Really good pizzas with perfect crust and the tiramisu was excellent! Super quick service, and very friendly staff. My only negative is that service was so quick we felt a little rushed, but everything else was great.

Really expected a little more from somewhere so in demand that they don't take bookings (yes, really). The pizza is very much passable, with a chunky southern Italian crust, and the topping choices are good. I like that the menu isn't too long and they keep it authentic ingredient-wise. My complaint would be that this just isn't put together like a top class Italian pizza (and as an Italian I've eaten a lot of pizza!). For example, my girlfriend paid extra to upgrade her cheese to mozzarella di bufala and it was just placed on top in flat discs which didn't seem stringy at all. Also, crucially, there was no pepper grinder to be seen and no offer of one. It's a pizzeria: give the people olive oil and pepper!

One of the best Pizzas in town for a very good price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They always have a vegan special on the menu and the food is prepared very quickly. Interior is also nice as you can see how the pizzas are prepared. Definitely a great dinning experience!

Best Pizza in whole UK! High quality ingrediens, small but fine menu and great athmosphere. Fiona was so nice and obliging! Prices more than fair and the pizza is awesome.

Best pizza in the world! Such a slick operation - the staff really know how to work the place - super quick and friendly service (you have to put your name on a waiting list at busy times as you can't pre-book but you can go find somewhere else to have a drink as you don't need to wait in line). The ricotta, red pepper and spinach is unbelievably tasty and always tastes so fresh and hearty! The decor is also very nice inside. Can go to paesano for a casual meal or a fancy dinner :)

Really lovely staff despite hectic environment and delicious pizza, especially the crust. Be careful when ordering that your pizza has cheese on it— the aubergine one for example didn’t (but you can add it)— and don’t assume that all pizzas have cheese. A bit unusual but still delicious!

We visited on Saturday 2nd April 2022 for the first time and would certainly return again. We did not have booking; it doesn't appear that the place takes bookings. Despite it opening midday (we arrived at 12:20), the place was quite full of people, so definitely worth to arrive early to avoid disappointment. The staff were kind, polite and seemed to be happy working there. The place didn't seem understaffed which is a rarity. And the open plan seating didn't seem as intrusive as in other places although it was quite noisy. The toilets were clean and in order. We had two different pizzas (numbers 4 (spicy) and 5) and drinks. The taste was very good, but the cutlery (mainly knifes) could be sharper, we had to wrestle quite a bit. Both cappuccino and beer were great and even the tap water tasted better than other places (or, indeed, at home). Size of the pizza was too much for me, I wish there would have been a warning or sizing provided. I think a starter and pizza to share might be enough for me personally and cheaper as well. I couldn't finish my pizza. I've seen a lot of people take the pizzas for takeaway during summer to share and am pretty sure I will be one of these people next summer. I do have to note though that many people talk about how cheap the pizzas are and I am not quite in agreement. It's good quality food but I wouldn't say it is cheap. Our total including tip was around £28.

Paesano’s is my favourite Neapolitan pizza in Glasgow. It has elevated my pizza experience and set my standards so high for other pizza places. I’ve already been countless of times. The service is great and I love conversing with the staff. It’s no surprise that the restaurant is always packed! I can’t wait to go again.

I got dragged here a second time by some of my pizza loving friends and I must say, the food is amazing like the last time I was here. I tried the prosciutto cotton with mushrooms, tomato sugo, mozzarella and evoo last time and I got the fresh tuscan fennel sausage with sugo, mozzarella and evoo this time, amazing. The interior is quite beautifully decorated but it's so noisy... However, the food alone is makes coming back worth it 😋

Queued to get in, heard the hubbub, saw postage size tables and took to flight. Not enough room for bottle vino on table. Noise a cachophony on ears.Tried town branch ages ago,it's okay; hey it's a Pizza joint, but too industrial to relax. The food, Pizza good, well you can't mess it up. Young dudes & dames, will like.Kelvinbridge is taking the "Smeg",queuing for a pizza? No social distance inside; go upmarket double size tables, get rid of riff raff Wannabees.

Great pizza at a very reasonable price the only fault which I noticed as the girl was cutting my pizza was she was doing so with a soaking wet pizza cutter which is kept in a container full of water this made my pizza wet still delicious but unfortunate that it was slightly spoiled by this.

Excellent pizza, i would've loved if they did fries as side option or any other variety of sides. But fantastic atmosphere. No booking on the phone, or pizza collection. You would need to drop in.

Outstanding pizzeria with the best sourdough base in the country. Popped in today with a friend and the specials board was calling…. Yellow sun dried tomato base made it one of the best pizzas I’ve had. Staff are amazing and the food is to die for. Keep up the amazing work.

Proper Italian pizza approved by an Italian friend! The bread was nicely baked and they put plenty of ingredients on it. I loved the Italian cooked ham! My friend ordered spicy pepperoni and it was also great. One pizza was quite a big portion for girls so do consider sharing.

Pizza usually turns out great. Been there over 30 times and there has been a few times when the pizza was not as good as it usually is. Good warm atmosphere and service is quick. I only wish they did the smoked mozzarella pizza more often.

