To start with, The crème brûlée was to die for!!!!! My friend who doesn’t have a sweet tooth was obsessed with the flavour of it! The dessert was a perfect mix of sweetness and tasted ahmaaaazing!! The tapas were also great with the garlic bread!!! I would say totally go for it as the ambience of the place is lovely and the food great! Would recommend!!

Went to Glasgow City centre with no booking on a Saturday night and they managed to get a table for us! Great selection of tapas dishes. But what set the dinner apart was the service. All of the staff were so attentive and really made us feel welcome. Special thanks to Morgan, she was lovely!

Probably our favourite place in Glasgow. Amazing food, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Great place to just sit and enjoy yourself for a moment whilst watching the city go by!

Absolutely loved everything about the place. Great food, reasonably priced, and good portions! I especially loved their calamari tapas and paella but the best of them all was their ice cream 😍

Aesthetics: 4/10, the tables are a bit too close to each other. Service: 7/10, the waiters were adequate and satisfactory. Food: Calamares 3/10, tastes a bit eggy. Pescado adobado 6/10, tender and the batter was good. French fries 9/10, perfectly crispy and salted (how odd the only thing I liked in a Spanish restaurant were the french fries). Garlic bread 3/10, far too buttery and not enough garlic. Also, only has 1 halal option.

Excellent service - quick and friendly. Tasty food and good size of portions. Very reasonable safety precautions - distancing, masks should be worn when not sitting at the table, disposable paper menus.

We had an early Sunday evening dinner at Café Andaluz and enjoyed a £20 deal which included 3 tapas each plus (amazing) dessert. The restaurant atmosphere was bustling and vibrant with a choice of seating inside and out. Inside the décor is enchanting with dark wood tables and seats and Spanish tiles on the walls and table tops. The front house team were very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding and if taken apart from the rest of the experience would be reason enough visit. The whole dining experience was fantastic and highly recommended. I had raspberry cheesecake for dessert which deserves a special mention; it was absolutely delicious.

As we've never been to a Spanish restaurant before neither of us really knew what to order but our waitress was amazing with recommendations. The food was fantastic! We ate until we could eat no more. Desert was a delight too. The menu caters well to everyone. Our bill was quite high but that was mainly the cocktails. The food is very well priced. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's got a great atmosphere. We would definitely go back

Really good service. There was nothing that was too much for the staff. Great for large groups. The food was great for sharing and absolutely delicious. Can get busy, especially at the weekends so I would consider booking in advance.

This is actually a 3 star restaurant, and can easily pass off as a 4 or even 5 stars on a good day. However the waiter quite pointedly said that he doesn't care for Google reviews, and that I should leave him "0 stars", so here we are. The restaurant is busy and we were a group of 6, and most of the food was good or okay. The highlights were black pudding, patatas bravas, aubergine and couscous salad. Alioli and croquettes were quite bland and fried peppers were passable. Verdict: can visit, but nothing to seek

Another great night at Cafe Andaluz. Delicious paella de carne, followed by churros washed down with Larios gin and tonic and a bottle of house white. ??

  • 5/5 Conor D. 4 years ago on Google
Fantastic tapas. Lovely food and welcoming staff at Cafe Andaluz. Good range of tapas options as to be expected. Quite a few of the staff are Spanish and were happy to make recommendations for the food and drinks. Prices were reasonable (for tapas) and so was the wine. Started with a glass of beer and then had a bottle of red, which was recommended and went well with the food. Would definitely come back here if in the area again.

I ate 9 of the dishes they serve, and 3 desserts. The only thing I didnt like was goat cheese but Im not a fan. Other than that everything was so good I didnt know what to eat first.

  • 1/5 Mina A. 3 years ago on Google
Food was definitely not fresh and was weakly reheated to room temperature at best, also had lamb which was really chewy! Covid arrangements were definitely superb and I applaud that, the place was clean, distance was okay, and one way system was clear. While I do appreciate we are in tough times, serving stale food is definitely a deal breaker, if you are having troubles due to covid arrangements, reduce the menu and serve a smaller selection that would still be cooked to order instead of just serving lower quality stale food here...

Great little place in Glasgow, we came here before an event in the evening and had the 3 dishes and a dessert for £17.95 deal. Fresh, tasty tapas with plenty of choice. Delicious churros for Afters with plenty of dipping chocolate. Great service and atmosphere. Will be back.

We have been a number of times. Perfect city centre location for a great tapas meal. The restaurant is like stepping into Spain. Always great service and food and price is fair. I recommend trying their own Adaluz Cerveza.

  • 4/5 Alia A. 4 years ago on Google
The place is amazing, the location is amazing, as well as the service. The food was very good, but I didn’t like the beef tapas as mush as the sea food tapas. If you are around the area, order from the fish and seafood tapas menu, the goat cheese with orange marmalade and the potato gratin 👍🏽

  • 5/5 Saami P. 3 years ago on Google
We really enjoyed our meal, the service, and the atmosphere generated by the friendly staff of The Cafe Andaluz. We enjoyed great tapas and mains, delicious to the end. I would heartily recommend the Cafe Andaluz to anyone whom wishes to enjoy a wonderful evening (for very a very reasonably priced menu). Thank you Cafe Andaluz.

