to Kyle (the name he barked to the customer) being aggressive, sarcastic, disrespectful and I'm sure he uttered a profanity under his breath also. As a fellow manager I couldn't believe what I was seeing, definitely in need of a personal development conversation.

Just one of the best pizza’s I have ever had. Super hot oven cooks the pies in 60-90 seconds. Had the spicy salami and it does not lie about the spice. Also get the ricotta cheese on the side to dip the crust in. Once you order, the pie comes fast.

Best authentic Italian pizza in Glasgow. Came here twice during my visit and tried the vegan special and the margarita - both equally delicious. The restaurant is very popular and busy, so be prepared to wait for a table. But trust me, it’s worth it! Staff are friendly and service was very efficient.

LGBT friendly environment. No dogs. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Does offer take away service. They also offer a few desert options that are always great quality.

Possibly best local pizza venue in Scotland. With the lockdown happening, not many people come around (usually place is almost full). Good social distancing methods applied, great and quick service, lovely staff and delicious and affordable food. Also heavily recommend to try pizza with a buffalo cheese.

The best pizza place in Glasgow. There is a reason the queue is normally huge, but you actually get served a lot quicker than the queue would let on. The pizzas are traditional and delightful. Seating is quite tight but you are going for the eating experience and not the fancy dressed-up experience here so it doesn't ruin it. Veggie and vegan options are both good and they taste great.

One of the best pizza's I have had. Super thin base that's got melt in your mouth texture. Even the crust is soft but cooked very well (not dry at all) that's actually very enjoyable to eat. Would highly recommend anyone trying this place. Price was OK as well.

Best pizza in Glasgow. Fresh and tasty. The base can be quite soft at times making it awkward to hold a slice but you don't really care after your first bite as the taste makes you turn into a pizza devouring animal...well I do at least.

Fantastic pizza. Vegan specials are always brilliant. Service is fast and collection very Covid secure. Check temperature and only 1 person allowed inside. Seem very on the ball. Interesting and varied menu choice which is regularly updated (I know because I eat it often enough!!)

Seriously fallen standards, yes these are tough times but come on. Ordered a standard Neapolitan as usual since 2018. Haven't had one for months and this one was so disappointing. They've swapped out the cheese for something noticeably cheap, the buffalo mozzarella is a £1.50 add on. Given a 10min wait time to pick up after ordering when we returned the man said "these take like 2 minutes in the oven guys you don't need to wait so long". I reminded him 10m was his instruction and got a blank stare in return??

Awesome pizza. Base was similar to naan bread. Delicious and cracking service. Everyone has their temperature taken as you enter and staff were taking all expected precautions. We'll definitely be back soon.

It was my first time trying a pizza from Passant have wanted to try it for ages i must admit i have been left feeling a little bit disappointed i felt the topping very sloppy and it made the base very soft as I lifted it to eat it because we were eating it as a takeaway pizza in the car would not recommend this far too messy would need a knife and fork for sure the overall taste was good but the base was soo wet from all the veg and soft cheese on it the dough was more firm at the edges but was not firm in the middle 🤔

This bustling pizzeria in the heart of Glasgow is a local favourite no doubt and although the flavours are great I just feel like a pizza has no business being that soft. It has no structural integrity whatsoever. When you pick it up it drops like a flaccid member. Service and food quality is overall excellent but for me I found the rocket and Parmesan salad was the highlight of the meal. Still, it’s worth a try.

I had a delicious pie at Paesano Pizza. The place was mobbed, but I got a table for one in less than ten minutes. My pizza arrived quickly and the service overall was excellent. The host was efficient and polite. The woman who took my order was excellent. My pizza came out quickly and it was delicious.

The perfect example that doing one thing well is better than doing one hundred things badly. Lovely atmosphere and parking at night is not a problem. Proper authentic pizza. The tiramisu was lovely. It closes at 11pm and we reached there at 10.30pm. I just felt that we were rushed a bit and were constantly reminded of the closing time. Those pizzas are of a decent size so it takes time to finish. I wanted to try their desserts as well so I asked them to put them in takeaway boxes just in case we couldn't finish on time but the funny bit is that we were there till 11.20ish and nobody rushed us after the first 20mins or so. That brings me to the question that why the sudden rush in the beginning I understand the last orders have to go in by a certain time but I just feel like if they would have told us that you can take your time it'll be alright I would've enjoyed a lot more. I even spilled my drink on my pizza as I was just rushing in the beginning when our order arrived but later it was much calmer and I felt at ease. I'll definitely visit again but I'll make sure I don't bother going in if it's any later than 10pm. The food, atmosphere and the whole vibe was really good.

Not sure what to make of this place. It comes with a big reputation and the food is absolutely spot on (one of the best tiramasu's I've ever had) but the service was laughably dreadful. We were forgotten on more than one occasion and it took us two full hours to have a pizza and a dessert despite other tables being turned twice over. It was a busy Friday night so we would try again but the poor service took the edge off a great meal for us.

We chose to eat here based on a travel video we saw on YouTube. The food and service were top notch! The ingredients are all imported from Italy and the pizzas are amazing. Service was professional and friendly especially the manager, Kyle, who shared the history of their restaurants and took our picture for us. We’re going to eat at their pasta restaurant this evening. Oh, prices are very reasonable too. We highly recommend!