Wonder full place! From very enterance staff welcome me with a smile on the faces. Pizza was stunning! One of the best in a while. I have ordered number 7 (with fennel sausage). What a fantastic way of having first meal of the day! Chilli oil was spot on as well. Took off menu pizza as take away. Vegan option. Could be more salty but over all fab as well! With pure heart, its a recommendation for pizza lovers and beyod!

Lovely place and lovely sraff! They are making sure that everyone follows the 2m social distance, they take your temperature in the entrace with a machine, and doing everything with a smile! Pizzas are amazing of course and really good price! Thank you so much for your hard work in this pandemic!

Best Pizza place in Glasgow, food was delicious & service has been top from all staff. Special thank you to Kyle (hope I've spelled that correctly) in a pandemic me and the wife was surprised to see two free deserts at our table as a way of saying congratulations on your wedding. I've always said the Scots are more generous than the British 😆 definitely will be back for more free deserts lol

Amazing pizza. I lived 12yrs in Italy and this is proper Italian pizza. Fast service, lively restaurants. Only downsides are ,sometimes, the deserts. Don't get the black forest one because it will ruin all the goodness from before. Stick to pizza and sides that are top quality.

  • 5/5 Brenden 9 months ago on Google
What an outstanding place! My wife and I agree this is probably the best pizza we've ever had in our lives. They prepare it in the original Naples way in a wood fire oven. Pizza has a thin crust, but is soft and there's a generous amount of sauce and cheese. All the ingredients were absolutely top notch. They have many authentic pizzas to choose from. The sides are also outstanding. And the price is more than reasonable. The staff is outstanding, and the energy is great. We came here three evenings straight it was such an amazing experience.

Best pizza in Glasgow! Very original. They serve only fresh food from fresh ingredients. Try the burrata with tomato, and you'll evident their freshness. They have open kitchen you you can see how the bake their pizza. The price is affordable as well. Hands down!

PIZZA fantastica ✨ really really nice restaurant... went there on a weekday but the entire place was buzzing and everyone looked happy with their order 💕 Portion is GREAT for the price... even tho it is supposed to be thin crust Neapolitan Pizza ------ but they were sooooo fluffy and chewy and I absolutely loved their texture... Oh and adding some chilli oil to the pizza enhances the overall flavour and spiciness 🥰 Obviously freshly prepared because you can literally see how the chefs are cooking / baking the pizzas 🍕 And no doubt the service and staffs are super good (they will even explain all the pizza toppings available)... And you get free tap water if you wish you have it instead of any soft / hard drink 💫 Also, I loved their lemonade... Great taste 🍹 So overall I LOVED THIS PLACE ✨✨✨✨ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🍕 P.S. if you don't have a good appetite take one pizza at first and check if you can finish it all at once... of course you have the takeaway option if you can't finish it...

Best pizza I’ve ever had. Been here countless times over the years and it’s always just as good. Recommend adding fresh chillies to whatever pizza you fancy. Paesano/Sugo also do the best tiramisu I’ve ever had.

Professional, fast and lovely service. There was quite a queue but as soon as we entered Paesano they signed us up for a table and told us to come back in 30 minutes, instead of just waiting we could use that time to have a drink at a nearby pub. Very cosy although busy venue with delicious food.

Friendly, attentive, authentic. First timers checking Paesano out for my missus birthday. A nice Friday afternoon 2pm. Big spacious layout for the former bank. Staff were very attentive and friendly to us. One small "mistake" in our starter and the whole thing was remade from scratch and taken off the bill. Top level surprising customer service. They put the customers first. Staff explain the menu to you and also the difference of the specials etc. Thank you again for the raspberry cheesecake as birthday surprise for Shabeena! Lovely! We'll be back!! Ps. Portion size... Very good!!

The first time I have eaten a whole pizza they are amazing. A great buzz about the place. Busy but still have time for there customers. No booking but quite a quick turn over. Very good value. Limited menu but if you like pizza you wont care.

Cracking pizzas ( and I do like a good pizza ) fast efficient staff, a great busy atmosphere and did I mention the pizza ? All Neopoloitan heritage ingredients and great value explains why this place was so busy on a dark, wet, windy, February Tuesday night. It even had a small queue ! 2 pizzas, 2 drinks, and the tip £21. I would gladly return and recommend without hesitation, so if you're in Glasgow and you like pizza - don't miss this place.

  • 5/5 Leigh H. 4 years ago on Google
Great pizza, with fresh thin base. Limited choice but quality and great service. Atmosphere buzzing so it's popular and you may have to wait. No reservations but if you go to the reception put your name down you will get a time to eat and local pubs great for a quick beer beforehand. Price wise very good value for monney.

  • 5/5 Clark G. 4 years ago on Google
Pizza so good that every other pizza won't even come close. There's something about the ingredients and the way that they're cooked and finished in the oven that gives everything a really rich a sharp flavour. It's a nice place to be in too, however at the weekend there's competition to get seated and expect to have to put your name down to come back within 30 minutes to an hour. Lots of bars and cafes close by though to keep your evening going before you get in. Price is also incredible for the pizza you will get.

Good pizza but not taking appropriate social distancing measures. People queue close to each other and they occupy a large portion of the sidewalk while waiting for their order. Perhaps a more organized collection point and trash recycling could be put in place.