  • 4/5 Luc R. 3 years ago on Google
This looks good for the gram, but this is not how traditional tapas is eaten. Poor selection of beers. Paella was great. Selection of cocktails are great. Menu can be a bit trivial if do not know how to pronounce Spanish words but overall a good experience.

  • 5/5 Briana M. 3 years ago on Google
Excelente experiencia! I stepped into Cafe Andaluz for a meal Sunday evening; they had a special for three tapas and a desert. Inside, the restaurant was nicely decorated with elegant Spanish colors and themes; It was also conveniently located right outside George square. The staff was quick and offered good recommendations. I ordered the Albondigas (three tomato sauce marinated meatballs) , Pollo rebozado con miel (honeyed light crispy chicken strips), gammas a la plancha (fresh shrimp plate) and posset de limon (lemon posset and two shortbread cookies--hit the spot). (All pictured and all which I highly recommend.) Will be coming back soon; It was lovely.

The food here is consistently absolutely delicious, I've been here many times thanks to the regularly outstanding standards. The decor is quaintly and at the same time lively and full of character. You immediately feel comfortable and settled in. Some of the tables are spaced too close together, and it can be a bit uncomfortable trying not to interrupt a stranger whilst still talking to your fellow diners. The food is so good, you'll always be trying something new to experience it all! Plus it's such a central location that it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Glasgow.

Great food and fantastic service. The churros were the best I've ever had in the UK. They were home made. Only minor criticism was a lack of flavour to the Albondigas and Tortilla ( they could have both done with some seasoning as they were a little bland). The rest of the experience was great.

The food here was amazing. The sangria was pretty good. The decor was pretty. The food came out quickly. So many wonderful tapas options to try. Be careful if you don’t like black pudding, they sneak it into the chicken Paella. Some of the seating options were difficult to get into and out of, so that may be a consideration for some. You should check this place out, we loved it but we had to to get out of there b/c we were so full.

Great food, great atmosphere. Service was excellent. We ordered bread and several tapas. All of it came out very quickly and piping hot. All the tapas were delicious and had their own flavors. Highly recommend.

Loved the food and the draft beer. Excellent service and lovely staff who made us feel great. The ambience of this restaurant is very good, its beautiful from inside and felt very warm. Lot of vegan options as well as we only wanted vegetarian options and it tasted so good. Lovely experience 😊❤️

This was our first day in Glasgow and with a quick google maps search, we spotted that this little gem was nearby and, based off the reviews, we wanted to check it out. Thankfully, Cafe Andaluz were able to squeeze us in (Saturday mid-afternoon) and we got a large table for the two of us. The choice of tapas meals was extensive and we found what suited our appetites. The tapas portion of paella was excellent and both patatas dishes were lovely. My only niggle was the calamari was over cooked in the seafood dish. Everything else was brilliant. Thank you!

  • 3/5 kanika s. 1 year ago on Google
Standard tapas bar in central Glasgow. The ambiance is really lovely and the place is really beautifully decorated. It was very busy on a Friday evening in December but we managed to be seated without a reservation. The food on the flip side wasn’t as great, especially for the price. We found it lacked a bit of flavour and some of the meat/based tapas were dry.

  • 5/5 Gillian B. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing from start to finish. Had 3 tapas each with bread and olives and a jug of sangria. Cost under £70 which included a tip.

  • 5/5 Cicy G. 9 months ago on Google
This restaurant was recommended by the staff at our hotel and so glad we came! We got a table on Sunday night and had their 3 tapas + dessert for £22.95. We got the patatas bravas, calamari, paella tapa, mussels, croquettes, and tagine of lamb shoulder. I would make the same choices again except for perhaps the croquettes (a bit blander), everything was delicious. The fresh churros were such a treat and I really enjoyed the chocolate brownie which wasn't too dense, more of a cake texture.

  • 5/5 Chris B. 4 months ago on Google
First time here and not the last. The host was great as we were half an hour early but got seated even though it was really busy. The service was top class with every member of staff working really well together. The food was excellent so will have to go back and try some different dishes. Really nice atmosphere though the chatting was a little loud at times which can't be helped. My recommendation is the gambas picantes.

  • 5/5 Chhavi B. 5 months ago on Google
I loved this place so much, went there twice during my short stay in Glasgow. The raspberry dessert I had was probably the best dessert I’ve had in a while. The next time I visited, I had their weekend Spanish Brunch, it was amazing. Would highly recommend this place.

  • 5/5 Martin B. 4 months ago on Google
Food is very good, we had a great selection of tapas and it was really tasty. Service was quick, and the plates were really hot, which is a good trait. It was a midweek day, and the place was still buzzing, so that was a good sign. If you like Spanish food, I can recommend this place, and it's not extortionate in its pricing.

  • 5/5 Doug N. 7 months ago on Google
Very good. We visited in large group, and tapas works well for that. Nice room in Spanish/Moorish style. Authentic staff. Food came quickly, and all at once - which is not my usual tapas experience. Food was very good. Well recommended

  • 3/5 Kazuya O. 6 months ago on Google
Tiny portion, too much salty taste, pricy… Sorry to say that, but I won’t come back here. Even half empty, the service was quite slow, though it’s a big deal. I’m visiting Spain quite often…..
